Personal Trainer Toni Carey - How To Create An Online Trainer Program In Fitness

Todays guest Personal Trainer joining us on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who has a huge mission in her life. And as we see all the time, when someone has a mission in their lives, they start influencing more and more people across the world to buy into that mission too. And that is certainly the case with todays guest, who is co-founder of Black Girls Run, a grassroots organization that encourages and inspires African-American women to live a healthy lifestyle. While currently serving at the helm of Black Girls RUN!, she is also a freelancer writer for Zelle (a Runner’s World publication) and a blog ambassador for Brooks Running. She has been named one of the “30 Black Bloggers You Should Know” by The Root, Essence Magazine’s and recently received Toyota’s Standing O-Vation Award presented at Oprah’s 2014 “The Life You Want” Weekend in Atlanta. But if you think this lady has all the time in the world to get these recognitions then think again, as most of this began when she was still a fulltime employee. She had the hustle muscle, and was willing to put in the out of hours effort that was required to to become the online trainer that she is today. So with a manta of “Do What You Love. Love What You Do.” does she find that the majority of people go “Yes, that’s what I want” and then do nothing about making that happen at all? And does she see what she has built so far just being the tip of the iceberg. and the true vision of what being an online trainer can become is starting to truly reveal itself? Well let’s bring onto the show to start joining up dots, as we discuss the words of Steve Jobs in todays free podcast, with the one and only Toni Carey

Show Highlights

During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Toni Carey such as: How she remembers being really productive at High School, and loved nothing more than having her fingers in as many pies as she can..taste testing the future.

Why she reflects on the fact she has never worked in a job for more than two years, and believes that we must surrender to the situations that life throws at us.

How she recalls being presented to Oprah Winfrey and being shocked when the main lady said “Hi I’m Oprah”….er, I think I know who you are she thought.

And lastly…. How she sees that the big successes in life have come her way almost by accident, and when she forces the issue, things never go as well for her.

Todays show is a solo show where your host talks about persistence, and how this is probably the most singularly most important thing you can possess in your life. Persistence is probably one of the most admirable characters a person can possess.  It’s the ability to be determined to do or achieve something regardless of any setbacks. Now everyone has the ability to set goals, and plans in their life. They set everything up to work perfectly (at least on paper) But once they get into the building process then they find that the words on the bit of paper aren't really working. There are obstacles appearing that they could never have planned for. And that is why persistence is such a vitally important skill that you just have to develop in your own lives. 6 Ways to Develop Persistence The most interesting thing about a postage stamp is the persistence with which it sticks to its job. – Napoleon Hill Developing persistence is a master skill to success.  It is easier to relax and do nothing, or just live in our comfort zone, rather than face the uncertainty and discomfort of sailing thru our goals.  Plus, the idea of failure and hardship is unbearable. But if you want to create change in your life and achieve success, now is the time to develop and master persistence.  Here are six (6) ways to help you develop persistence: 1.  Identify Your Wants and Desires If you don’t know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else.  – Lawrence J. Peter Before you can develop persistence and eventually achieve success, you need to first identify your wants or desires.  You can do this by simply writing down specifically all the things you want to have or accomplish.  List down all your desires and wants, no matter how impossible they are to achieve in the moment. 2.  Determine Your Motivation Motivation comes from a deep reason why we want to achieve or have something.  If you know why you’re doing what you’re doing, it gives you more energy to keep moving. For an instance, you want to publish a book.  Creating a book takes time and patience.  If you don’t have enough motivation, a reason why you need to publish the book, you probably can never finish it.  But if you’re motivated by the thought of influencing and teaching millions of readers thru your words, only then will you keep pushing yourself to work on finishing the book. 3.  Outline Your Definite Action Step Identifying your wants or desires speaks of what you want to achieve.  Determining your motivation shows the reasons why you want to achieve what you want.  Outlining your definite action step is necessary to know how you will be able to achieve what you want. When you know how to get what you want, it makes it easier to achieve it.  To know how, it pays to do some research and planning of what needs to be done on your part.  Be specific on each step you need to take.  Identify at least two (2) ways and plans on how you can achieve your goals. 4.  Keep a Positive Mental Attitude The road to success is not easy, in fact, it’s challenging, this is why only few succeeds.  There will be countless times you will be face with defeat and failures that if you are weak, you’ll be succumbing to negative thoughts of fears and doubts. In order to develop persistence and eventually succeed in your endeavor, always maintain a positive mental attitude, regardless of situation.  Keep your thoughts focused on taking action towards your goals.  Avoid negative thoughts and feelings for it will ruin your concentration and persistence. 5.  Build Your Mastermind Group Mastermind Group composes of people who can help you succeed towards your goal.  Choose carefully who you will trust as part of your mastermind group.  If possible, include only those who can give you unbiased judgments and who has positive mental attitude.  You can’t afford wasting your time listening to cynical advices and pessimist people.  These types of people won’t help you succeed; instead, they will drown your energy that can eventually lead to failure. 6.  Develop Discipline and Habit All your goal-setting and planning will go to waste if you won’t be able to develop discipline and good habit. Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. – Jim Rohn There will be a lot of hindrances that will stop you from moving towards your goal, and without proper discipline, it will be easy for you to sail away.  Upholding discipline and good habits can help you stay in the course, even despite difficulties.

Online Courses are what the world are delivering nowadays. And my guests today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview are a couple that know how to build online courses better than most people. They are a couple who quite simply, stopped looked at their life and then made it what they want. And with the greatest respect to both of them, and we will discuss this in the interview they are what you would call normal. A normal couple, with a normal lifestyle, normal kids but an extraordinary way of making decisions and enough of them to make things work the way they want. They are the owners of the Flipped Lifestyle business, where through their own mistakes, successes and consistency they now teach people the route to success in their own business. They teach how to create businesses that work around a family instead of the other way. As they say "In 2012, on a rare day off work, Shane stumbled across a podcast about regular people changing their lives through online business. We started brainstorming about how we could do this too, and started a couple of websites just to see what happened. No one could have prepared us for what happened next. In just a few short months, we were able to make thousands of extra dollars each month through online business. Just one year later, we surpassed the five figure mark in online sales for a single month. When our August 2013 sales surpassed $36,000, we decided it was time to stop working for someone else and start living for our family." And now with sales in excess of one million dollars all earned online, they travel the globe, in their shorts and sneakers, smiling broadly from ear to ear, as there community of wannabe entrepreneurs grows their smiles with them. So looking back on their lives as hard working teachers, do they think that the ability to change a life so dramatically is more down to mindset or talent? And was it really a rocket ship to success they launched, with a doubt that it would fail? Or did they go through the same issues as the rest of us? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Shane & Jocelyn Sams Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Shane & Jocelyn Sams  such as: Why freedom means so much to both Shane and Jocelyn certainly more than money can ever do, which is a surprise to so many people that they meet. Jocelyn shares why both her and Shane decided to become teachers, and how they were actually quite content in their lives, but now see that they had given control of their lives away. Why you don't have to be an expert to sell online products, instead you actually only have to present it to the people on the road behind you. and lastly…. Shane talks about the first 11 cents that he earnt online and how he was so excited he literally jumped out of bed and jumped up and down knowing his life had changed forever.

Dream jobs is what everyone wants, and my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is the founder and publisher of Mac’s List. helping people find the dream jobs that they will love. His platform Mac’s List is now the premier resource for connecting passionate, creative professionals to meaningful and creative work throughout Oregon and Washington, with a growing monthly outreach to more than 80,000 people. Prior to moving to there in 1991, he lived in Massachusetts where he was legislative and media relations director for the state Office for Refugees and Immigrants, the first public information officer for Boston’s “Big Dig,” and a researcher in former U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy’s first Congressional campaign. But this was of course a stepping stone to where he is today the recognized expert on job hunting and career management. Throughout the years our guest and his team’s mission has always remained the same: to help people find rewarding, interesting jobs that pay decent salaries and to help employers find the best possible candidates for those jobs So whether you are looking for your first dream job, a better dream job or just want to manage the direction of your career, Mac’s List offers the resources you need to make it happen. In addition to Mac's List, he also runs Prichard Communications, a registered B Corp creative agency that works with top-tier foundations, nonprofits and purpose driven brands across the country. So was this a business driven by his desire to help people change their lives or simply a gap in the market he could see needed to be filled? And where do people go wrong when looking for a job? Is it not knowing themselves well enough, or the company that they are hoping to enter? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Mac Prichard. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Mac Prichard such as: Why it is so important to be able to delegate in your business, as this is a brilliant way of scaling your business. The owner must be allowed to do what they do best. Why knowing your goals is the first thing that people need to be focused on when going for a job. Don't take the job without knowing what you want to get out of it. The second thing is looking for a company that interests you.....make sure you connect with people inside that organization to find out what its like on the inside before you ever go for the interview. and lastly…. The issue that surrounds the job market place, where 80% of jobs are never being posted to the world.  Recognise that most jobs are filled by word of mouth and start networking.

My interview today on the Join Up Dots free business podcast is a lovely lady who was kind enough to allow me to spend time with her on her own show Freedom Academies.....Turbo Charge Your Success. Now during our conversation it was clear to me that this was a lady that I needed to get on Join Up Dots, as she has a story that shows all the characteristics that we find in the succesfull. She has motivation. She has hustle And alongside her business partner Laura West, a few years ago found themselves homeless The business they ran together was going south and they were exhausted. They had no option at all but to move into two rooms in the office. They had a problem that most business owners have at one time or another. They were very good at that they did, but nobody knew about it. Thye couldnt get their talents out into the world. They started researching business growth systems, high performance ‘gurus’, wealth creation experts and all the investment strategies they could get there hands on. Within twelve months they had a property portfolio worth over $2,000,000 that they had bought with others people’s money. More importantly the income from that property was double the income from their business that they had spent years building up! They also applied all the business knowledge they had gained, transformed their business and went on to sell it! They did all of this while being homeless, using the leisure centre across the road to shower and working 80 hours per week. They were at such a rock bottom that they had the ability to create huge freedom of choice in their lives. So was it just that the dots joined up, the time became right for them to flourish? Or was it more to do with the undertanding that upskilling your knowledge is the way to go. Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only property entrepreneur Kemi Egan

So entrepreneurship seems really fun? And you want to be an entrepreneur but you are too scared hat you don't have the skills to be one? Well thats not a surprise after all. as an entrepreneur is a super powerful individual that has skills that the normal man just cant possess. They need less sleep than you and me. They don't even need to stop and eat like you and I do. They are the supreme beings, controllers of their own destiny and able to cast a shadow across the world and the rest of us. That is of course the perception of what an entrepreneur is, or at least so many people want you to think that....but it's rubbish. And entrepreneur at its heart, is someone who is willing to try to do something. Accept failure. Accept risk, and go again. These are super powers by any stretch of the imagination. These are things that we all posses, if want to posses them. They are in all of us. I'll give you an example.....and this example is going to be about me the host of Join Up Dots. When I started the show, all I could do was turn on the microphone and talk. And even that small action I had to learn. Did I call myself an entrepreneur? Of course I didn't as I didn't know the first thing about it. But I knew how to take a risk and give something a go. I knew how to minimise the downside and try to maximize the upside (in this case not spend a lot to get going, but try to make some cash as some as possible) And that is what I have done, and little by little I am making more cash and having a lovely life. Now not for one moment would I call myself an entrepreneur. What I would call myself is someone who is willing to have a go, and work hard at something. No super powers at all, just pure, down to earth work ethic and persistence. So if you dont think you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur, dont be one. Call yourself anything but give it a go, and you will be amazed at what you achieve in your life.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is with a man who first appeared on the show back on episode nine of Join Up Dots.

As we spoke about on the first show, some people are born to make money.

Others are born to provide value to others.

Our guest today was born to do both.

From his early days in school, he knew how to hustle, zigging whilst others zagged, zoning in on opportunities whilst others looked the other way.

He made money as a young man, and knew that this was the way he wanted his life to be.

But life in school is I suppose “Childs play” compared to what is in store when the high school bell rings for the last time, and your thrust out into the big wide world to fend for yourself.

Our guest knew this and before even leaving high school, was creating a path that would lead him to where he is today.

By enrolling into an MLM course, he learnt the skills of rapport building and developed the ability to create connections with people from all forms of life.

This is probably the most important skill that any entrepreneur could hope to have.

But although a huge step in the right direction, he was making very little money, so knew he had to take a step into the unknown and accept a level of risk that he hadn’t before.

This risk came when he realised that there was opportunities galore in real estate, and before long, with a huge list of tenants paying him rent from properties he owned, he was a paper millionaire.

Not bad for someone only in the 20’s.

However the phrase “Learn to expect the unexpected” could have had been a very useful mantra to have, as boom time literally disappeared overnight.

In 2008 the real estate crash occurred, and forced our guest into bankruptcy.

Despondent, depressed and broke, he had two choices..

One to say goodbye to the good life and settle into a life of “What Ifs” and “Broken Dreams”

Or he could fight back, and restore himself to previous glories.

Well after after rebuilding his millionaire net worth he’s achieved a higher minded psychology, greater financial freedom, and full awareness of the science of creating Success From Scratch™.

He now currently teaches students across the globe how to create entrepreneurship time freedom with his program. (Alphahomeflipping.com)

And with this incredible bounce-backability he has put all his learnings and strategies into his second published book, Success From Scratch™ Mental Strategies for Success in a Survival of the Fittest Environment available now at Amazon.

So is he truly at a place now, where the hustle has been replaced with fun and enjoyment, or can he never leave behind the “What if i lose it all again” mentality?

And why did he feel the need to put his knowledge into words again, when there are many many such similar books sitting covered in dust on the book shelves of the world?

Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Nick Ruiz.

Show Highlights

During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Nick such as:

Why feelings are so important to be aware off as you proceed to build your own future. Excitement is key to pointing the way to the gold.

Nick shares how  monetizing your passion could well be dangerous and should be considered fully before entering into its pursuit.

Why so many people fail to celebrate or reward themselves after achieving goals, and why this is so a huge failure for continued success.

and lastly….

Nick and I discuss the power of rough draft moves and how he believes this is the key to all success.

Doing the impossible can quite often seem a step too far for most people. But my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who seems loves doing the impossible more than anything. He is kind of normal from the outside, but did deeper and you can see a world changing mission. One side of the fence is a coach, and a very successful one at that. He has has helped clients create multimillion pound investments from nothing, he has coached CEO’s to build thriving companies, philanthropists to set up charities, couples to conceive and lovers to start fantastic relationships. He has helped the intrepid to change jobs, change careers and even change countries. He has helped entrepreneurs to find their dream companies and senior executives to earn promotion to the Board. He is dedicated to serving extraordinary people in recreating their lives beyond recognition. Which is of course powerful stuff for sure but then you see the standout journey that he is on. At least it is for us at Join Up Dots. In 2015 he created the impossible busting Chicken shit foundation, which was created to honour and fulfill the legacy of Rafael Bejarano Rangel, who was tragically killed in Egypt, to bring empowerment, education, and transformation to all people through music, laughter and compassion, and to help re-awaken waning or lost indigenous traditions and support their sustainability and survival through the youth of the world. They accomplish their mission by enrolling the support and voices of Chicken-Shits (ie. those who need to believe in themselves more, even if it’s just at certain times with certain people, and who would benefit from taking stock of the gifts and talents they posses that the world is hungry for, and then sharing accordingly.) Our current projects include building schools in Liberia West Africa and for a community in Mexico as well as youth empowerment and preservation of indigenous traditions among youth around the world. They do this by fund raising, mentoring, providing leadership and raising awareness and through building a global community. Big stuff is going on in this mans life so it is a delight to have him on the show. But what made this English man do something, very un-english, and peer his head over his own garden fence and start to make a difference to others across the world? And does he look back and think, I wished I had started this earlier or did it appear at the perfect time for him to be able to achieve his aims? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Simon Crowe

Sleep and getting enough sleep can be such a huge issue for us all.

Which is why Christine Hansen built a whole business around getting sleep into our lives.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who the majority of the world need to get into contact with at sometime or another.

She is a sleep expert who over the last years has positioned herself as the go to person to help you drift off into a pleasant, restful and recharging sleep as soon as your head hits the pillow. As she says “I understand that sleeping, while on sleep medication isn’t really sleeping. I understand that falling asleep, but then having to lie awake for hours in the middle of the night isn’t really sleeping, and I understand that waking up just as tired as when you went to bed isn’t really sleeping either” So hands up….come on people be honest “How many of you have fallen into one of these sleep patterns over the last few years?” Yep, I know that I have, so how has our guest managed to find the solution to something that plagues all of us at one time or another. And the answer is, she has been on a journey of self discovery, upskilling and putting herself and her knowledge out there Starting her journey as an English teacher in Luxembourg, she had a pretty standard career for a few years until she got to the point when her interest in corporate coaching and sleep patterns became too much to ignore. And she took the leap of faith, leaving her career in education in 2015 to start something new and inspiring. And since then with a huge amount of hustle, commitment, perseverance and of course struggle she has built her hugely successful business coaching successful and career driven women (and inspiring men) on how to get a solid nights’ sleep allowing them to wake up refreshed, with more energy, and ready to tackle their legacy and personal life. So how has she managed to do all this whilst still getting a good nights sleep herself? And is it as simple as learning to switch off form everything that needs to be done, or much more than that? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, the one and only, my favourite sleep expert ever Christine Hansen Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Christine Hansen such as: Why its so important for us all to find the best time to create our work. Do you need an early start, or work late. Its up to you to find the time that works. How focusing in on her spider senses is such an important way to operate in business, as more often than not the bad decisions full to the wayside. How she knew that her sleep business was a great idea simply by demand. Every business needs to solve a problem for people, so look around and find a solution. How sleeping is a habit that we can create, so we must look at everything we do on our way to bed to see if it is adding to the problem. and lastly…. How she feels that her job is a secret boyfriend in her life that her husband knows all about…and she want to run and spend time with it as much as she can.

Fun

Fun Fun. Fun is what we all want. And on todays show we discuss fun and how you can bring fun into your life, even when you think that there is no chance. You might be working in a factory. You might be working in a stuff office environment, when the last thing that the boss wants is you to have fun, when business needs to be dealt with. All of us want to have fun. But what does this mean, exactly? For some people, for example, fun is about getting wasted by taking drugs, drinking alcohol, or maybe just staying up very late at night. Fun is making the task you are doing as enjoyable as possible by being playful, creative and foolish. What we mean is fun is learning how to enjoy wherever you are and whatever you are doing, no matter how stupid it seems to be. This is a hard one for many people, but it is a key to having fun.   The idea is to make anything fun, no matter how weird or dumb it is, if you look at it right.   You don’t have to go anywhere, get drunk, or do anything like that to have fun.   That is the key here. You can be humorous, upbeat, positive and happy no matter what other people choose around you.   They can all be depressed and sad, and you can have a different attitude.   This creates fun in anyone, in any situation. You can see the humor.  You can see that people are strange, but not freak out or space out like most people do in this situation. Now, if someone or something is definitely making you very unhappy, then try to change the situation, go home, go away, do something else to change it as best you can. But for anything you do in life, you can certainly have fun and enjoy the process. And why, my friends I ask you would you not to do just that?

As the Beachboys said "And she had fun, fun, fun till her Daddy took the T-Bird Away!!

Podcasts are hot business at the moment. In fact podcasts have never been more popular and my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who not only is in the same game as me, but he has his fingers on the pulse of what is hot, what is good, and what in podcasting should be left as an idea and not actually brought out to the worlds ears.

He is the Head of Content at Spreaker, is former EVP/CTO at PodcastOne.com and former Content and Business Manager for Podcasts/TV at Microsoft’s Xbox Live and Zune.

He currently hosts the SpreakerLiveShow.com podcast Wednesdays at 3pm PST and co-hosts NewMediaShow.com/live Saturdays at 9am PST/Noon ES.

Which is of course very impressive, but even more so especially to someone like me is the fact that he is a veteran in the field, starting his  WebTalk World Radio Show in 1999, recognized as the first nationally syndicated radio program in the world to begin podcasting on Sept 15th, 2004. and has been working in the podcasting field since.

Now this is pre-google, pre-iTunes, and pre the world that we now take for granted.

He is a lover of the format of podcasting.

Is a master at his game.

And is focused on raising the standards of content creators across the world.

And if that isn't something to make you licks your lips and salivate what about this fact!

He is also a Guinness World Record Holder for creating the worlds largest glass of Florida Orange juice.

So what was it that really excited him about stepping behind the microphone and getting his words out to a world, that perhaps was not ready to consume content in such a way?

And is podcasting something that he sees as a great business model, or just a passing fad, waiting to join the Rubik cube, cabbage patch dolls, and the pet pebbles in the craze hall of fame?

Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Rob Greenlee

Show Highlights

During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Rob Greenlee such as:

Rob shares the steps that he took  to create his podcasting career, which led from a love of marketing to putting his words into the worlds ears.

Rob shares why so many podcasts struggle with gaining an audience that will reach out to them and gives tips how to build an engaged audience.

and lastly….

Fear, fear and more more fear is what we discuss with my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview.

He iss a man that i am proud to call a friend. Im not sure he would say the same about me, but I guess we will discover this through the show. He is the head honcho at Natural Born Coaches, where he supports, nurtures and sometimes gives a kick to coaches across the world who need a little help in building their businesses. And what I love about this guest, as you will see in the show it looks like he has really found his thing in life and looks like it was always on the cards. But as he says "After a decade of success in my past life (real estate,) I went through business closure and challenges that would have caused most to give up. How did I get back on track? With the help of coaches! After years of being a lone wolf, and being proud of “going it alone,” I experienced the power of coaching first-hand, and it really made a difference. So when I was ready to go back into business, I knew that I wanted to be a coach. I wanted to help others like I’d been helped. I dove in and became a coach, and discovered what every new coach learns when he gets into this business … it’s not easy! Jumping into the coaching business (for small business owners), he created the programs that he would use with his clients, established systems, printed business cards, launched his website, a blog, the social media, and waited for clients to start beating down his door. They didn’t! So he started prospecting harder every day. By reaching out to people in his target market, he got consultations and some clients (but too many that I was working with at discounted rates, or even worse, for free!). It was a frustrating situation. So when I finally got it rolling, I knew that I didn’t want other coaches to go through the same growing pains that I did." And now with his podcast rolling into the 500 plus episodes, and people now beating down his door for coaching advice, does he look back and think "Man, I made it truly hard for myself!" And what was the key that finally opened the door to get the whole things going? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots once more, with the one and only Mr Marc Mawhinney. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Marc Mawhinney such as: Why Marc feels that it is great to start building communities as soon as you possibly can, as its easy to do, very cheap, and builds connections like wildfire. Why there is a right way and wrong way to reach out to people, and the big two mistakes that Marc believes that everyone keeps on making. Keep Moving Forward is such a powerful mantra for life, for entrepreneurs and for anyone wanting a new future. There is nothing that will stop you 100% in your tracks...just keep moving forward. and lastly…. Why Marc feels that so many coaches need to get over their own personal fears and issues before they start marketing their own services to the world. You can't hide behind a glossy website if you haven't got your own act together.

Job Search time is hard. You know what you want to do, but nobody gives you the chance to do it. Which makes todays guest entrepreneur so inspiring. As in stead of keeping on the job search odyssey she went and built it herself. My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who has a background in a background in engineering, marketing and management. Which has lead to her creating a business around…. ill let you think about if for a little while……lead generation, personal branding, communications, public speaking, social media marketing, and digital marketing. Yeah you didn’t see that coming did you? And I guess neither did our guest today, but it is true to say that at her core she has creativity flooding through her veins As she says ” I was always an artist and writer at heart, but thought that when starting the job search marketing was the best way to make a living doing something that required creativity. After a few years working in an insurance company, I realized that the corporate environment wasn’t for me, and thats when I made tough decision to leave the comfort zone of my corporate job, forget about another job search and start my own business.” But her adventure had a rough start. There were many unknowns, including her ultimate job search mission. Which is the amazing part of what Join Up Dots has become for so many people across the world. It is where belief grows into action, and action grows into whatever you want for yourself. You cant see the real dream right at the very beginning, you just have to find out the vague direction that you want to go in, and then start walking. So how did our guest manage to meander her way through the obstacles and create something amazing for her, her clients and of course the world? And when she looks back does she have those “Man, what was I thinking…I could do it so much quicker now” thoughts? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Cloris Kylie Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Cloris Kylie such as: How life is built around moments and situations that are terrible and out of control, but you just cant get to where you want to be without them. Why you should be very aware of who you are working for, so that you can build products that are needed before creating them….make sure you fill the need before anything.. Why Cloris believes firmly that we should spend more time looking back on the progress of what we have achieved than beating ourselves up about what we need to do in the future. How she believes that in the early days she had a small mindset that needed to be shook up so that she could truly start to be the person that she was born to be. And lastly…. How without two horrible Managers (who are named on the show) she wouldn’t be in the position that she is today….thank you Managers, but you were still bad people!!!

A Job Search when you want to be inspired, happy and motivated can be hard, so why not stop the job search and build the dream yourself?

Faith, a faith a faith, you've got to have faith. Words supplied by the late and great George Michael, who told us all back in the eighties that no matter what we do in our lives we have to have faith. And that is what we talk about in today's episode of Join Up Dots Faith and most importantly having business faith. Let's get something straight right from the very beginning but when you start growing your business, so many people will tell you that its luck that you need. Yeah, you were so lucky that you found yourself in that position Oh, wow, how lucky was it that you went to that conference and met that business partner! Well let's get this clear when growing your business it's not about LUCK, It's about FAITH. How much do you have? Let me give you some examples of what I mean: * When we get on a plane we have the FAITH it is going to fly! * When we go to bed we have FAITH that in the morning there will be light! * When we leave our house we have the FAITH that it will be there when we return. 90% of our daily activities are solely based on our faith and belief. If we had no faith, we wouldn't even be able to get out of bed in the morning. Faith fuels our very being; yet when it come to getting clients and building our business it seems that there is a faith shortage. If we hold a workshop and one person shows, then we tell ourselves we have the wrong niche. If the first 10 people we speak to say no to our service, we convince ourselves that we hate marketing. Where is the faith? A good friend shared this wonderful analogy with me this weekend about business building... If am handed 10,000 oyster shells and told 10 have a million dollar pearl... I begin to open them. Phew. Oysters are hard to open. 1, 2, 3, 4...Ah. Sill no pearl. Shoot. 5, 6. I cut my hand. This is really hard. 7, 8, 9, 10. Still no pearl. So frustrating. This is a stupid idea. There are no pearls in any of these. I hate oysters. I don't even want a million dollars. And before you know it, there is no faith. Faith is tested when things get hard, when we are afraid, and when our perfectly laid plans aren't so perfect. True faith is continued belief in the face of adversity. True faith is when you have every single reason in the world to have NO faith, especially in business. So, here is how you hold on and keep faith the center of your business development: 1) Be clear about what you want. Faith wavers when it is uncertain what to claim. Claim what you want. 2) Stop being realistic. 3) Stop looking for the results. Not your job. They will come. Your job is faith, action, repeat. 4) Know that our faith will be constantly tested. You pass the test when you continue to believe.

Heath and business is what takes up my guests todays life. He is a man who classes himself as Part CEO, part personal development wonk and part biohacker info geek. Built from his background of businessman, television producer, filmmaker and author he would also class himself as 100% self-confessed serial entrepreneur,, He began his life journey in Colorado (via Wisconsin), where he studied marketing at the University of Colorado. He then graduated from Chadwick University with a BA in environmental studies, then went on to attend graduate school at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied intellectual property law. But it would seem to me that his life, at least where he was always heading started for earnest in 1999 when he started the health food business Steviva. Answering the need of food companies to manufacture products lower in sugar (and to adhere to new health based FDA disclosure guidelines), Steviva offers a wide range of industrial-size, high-quality clean-label sweetening systems for food manufacturers, plus smaller, pack-size sweetening options for health-conscious consumers. Through Steviva, our guests goal is to eliminate metabolic disease, one meal at a time. As he says "I founded Steviva Ingredients as a result of my passion for health, business, community service and environmental advocacy. My company was inspired by and follows the world renowned engineer, statistician, professor, author, lecturer, and management consultant Professor W. Edwards Deming's principles of constant improvement in product and customer service. My company ensures the highest possible standards for quality control and food safety. This drives everything we do." And isn't that how all success is made? Constant improvement over a period of time, leading to something amazing, rewarding and valuable to ourselves and the world. You start small, and work hard until the world starts to take notice. So was the entrepreneurial vibe born in him or constructed piece by piece by everyday of his working life? And living in a country that is known for its ample portions, sauces, relishes and other additions has it been easier to build his company, or more difficult because of the environment of food loving? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only, Mr Thom King. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Thom King such as: How he came to the realisation that he loves the moments of pain in his life, as this is the area of greatest growth. Thom shares an amazing story of how he came to find recognition from his father, something that he was so grateful for especially after his father passed away. Why he feels that so many people have a ceiling attached to their mindset which they could just blast through, as long as they look around and see what others are doing. and lastly…. Thom shares his childhood dreams of being in the entertainment industry, although he never truly felt it was possible. A mindset ceiling that he never truly managed to breakthrough.

First, to help dramatically shift the mindset of ladies across the world in how they see themselves, and your role as a mother, entrepreneur, wife, daughter, friend and more. Career advice is everywhere. But never will you find better than from todays career expert Rikki Hansen.

She is an expert in helping people from across the globe transition in their careers and find work that is amazing everyday.

Todays guest is a lady who can call herself a true lady of the globe. Coming originally from Denmark, she grew up in the Scandinavian countryside clambering around the hills and fjords happily, until moving to Paris for three years to live in the capital of romance and culture. But now she calls the UK home and has been living in London since 1996. Yep, we have adopted her as one our own. And she has appeared to flourish whilst living in London, as her career went from strength to strength, as she worked hard on a career in Human Resources for companies such as Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and Shell. But it is ok to have a career that is on the ascendency , well actually it’s a great thing, but when you have a career that is going well, but you want to do your own thing, then it can feel quite differently. And our guest knew that her path was going to change She had always wanted to start her own career change consultancy, so in 2005 did just that, and quit her well paid job to go it alone. She walked away from the consistent monthly salary, and started flexing her hustle muscle on a daily basis. And now as she says on her business site “I have a knack for quickly connecting with people and drawing them out thereby helping them understand how they can translate their unique personality, skills and interests into a career or business on their terms. Combining my experience of career coaching over 500 clients, 8 years+ of owning my own business and a background in HR, I can offer you the practical know-how, motivation and confidence to actually make your career change or business idea happen!” So lets find out how this Scandinavian lady came to leave the glorious Danish countryside, to live in the English Capital? And does she see a need for more and more assistance to be offered to wannabe entrepreneurs nowadays, than compared to when she started back in 2005? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Rikke Hansen. Show Highlights During the episode we discussed such weighty topics such as: Why she believes that so many people spend more time looking around them for answers than within themselves. How she feels that she isn’t different, nut more aware of who she should be….and that is a game changer. How you need to create a crack in your life to allow the passion in. Otherwise it wont stand a chance of finding you. Why Steve Jobs words are so true, and the world has become even more ziggy-zaggy than ever before. And lastly….. “Live your life like everything around you is rigged” is a great way to achieve what you want in life.

The 5 Stages of Happiness “One has to spend so many years in learning how to be happy.” – George Eliot Happiness is very intriguing, the reason why many philosophers who have gone before us have endeavored to explain it. Or why researchers like Jennifer Aaker has studied how we can calibrate what we think make us happy in five life- stages. Discovery during childhood and adolescence, pursuit in our mid-twenties, balance in our late twenties and early thirties, meaning in our late thirties and forties, and savoring from our fifties on. They say that our sense of happiness dynamically changes throughout life and to ever think at any stage that our progress is finished is a folly. Happiness is never static. Our contentment tells us how happy we are. And with changing wants and needs and varying levels of mental maturity, our happiness lies absolutely on us. Happiness is subjective. What made you happy before does not guarantee your happiness in the future. One must adapt and learn. And so in todays episode of Join Up Dots we talk about the five stages of happiness and how no matter what we think....happiness is a choice we make and it starts within in. So here are the five stages that we have gone through when we are at our happiest. 1: Try to remove all comparison from your life It is a killer in our search for happiness, that we spend so much time looking at what other people are doing on social media. And more often than not it's not true and they are only showing us the good stuff that they want us to to see. So don't worry about what other people are doing in their lives and just focus on your own stuff and believe me you will be so much more happy. 2: Free from your heart from hatred A happy heart is a loving heart, and the world will want us to fill it with hatred and anger, Someone cuts you up in your car, and then blames you with a rude finger gesture. Someone makes some cheeky comment that they thought was a joke, but you didn't like. Well to be happy in our lives we have to look at forgiving these things and just accepting everything for what it was. A moment of turmoil in your life and not worth dragging around for a second more of what its worth,....and thats nothing. 3: Live Simply Happiness and living happy can come together so much more quickly if we just look at removing ourselves from lives stresses. Do we need the car that has the monthly repayments or the cable tv that we hardly ever watch? Do we need to go out for meals twice a week, and then have a huge credit card bill each month to pay off? Probably not, and happiness can come together quite quickly when we decide to focus on the things that make us happy, dont cost a lot and are simple. It could be sitting in the garden with some friends, instead of going out in the evening to the pub. It could be just going to the movies, but not spending a fortune on cokes, popcorn and food as well. You will be amazed at how much you are spending that doesn't truly make you happy. Its just something that you are doing each month, day or week. Live simply and let happiness come to you. 4: Give More There is a truth in life that giving a present makes us happier than receiving. It's the giving that makes all the difference. So when was the last time that you did something for someone else, just to make them happy? Probably quite awhile ago, as we are so wrapped up in our own lives doing what we need to do first and foremost. So lets start looking for happy in our lives 5: Expect Less If you can operate in a world, where you accept what life is bringing you, instead of setting such high goals that disappointment is always lurking then the happier you will be. This is the truth, and it doesnt matter who you are, or what you have achieved in life...happiness is never connected with an outcome. We think it is, but that is wrong. So do your best, enjoy yourself and realise that whatever happens, it is exactly what you was supposed to be getting.

Compound Effect is so amazingly powerful, and ,my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who uses it daily. He overcame adversity, lost nearly 100 pounds, ran a marathon, dramatically changed his diet and created an approach to help others live a better life, every day. He calls it the Do a Day method and through his book flying off the shelves of Amazon and other good book stores, and his thriving online business he now shows us the steps to doing this. Changing our lives by small, doable steps, leading to overcoming the impossible, instead of tackling huge challenges head on which just wear us out. Now this wasn't a process that was obvious to our guest right from the start, although it is true that although ingrained in the corporate world, he has certainly had a foot in the entrepreneurial motivational camp right from the start Leaving Bowdoin College with an AB in Economics, Chinese and Philosophy, he started work as a Senior Associate Consultant at Liberty Mutual, before going back to school to get an MBA in Business. From then on he tackled many different positions for a multitude of companies leading to holding the Executive Vice President Head of Claims for Hiscox Insurance down in Atlanta. And you can see the ambition clearly as he climbed quickly the corporate ladder. all the time balancing the work ethic with keeping his personal and physical side on an even keel. He has faced challenges in life, such as obesity, depression, work stress, the responsibilities of parenthood, the potential of losing his wife to illness, and more. And he struggled, like anyone else. But as we see on Join Up Dots every-time, through that struggle, he learned the secret to not just overcoming any individual challenge, but creating a life of achievement, happiness and harmony. Do a Day will free you of the burden and judgement of yesterday‘s choices, while relieving you of the pressure of what tomorrow may bring. By teaching you how to identify your true motivation and how to use that to focus on what you have to do today, Do a Day will help you change your life. So is he now 100% entrepreneurial of does he see a combined approach to his workload going forward? And what has been the biggest learning from living the life that he has had so far? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Bryan Falchuk. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Bryan Falchuk such as: How he has managed to juggle so many things in his life, to get his business running, even whilst working a fulltime job. Why Bryan never gives answers to someones problems, as he is a great believer that the individual has to work out the answers himself. We discuss why it is so hard for anyone to kick start their lives, as they really have to dig down and understand their own personal self value first. and lastly…. Bryan shares an amusing story about a veggie burger that emphasises that no matter how a life seems from the outside, people still have to deal with the little annoyances.

Book publishing is really hot at the moment with many people trying to find th book publishing fastrack to Amazon success.

Well my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is Julie Broad, a lady spinning many different plates at one time. And I guess that is when a entrepreneur really comes into their own and this guest does it better than most with the ability to both diversify in the subjects that they are passionate about. She is an Amazon #1 Best Selling Author and International Book Award winner, recipient of the Top 20 under 40 award for Vancouver Island, a successful entrepreneur, recognized real estate investor and a popular speaker and workshop trainer. She’s been speaking on stages large and small across Canada since 2009, sharing her simple and strategic systems for having more impact & influence in your life and business. She is also a regular contributing writer for Canadian Real Estate Wealth’s Magazine. But once gain as we have seen recently on Join Up Dots, where she really comes into her own is by having the ability to tell stories that converts information into sales. She’s an expert on helping people who aren’t naturally born to sell, get results, make an impact and ultimately make more money (for their company and for themselves!). Sharing proven techniques for better communication, productivity and persuasion, She always leaves people inspired, excited and with clear steps to take action immediately. So out of all the things that fill her time what would be the one that she feels really pulls it all together and become her personal brand? Book publishing or her coaching business. And I suppose the big question as we have her on the show, is what does she find is the number one thing that holds people back from finding similar success? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Julie Broad Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Julie Broad such as: How she discovered that people do not want perfection from coaches and speakers, but they do want people that they can relate to on a personal level. Why she made the bold decision to leave the job that she had worked so hard to create, due to discovering that it wasn't the money that she really wanted in her life How she started creating her new business and the steps she has taken to bring it to the world, (and the people who need it most) and lastly…. Why selling doesn't need to be hard, and in fact working on the basis of "Not fit" can sometimes encourage results like never before.

Book publishing has never been easier

Fitness is the buzz word in todays world. Are you looking after your fitness? Are you planning on getting fit? Well today’s guest joining us on the Join Up Dots Steve Jobs inspired podcast is a lady who has made very happy. As this is the second time I have had the pleasure of grilling her on the show, as she last appeared back on episode 208, where we talked about her rise to the top of the fitness industry from a starting point that was more than a bit unusual. Yep, that’s all i’m saying, so you will have to go back and listen to that one to find out her unusual past occupations. So when she connected with me again and said “David, have I got more dots to share with you and your listeners” then I knew it was going to be good stuff. And it as this is a lady that is tackling one of the hardest fitness courses the world has scene “The Spartan Ultimate Team Challenge” created by Jo De Sena who also appeared on the show back on episode 312 And the big question to this desire to get down, muddy and sweaty is why? Is fitness that important? She is a beautiful lady, has a great business that is rocking and rolling, has clients across the world, and could stay in her comfort zone quite happily. But she doesn’t want to. She wants to prove herself and go after bigger and bigger challenges, which really joins up the dots to our first interview. As this is not your usual uber glamorous fitness guru. But this is a lady will drive, commitment and passion to do the unusual. To create her own path, And to go to bed each night content to know that she has given it her very best. So what was the appeal of going onto the hit TV show “Spartan Ultimate Challenge”? And did she discover things about herself that were a complete surprise, or only cement what she already knew? Mastery leads to operating on a higher level than anyone, and will ultimately lead to amazing things in our lives. The more we become experts in our chosen specific areas of interest, the more we can market our talents to others and reap the huge rewards that mastery brings. But of course there are very few people in the world that are willing to go this extra mile to become masters in their field. Think about Michael Jordan, David Beckham, Steve Jobs or any famous person you can think off, and there will have been hours and hours of secret practice. The times when no one was around to witness their additional work. The times when all their colleagues are either partying, resting or just doing the minimum to get by. And that isnt how life works. You need to be willing to suffer for your trade. You need to be willing to find time in your life to work on something, even if it is late at night or early in the morning. So when was the last time that you put in more work than you possibly thought was possible to hit true mastery in your life? If you are having trouble thinking of this mastery then there is a good chance that you have never done this. Thanks for listening and hope to hear from you again soon.

Digital Marketing is needed by all businesses, and my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a a lady who is shining a light into the sky that screams to the world "I am here to help, let us do what we are good at!" She is the co-founder of Scoop industries a company focused on growing your services and business with simple strategies for sustainable success. Which sounds very impressive, but when you hear that she grew her digital marketing business from $0 to $200,000 in less than two years, then Im sure that you will be taking out your pen and paper and making some serious notes. After leaving the Indiana University Bloomington with a BA in Pyschology, Management and Spanish, it wasn't obvious that she would now be the co-founder of her own rocking and rolling digital company. Instead she did what most entrepreneurs do at the beginning, and she got a job, in her case with The Neilson Company, performing numerous roles over a four year period, before it seems an usual turn in her career path occurred when she joined Corepower Yoga for another few years. However it was in the midst of this, career detour when it seems to me the first of her dots leading to where she is today truly appeared She joined Catalina Marketing in Chicago where she was brought on to help start up a new digital media division, helping product, marketing, sales and internal finance and billing teams, create a new process for a new online, video, and mobile product. And now with Scoop Industries digital marketing she is bringing all the skills gained over the last ten years into one place and rocking it big-time. So what was the biggest learnings she brought with her, that made such a difference to the success of Scope? And looking back did she need a business partner to help her get it off the ground, or was this just another piece of growing into an entrepreneur business owner? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Brittany Becher. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Brittany Becher such as: How she remembers growing up in a place that she couldnt wait to leave, and the reasons why she has now returned. Brittany shares how she met her business partner, and how she came to realise that this was the lady that would work perfectly with her - even though they live in different countries. Why she spent nine months planning out how the business was going to work with her partner going forward - which was so smart and saved months of difficulties. and lastly…. Why it is so important to be aware of those moments of your life when excitement appears in your stomach. Reflect on why you are feeling that way as there are clues to a new future.

Millionaires, and being a millionaire is a group that most of us wish we could be a part of. Well. my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who has quite the ride to where he is now, as an author, business owner and on a mission to help the world shift their mindset to one of abundance. Get us all to be millionaires His early days were not as anyone would want for a child growing up. A survivor of a childhood riddled with domestic violence and alcoholism in the rural foothills of southern Virginia, he worked hard to throw of the mental chains that had covered him, to become the millennial CEO and founder of executive consulting firm, Excel Global Partners (EGP) and the Fund Managing Principal of the EGP Family of Companies. It has taken grit and persistence to get his award-winning firm, Excel Global Partners, to the position where it has served multi-billion dollar and mid-market clients in 20 states and in more than 16 countries across the world. But as we say this wasn't just a case of someone deciding to do things in a different way and then magic occurring. He has to master his habits, routines, and consciousness to train his mindset to shift from the poverty consciousness that he learned as a child to an abundance consciousness as an adult– and by doing so, became a multimillionaire. Today, he is having more fun than ever living the life of a purposeful millionaire with global reach. But this is probably the bit that I Love most about his story. For almost a decade, he quietly grew his business and his own personal development before ever setting out to coach or motivate anyone else, which believe me in today's world of "Hey i've just quit my job and now I'm a coach...come work with me", rarely ever happens. His book, The Purposeful Millionaire, is a best-selling guidebook of 52 rules that teaches people about mastering the millionaire mindset and getting the most out of life–doing more, living more, and achieving more! So is it the traumas in life, like the near drowning incident whilst kayaking the things that have taught him so much, or the everyday occurrences that most people just ignore, as well....living life? And where could he imagine being today if he hadn't started working on what was going on inside, before ever trying to master the world outside? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Mr James Nowlin Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with James Nowlin such as: James shares how he has managed to get to his life to an eight on the happiness scale, and the steps he has taken to live this on a daily basis. James recalls how he had finally started to get the success once he had grasped that he had to learn more o then earn more. Self development is key for the progress he wanted. Why James believes that structuring your day with routines, gratitude and fitness regimes to really set yourself up for success in your business. So many people fail as they let themselves walk headfirst into burnout instead of doing the right work inside. and lastly…. Why pivoting in ones life is the key to gaining success. Nobody can expect to gain a foot on the right path straight out of the gate. But try things and you will find the thing that feels right.

World Travel and adventure is what many people crave in their lives, and so It’s with great delight that we bring onto the show today a man who had a similar background to myself. He began his career in the City Of London as a broker, and after a period of time knew that his time had come, to go after what lights him up inside. In fact it was a lot worse than that, as he actually became chronically depressed and knew that he had to do something about the way his life was going. And wow didn’t he do just that, as now he is a global adventurer, motivational speaker & philanthropist. He gave up this image of corporate success for a life on the road, which came about after being inspired by the movie The Motorcycle Diaries. The days of living and working behind his ‘slab of wood’ were well and truly over. His new passion: Finding ways for your inner rebel (that voice that tells you, you are worth so much more than you think) to come out and play.Adventure, adventure, adventure, As he says “The inner rebel tells you that your life is yours. And anything you dream of is possible. Anything. And that the fuel for all this delicious potential is simple: Kindness and harnessing the power of human connection. And. Doing it all with a smile on your face and a spring in your step!” So how did he take that first step when so many people would have thought that he had cracked it already? And does he look back at his past life, and know that this was just one of his dots that he had to go through to get to where he is today? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the inspirational Leon Logothetis. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics as: How all his friends and family thought he was crazy just to throw it all up in the air and go after his dream, but he just knew that he had to do it. How the first journey that he took was travelling across America on just $5.00 dollars a day travelling from New York to Hollywood, connecting with the world. How he was taught by a homeless guy in Pittsburg that wealth isn’t in your wallet, but what is truly in your heart. How he nearly died whist driving a car across Romania, and could hear the words of Churchill “Never Give Up, Never Give Up, Never Give Up” And lastly…….. How he likes nothing more than jumping into a swimming pool, naked (and sometimes with a load of other people too….don’t tell your Mum!)

Strengths and playing to them are key to what makes a successful life. My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who you might mistake for Superwoman and if you do, you won’t be alone. She is regularly featured on television news segments, inside major blogs and publications, and on podcasts from all over the globe. She’s an accomplished Success Coach, Speaker, host of the Maximize Your Strengths podcast, as well as published Author of the hot new book; From Frustrated to Frickin’ Awesome: 4 Steps to Achieve the Success You’re Wired For. But more than anything else she’s an exceedingly proud wife and mother of two, who loves helping others discover how to make their businesses and relationships thrive in harmony. But this was as far from her starting point as you can possibly imagine. Graduating from St Catherine University with a post baccalaureate certificate in Nursing, she entered into the medical profession as a Clinical Dietitian and Registered Nurse before a four year stint as a beauty consultant for Mary Kay So from my viewpoint, she has always had a nurturing side to her character, wanting people to look and feel as good as they can right from the outset. And so you can see that where she is now, is as far away as she could be, but also very similar in concept, she has found a way to maximise her strengths, provide more value to the world and enjoy herself in the process. As she says “While I’ve always been interested in self-development, in the last 9 years, I dove into investment in my training, self-improvement, and coaching. In addition to classroom style learning, I’ve gained valuable knowledge from seminars, home-coaching programs, group-coaching programs, one-on-one coaching relationships, books, self-study, and real-life successes and failures. My clients benefit from all of that education and experience wrapped into one business coach!” So people you find what you want to do naturally, your unique strength, up-skill yourself and then solve the problems of others in that area. Seems simple doesn’t it? So if this is the blueprint for success, why do so many people struggle with finding their way through the pain and scarcity to make a success of their lives? And when was the moment when she sat bolt upright in bed and screamed “Erueeerka I know what I should be doing in my life!!” Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Alissa Daire Nelson Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Alissa Daire Nelson such as: Why getting to know yourself is so vitally important if you ever want to be the greatest version of yourself that you can possibly be. Why Alissa feels that there is always another devil in another level and it doesnt matter where you are on the journey there are scary times ahead. Why masterminds are so uber powerful and an extremely cost effective way to keep you on track and focused on the right results. and lastly…. Why stability in ones life is so familiar and comfortable, and why all entrepreneurs have moments of thinking “Wouldn’t it be easier just to get a job?”

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who rise to the top has been nothing short of remarkable. He went from a full-time insurance agent 4 years ago to building an e-commerce business that sold $20 million of physical products in 2016. What is astonishing is he did this WITHOUT using Amazon, eBay, or Shopify, and with nothing more than simple two-page ClickFunnels websites that use carefully optimized sales funnels. If you think that entrepreneurs are born more than made you could well be right. Our guest got his start in entrepreneurship with a pool cleaning business at 16, and has done everything from selling tea, to selling hundreds of thousands of dollars of t-shirts on Teespring, and to now selling 10,000 units per month across 20 different physical product lines. Today, he has built up an email list of 1.1 million subscribers and 300,000 buyers, and is selling the largest volume out of 50,000 ClickFunnels users. In addition to his eight-figure business selling physical products, his passion is helping and mentoring others to have the same success in e-commerce that he has had. But of course you need to have a direction right at the beginning, and then overcome the heartaches, stumbles and falls that knock so many people away from success like this. So was he just extremely lucky and didn't have any of these? Or is he a guy that believes that persistence overcomes luck and talent everyday of the week? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Trey Lewellen Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Trey Lewellen such as: Try shares a story of his early struggles, and reveals how he would have loved to be able to have reached out and found a mentor way before he found the man for him. Trey shares a powerful story of how the value of money has never changed for him, even when he earnt £117,000 he still appreciated what it took for the normal man to earn similar. Why flying across the world is so inspiring to Trey, as it brings into focus the complete abundance that we all have on offer to us everyday. and lastly…. Why people feel secure in the job that they do, even though they could lose it the next day. This is madness, and a side hustle should be on everyones schedule for protection.

Morale in companies can be a huge problem and myy guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who currently runs a company called “Humans Working”, focused on 1-on-1 coaching with executives and managers; team-based (or even company-wide) workshops; and ongoing support, to help companies build loyalty and create environments that people love working in. A concept that is born within the Join Up Dots story that we will bring to you today. In 1997, when he was 24, he started an Internet software consulting company. While he knew that it’d be fun to create software in the early days of the Internet, his primary goal when starting the company was to create a fun atmosphere — a clubhouse if you will — that people would love coming to every day. They had a successful business for four years, not breaking any records, but they were profitable, provided very competitive salaries, great benefits, and a really fun atmosphere. Can all good things last? Well of course we hope that will always be the case, but in the case of our guest it wasn’t to be (at least not in the short term) After four years, their biggest client, because their promised second round of funding didn’t materialize, went out of business. With no money in the company bank account, less than $500 to his name, and a payroll of $40,000 due in 2 days, it was clearly time to shutter the doors. He summoned the team (of 10 guys at the time) to the conference room, and with tears, told them that I loved them, that we’d had a great run, but it was time to go home. And that is where we will start todays show, as there is nothing like a good cliffhanger to hook you from the start. So is it wise to look at the environment before anything else or is this going to lead to less productive, professional staff? And what was the biggest learning that he has taken away from the journey so far? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Naphtali Visser Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Naphtali Visser such as: How he managed to negotiate an amazing raise for all his employees when in fact the majority of the market place were looking for redundancies. Why Naf is a big exponent of the quiet mind. A problem will never resolve it self by thinking too much about the problem. Let the answer come to you. Why creativity is a major part of building amazing morale changes within a company, as long as we allow for mistakes to occur naturally. Allow staff to feel they are part of the business and not just employees. and lastly…. And relax, stay calm and allow things to happen naturally in your life. Relaxed action is always the best way to achieve greatness.

Mindset expert Andy Murphy is my guest today on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who can call himself a global mindset coach, with clients across the world who seek him out to help them go to the next level. From entrepreneurs, world champions, professional sports athletes, multi-millionaire business owners, TV and film producers, TV and stage actors, trauma survivors and even Royal Family have all benefited from his mindset skills. But what fascinates me, is coming from Liverpool he would have found himself surrounded with friends and families who are just looking to get by. He would have been on a path like so many of us that is almost expected. Study hard, leave school, get a job, start a family….you get the drift. But our guest didn’t do that, instead he left everything behind and traveled to Sydney Australia, where he discovered the mindset Neuro Linguistic Programming in a sales and marketing environment. Breaking multiple sales records whilst helping clients successfully structure and invest in real-estate and at the top of the business in Australia, he was head-hunted to New Zealand. There he began to share his skills with CEO’s and again being in high demand was prospected to many companies, helping them develop their sales teams and set up internal departments. At the age of only 26 he opened a company developing a project to build a 100 Million dollar resort in the Fiji Islands. After marketing the company over in Dubai along side multi billion dollar developments the global real-estate industry began to slow down and he had a decision to make. After so much success would he batten down the hatches and go into survival mode? Or would he do the unexpected and get bigger, opening his arms wide and screaming “Come on world its me, just watch what I can do!” Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Andy Murphy Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Andy Murphy such as: How he overcome his difficulties and fought back from depression and bankruptcy as a young man in Dubai. How he recalls that school taught him nothing but martial arts taught him everything. How his Father taught him from an early age to focus on the worse case scenario then you are prepared. Why it is that so many successful people spend time on their own to allow themselves to focus on the future. and lastly…. How everyday he knows that he is going to have to deal with being scared due to pushing forward into the unknown,

Marketing can be a huge problem for so many businesses, but not anymore with this guy around. My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a guy who first appeared on Join Up Dots way back on episode 107 Back then we spoke about his fascinating journey to where he is today known as The Millionaire Marketing Mentor®, the go-to guy for coaches, consultants, and other successful service professionals who want to attract more clients, convert more high-value sales, build an authority brand, and grow a lifestyle business that makes a bigger impact while generating more income. But life could have been very different, as starting his life in Poland, it was fair to say that he has come a long way since then, both Geographically and financially. Arriving in the United States of America with just $194.00 dollars in his pocket and a sprinkling of English, he set to work with a passion. The entrepreneurial bug has always been a keen element which makes him who he is, so it was with little surprise, but a lot of hard work that he transformed his finances by creating a series of business opportunities around California. First of all he co-owned a collection of bagel shops, and then moved onto running a multi-million dollar business that includes consulting, coaching, training, and information publishing. But there was of course so many stumbles, falls and triumphs between them. Isn’t that what makes a story interesting after all, and of course gives him the knowledge to help his clients and students often double, triple, and even 10x their business - some in as little as 90 days, by teaching them how to transform their limiting, time-intensive businesses into automated money making machines that Attract Clients Like Crazy®. So with his life now rocking and rolling, could he only have got here by going through the roller-coaster that is the entrepreneurial life? And how did he manage to keep going, when things weren't going the way that he wanted? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Adam Urbanski. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Adam Urbanski such as: The best marketing is to find a way of tapping into your natural talents and bringing that to the world. It's not selling, but its making people want to work with you. Adam shares how he has developed his ability to connect with people across the world, and feels that its the empathy which is a key aspect to what he has become. Why the upskilling and grind phase of building is so important, as it shows you how much you truly want to make this business your life. and lastly…. Adam reveals how his mindset has changed over the last few years and the time aspect that comes with freedom is so attractive to him, where money used to be king.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is lady with many different plates spinning at one time. She is an internet business lawyer whose mission is to show business owners like us how to cover our "assets" online without having to spend a lot of money on legal fees. As the founder of Cover Your Assets Online.Com she has created a Do It yourself Legal Toolkit so that entrepreneurs could protect not only their business assets but their homes, cars and investments Which is all interesting stuff, but what has lead her to this point Well her first career was as a TV news reporter and anchor in Toronto, where she won a couple of CanPro awards as well as a New York Film Festival award for news documentary, which delved into the topic of adoption. When her husband’s career took them to the U.S, she decided to switch careers and follow her long time dream of going to law school. She applied to the Roger Williams School of Law, which was 20 minutes from her house in Providence, RI. and practised for several years and then decided she wanted to be a coach. So internet laywer, business coach how do these things join up together. Well, i suppose at her heart she is a fixer. She loves to see an issue and bring a solution to the table As she says "I became a coach at the age of six, when I saw my parents fighting for the first time. I remember thinking, ‘I can fix this, if they would just listen to me.’ As an attorney, I always wanted to help people fix their lives so they wouldn’t need to hire me again. As a TV news reporter, I was always drawn to the personal interest stories. I’m a big sap, but I’ve come to believe that I have a duty to get my ass to Happy and have learned how to do that. I was born to help others do the same, to get up off their asses to live lives that are on fire (instead of being burnt out). So where shall we start today, talking about how to get happy, confident, or internet law......well in a normal fashion I think we will tackle all of them! So why is internet law so obviously a hot topic but so few people are offering this service? And is she living the life of her dreams, or with so much going on is she running around screaming "People, I can't do it all on my own!?" Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Lin Eleoff Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Lin Eleoff such as: She reveals how she has had to have times of darkness in her life, to allow her to savour the light more than she could ever hope to. Why she always has had the urge to create her own rules, and do things her own way even though she doesn't understand why she does it.. How she managed to create her first business, by searching the world of virtual law firms to find what excites her. And then taking huge consistent action. and lastly…. Why so many people lose their confidence during their life journey, and more often than not its down to them playing by others rules, and not their owns.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is an guy who has a title that I have never used before on any show But it is one that I wish that I had come up with, as he has been called the Gay White Oprah which is a fantastic name. But how has he come to receive such an accolade you maybe asking? Well my listeners it can be put down to one thing, or maybe two things. The ability to be himself, and the ability to know how to connect with others. You see all business success is based on these two characteristics, and it seems that our guest has them in abundance. As he says “I am the type of guy that can meet you and within two minutes have you spilling your heart out” So it’s with little surprise, that after receiving his Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 2009, he has been taking this ability to open the hearts of whoever he talks to by helping people everywhere with his weekly advice podcast “The Dear Mattie Show” where he discusses relationships, sex, fear, friends, job, and even makeup in an inspiring and entertaining format. But if you are thinking that this is just another normal type of life-coach guest that you see all over the shop, then think again. He is also a singer; received a undergrad in Opera Performance from the University of North Texas, has been active in the project Get Empathy, a campaign to build a national movement to stop bullying in schools. Communication Director for Brave Trails, supporting Gay, Lesbian and Trans-Gender folk to become thought leaders in their fields, and a stand-up comic and producer. So with all these different experiences and knowledge, is there a chance that he could get lost with himself and dilute whatever he considers his god given super power? And when he get someone to start talking does he every think…”Ok, Ok, I think this was a bad idea? This person just wont shut up?” Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Matt Marr.

It's a truth that so many people will speak, or at least they convince themselves that it is a truth. "That if it was that easy then everyone would be doing it" They say those words when they dont want to put themselves into the position to fail, and so cling onto this truth as a comfort blanket against failure. So is it easy to become an entrepreneur? Is it easy to create a business from scratch so that you can sit on the beach with a cocktail or two and simply watch your bank account increase exponentially? No not at all, and there is certainly a good deal of pain in making something amazing happen There’s a lot of lip service paid to the value of going the extra mile, doing a little more, over-delivering and a host of other tired old expressions. There isn’t a whole lot of discussion on the value of suffering, which trumps all the other aforementioned areas combined. If you want to achieve something outstanding and get results you never got before, you’re going to have to suffer. You will have to go against your inner voice that tells you to hold back, stay in the routine you’re comfortable with and play it safe. Do you have to suffer every single moment? Absolutely not. But make no mistake about it, to get from where you are to where you want to be you’re going to have to suffer. To get what you’ve never gotten before you must do what you’ve never done before. And doing what you’ve never done before often is somewhere between uncomfortable and downright painful. So if you ever hear someone say the words to you "If it is that easy then everybody would be doing it" just smile at them and know that they will be saying those very same words for the rest of their lives. That comfort blanket is very hard to throw off once you have started wrapping it around you.

Life design is all the rage nowadays, and my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man with an amazing story of taking life by the scruff of the neck and turning full circle to where he wanted to be. As he says "After failing to get much of an education I set up an online business, selling books. This fuelled my passion for all things literary but the business failed. In order to pay the mortgage I started work stacking supermarket shelves at night. During the day I made a career plan to turn things around. In late 2004 I joined the still relatively young online gambling industry, working in a call centre. 5 years later I co-founded a company (which I subsequently sold) and went on to manage operations in the UK, Central and Eastern Europe. From 2013 to 2016 I was CEO of SKS365 Group. I am now a full time consultant, investor & advisor in one or two startups and, more importantly, I am embarking on a career as a writer, writing about mountains and the outdoors. In other words I am following my passion." And this is what makes him the perfect guest for a show like Join Up Dots, as in late 2016 he quit the rat race to redesign his life in a way that was more satisfying, interesting and adventurous both in his personal and professional life. He didn't know how to accomplish the large and vague objective of "living better", although he knew it meant being more entrepreneurial and spending more time outdoors! So he embarked on a career writing about mountains, adventure and his journey of redesigning his life and through his website the Armchair mountaineer he is showing all of us how to take control of our lives. So is it as simple as making a firm decision to do something, even if you haven't got all the dots lined up and doing it? Or did he plan everything out so he could make this the life that he has always wanted, and is so inspiring to the rest of us? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Thomas Smallwood. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Thomas Smallwood such as: How he managed to get the plan in place to be able to transition his life to where he wanted it to be, even if it meant doing stuff that wast part of the plan. Why it is so important to overcome the fear of reaching out to people who are ahead of you in their dream building (ensuring always that you provide value first) Why Thomas believes that you should rarely start anything that you want to make money as a first goal, instead work on the passion and see where it takes you. and lastly…. How no matter where you are in your journey of transition you will be hit by periods of doubt and lack of self confidence. Surround yourself with positive people to hep you through the bad times.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who I am delighted to have on the show. The reason why should be quite clear as we speak to her. Join Up Dots has always been about letting you the listener grow the confidence to tackle all obstacles head on. Smash doors in walls where there was no chance of escaping and living the life that you deserve. Well today’s guest is doing all that and more. She was a student at The College of New Jersey, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, before starting in 2016––a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from The College of New Jersey. Which of course is impressive but not remarkable. However added to the fact that she was born with an eye disorder called, Cone Dystrophy, which has now progressed to the state where she is blinded by all lights, you can see that she has a powerful mindset to achieve. My mission in life is to continue to help spread awareness about mental and physical disabilities and with her book Now I See: How I Battled Blindness, Mental Illness, an Espresso Habit and Lived to Tell the Tale flying off the shelves it looks like things are going the right way after all. So when she was first diagnosed with her condition did she understand instantly how it would change her life? And how has she overcome the depression and mental issues that could have had her hiding away in the dark, instead blazing brightly across the world? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mariagrazia Buttitta . Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Mariagrazia Buttitta such as: How she can now see that her eye condition has become a true blessing in her life, and has literally taken her life in a new direction. Why life can be so difficult due to the comments and opinions of others. They base their comments on what “They Think” is possible and can often limit us in our own adventures. and lastly….

Fancy a bit of housesitting to earn some money? Well it’s an absolute delight to have on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview, two ladies who literally bound around the world like some excited Labradors. And believe me that might not sound like a compliment, but it certainly is. As the two of them have had some huge setbacks in life, but haven’t allowed them to lose their spirit for life, and their desire to create adventure in their relationship. After originally meeting in 2010 at a course in Sydney, called ‘The Quest for Truth’ it became evident that the quest for truth, was going to be linked with their love of travel. A few years back, after leaving Australia, they entered into a business opportunity in Dubai, which of course they thought would be a good move, but turned out to be anything but. Or so hey would have thought at the time, but as we see literally everyday on Join Up Dots, the darkest times in our lives become the moments where we find our true paths. Left with literally nothing, they had to reassess what they wanted to do, and how they wanted to do it….with the caveat of making it as cheap as possible. With a mere $300 in their pockets they decided to start travelling through house-sitting as a way to save money on the rent they could no longer afford. They figured if they could save themselves rent and utility bills for six months or so, they could get back on our feet… and then go and do something they really wanted to do, which of course would involve travel. But actually they had found it already, and now are the creators of the international housesitting community, where they share their knowledge and experience with anyone who has that desire for the nomadic lifestyle….which I think most of us have at one time or another. So do they look back at Dubai, and go “Do you know that was truly the making of us…we wouldn’t change a thing!” And do they believe that within all of us is a business that can be built purely on our passions, leading to a life that we love? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start Joining Up Dots with the one and only, Nat & Jodie Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Nat & Jodie such as: How they have no dreams to settle down and love the thrill of what the future holds for them every time they open their eyes. How they compliment each other strengths perfectly with one being thoughtful and the other being gung-ho. How they both feel that nowadays a job is nowhere near as secure as getting out there and building a business based on passion. And lastly…. How they had no plans at all when they started the housesitting community, but have built it all by trial and error…which we all can do.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a startup expert who has worked so hard to where he is today, he has more lessons learned before the age of 30 than most people aged…well 30. He is proof that hard-work and determination pay off’s as he climbed the ladder of the restaurant industry as many do: with a great deal of empathy, a little bit of luck, and a massive amount of overconfidence. After graduating from Harvard in 2009, he worked his way up from being a busboy in Boston to being a beverage director for Momofuku in New York City, where he managed the buying, pricing, and selling of wine, beer, and spirits for the restaurant. Through living through this experience, he decided that he wanted to have more ownership of the guest experiences he was creating, so he took to Chicago to see how Booth could help him open his own restaurant. While attending Booth, our guest met his business partner, Hunter Swartz, and the two quickly realized that their shared background in endurance sports mixed with complementary work experiences could build something remarkable. He then joined the Eastman Egg team in January 2014 and served as COO for three years where in his time there, the company grew to four operating units and grew its revenues and team each by a factor of 10. And now he is also the author of the latest book to fly off the shelves with “What I Learned Before 30 – a biographical look that captures some of the best, and worst, moments of his life. As it says in the intro “I feel like i’ve finally learned that growing up to have different perspective than my parents was not a failure; it was the whole point. I cant wait to use the next 30 years to celebrate what makes us different, rather than resent it, and enjoy what a diverse, unique and wonderful family we are” So, said in another way, he has found the path in life that is the right one for him...creating startup guides for people to follow, and although others may not understand it makes no difference. And that is where we should all be, walking boldly into our own future and not one that has been constructed by the idealism of anyone else. So will there be a what I learned before sixty book coming up, and does he feel that mistakes are the true gift in life? And what does he enjoy doing most in his life, as he certainly has many things per day that could take up his time? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only startup man, Mr Drew Davis.

Small business mastery takes a while to achieve, and my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man with a personal motto that if you don't understand it as a business owner...then you should. Measure, Motivate, and Manage. He has extensive working knowledge regarding all aspects of operating a successful in-home service business, including (but not limited to) sales and marketing, recruitment, systematising, and human resources. He has helped numerous business owners revitalize their companies and become true business owners, not just operators. And this is the key element to it all....why is it that so many people create a business that actually runs them instead of the other way around? You don't set off on a path that you hope will lead to longer hours, more stress and headache after headache. It's all about walking on beaches, relaxing with friends and living the dream. And today's guest is most certainly living the dream now, but that wasn't always the case. He has been where you are. Working long hours, with his life supporting his business. Unable to step away from the day to day operation for fear of it disappearing in front of him. So how has he managed to switch off the life support system and see the business breath and flourish without him? And are their common issues that people almost have to go through to achieve the success that they want? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Justin Deese. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Justin Deese such as: Why so many people feel that in the early days of their business they can outwork their issues, but this is never the case and ultimately can bring even greater issues. How Justin felt when the business was growing too big for him. Did he have the skills to manage it? Could he handle the extra workload? All 100% imposter syndrome. How he has managed to create a business that is transportable, and is demonstrating that as he drives around America with his family in an RV. Why he wont do anything in his life that he doesn't love. no matter how lucrative it can be for him and his family. and lastly…. Why it is so important to have a vision of what you want in your life, not necessarily just in your business, as soon as you start working on building the dream.

Lies, Lies, Lies everywhere. That is how it seems sometimes in life. My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who connected with the show by email, asking to appear. And believe me, we get so many of them nowadays that sometimes you don't give them quite the focus that perhaps you should. This wasn't the case with today's guest who hit us with "I've lived in the South Pole for 13 months! My life is an ongoing adventure with worldly experiences including (but not limited to) having spent 22 months UNDERWATER on nuclear submarines, 13 months at the geographic South Pole conducting atmospheric research, 3 years shipboard in the arctic, and 1 year shipboard on the equator conducting ocean floor studies! I have written extensively on terrorism and related subjects, and authored the bestselling current events book, "The Chicken Little Agenda – Debunking Experts’ Lies," wherein I assure your listening audience that the sky is not falling!" He is an established author, who in his own words has "spent nearly my entire life off the beaten path. " So with a history like that where do we start first? And what does he tell people he is...author, adventurer, or someone simply living a life on his own terms? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Dr Robert Williscroft Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Dr Robert Williscroft such as: Why his life was so structured for so many years in the US Navy, which has led to his delight in the creative decision making of his later life. We discuss the issue that educated people can sometimes find themselves in, whereby the greater the knowledge they possess the more unsure they can become. and lastly…. How Donald Trump has created the "Fake News" movement and how it's genius lies with the ability to merge so much information into one collective. With so many angles being show, who knows what is the right one?

Life Coach is a word that you see everywhere today. But are you born a life coach or do you need to live a life of ups and downs? Well today’s guest joining on the Join Up Dots show is a lady who I first connected with several years ago, but never got a chance to properly say hello to. Which is a bit of a regret, as not only is she a truly lovely individual but is also based in this little island of ours: Yep, she is based in rainy Manchester in the United Kingdom and since working for British Telecom as a Call Centre Trainer has been on a mission. A mission to develop employees everywhere to become the best that they can be, and find happiness whilst they are doing it. And she certainly seems to now have found her thing, after as much struggle as everyone else As she says “I’d love to be able to say I’m one of those people who is so super clever, I built a successful coaching business easily. But that would be a big. Fat. Lie. I spent my first year as a coach taking every course I could get my hands on, which led to massive overwhelm. It became a patchwork quilt of information: a course on blogging, another for WordPress, another on podcasting, then copywriting. But it wasn’t cohesive. I wanted courses to help me go step-by-step so I could focus on what I loved, coaching.” And so how has she done it? How has she managed to blend her years of being an employee into someone who is crushing it, but also being totally themselves…being happy in the process? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the lovely Northern lass herself Jo Casey. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty Subjects with Jo Casey such as: Why she is so aware of the power that comes with being different to everyone else, and by embracing that fact you will find your customers so much quicker. How looking back on the first year of her making mistake is now fine as she can see that nobody was really listening or watching what she was doing anyway. Why she is so aware that she has the opportunity to become the best boss to herself that she has ever had, and doesn’t take that fact lightly. And Lastly…….. Why it is so important to understand in life what you truly are: Artist and Entrepreneur especially when you first start building your dream business.

Media and getting noticed in the media is a hard game to crack. However my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who spent over a decade working in an environment that ultimately left her looking for a new future (although with the media skills to make that future happen) Starting her career at News 12 The Bronx after leaving Ohio University with a BA in Public Affairs and Journalism she worked her way up through the ranks in television. She performed the roles of Reporter, Producer, Host, Web Editor, Fill-In Anchor, Media Relations Specialist for ABC News, CBS News, NBC News the list goes on and on. All the time her confidence was soaring, her experience was becoming broader and broader and her future was waiting. As she says "I worked as a TV reporter for a decade who was pitched numerous times a day by publicists. Most of the time, I didn’t read more than two sentences of what the “PR person” sent. What they sent was too long, didn’t have anything to do with what I covered, wasn’t newsworthy, didn’t relate to the geographical area I covered, and the list goes on. They all wanted a free commercial for their client. Because of this, I decided to leave the news business and do that job - but better. And she has certainly done that, becoming the owner of Media Maven, a full service public relations firm providing services in: Media Relations, Media Training, Still Photography, Video Production, Social Media, Writing, Blogging, Event & On-Air Hosting, Branding, Website Design, Graphic Design, and Search Engine Optimization. If you want to grow your personal brand in the right way, then this is the place you come. So did she need every bit of her ten years experience to get to where she is today, or could she have cut corners here and there? And what is the scariest bit of becoming a business owner, the doing, or in fact the thinking of everything that you need to do? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Christina Nicholson Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Christina Nicholson such as: How she managed to hold back from kissing David Beckham, and why she feels that all British David's are super hot!! Why it is so important to be as specific with your conversations with your customers as you could possibly be...the more niche the rich you will get. Why it is so important to understand the nuts and bolts of everything you do in your life, before delegating that part of the business to someone else. and lastly…. Christina recalls the moment that changed her life and that was the moment when she decided to stop caring what people thought about her. Total game changer

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who has been a entrepreneur since 1982, and is an expert in online development and helping companies develop the people side of their business. She is co-founder and President of Performance Support Systems, a global software company based in Virginia, where their products are used by leadership coaches and consultants as well as internal learning and development professionals to help managers become more effective leaders. There is one truth in my mind, that someone who develops all the leadership skills whilst climbing up the ladder quite often finds those skills very difficult to maintain. Is it the isolation that causes the issues, or perhaps the climb that wears them out? Well whatever it is our guest will have the answer I'm sure. She and her business partners have worked together for 25 years, and many of their clients and resellers have done business with them for 20 years. She understands what’s required to build the loyalty and commitment that lead to repeat business and referrals. She takes pride in getting feedback like this, which is from a reseller who’s worked with her company since 1994: “Performance Support Systems is the epitome of the client-centered, high-integrity, high-support company with world class products. You could look for a lifetime and not find its equal.” So strong relationship building, high level customer service and a commitment to build the people and not just the business is the ideal way to operate.....or is it? Does she look back at her career and think "Wow, home run every single time"? Or, instead has it been a gradual climb, or struggles, mistakes, huge failures and everything else that entrepreneurs have to overcome? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Meredith Bell. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Meredith Bell such as: Why she remembers being a serious child and how she taken steps to bring a lightness into her life and work that wasn't always there. Why we have to be aware of the ego in our business that can often take of us from the track that is right for us. Why Meredith loves passionately talking with clients, as much to find out about their own business as her own. Value always comes first however. and lastly…. Why a binge watch on Netflix is something that could be a good thing for so many members of the entrepreneur club, if we only allow ourselves the chance.

Yoga is great for the core strength of a body. Yoga is also great for the mindset of a person. So lets find out how yoga can be made into a thriving business. My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who deserves to be on this show, as she is one big collection of dots. And the kind of dots, that although difficult to deal with at the time turn out to be the true gifts in ones life. As she says “Sometimes life lessons are right in your face waiting to happen to you if you just surrender to the call. But it took me a long time to get into the position where, my passion had finally fallen out of the sky and smacked me in the face hard!” And this she found in the form of Yoga, and she then created her dream business that is going from strength to strength. Providing what her clients want, her family want and of course what she wants too. As she says “I have been a entrepreneur for 20 years I know what it feels like having to create your wealth! But I also knew that your health & inner strength matter more in this adventure of self mastery! Being a entrepreneur is all about Self: Mastery, Discipline, Awareness, Confidence, And Worth etc. You have to believe then apply the gift to create the Magic! In between the “Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda”, I became a Yoga Instructor, Holistic Health Coach, owned a MMA Promotion Business in Atlantic City with my husband (the last one was the stress factor). “ Which lead to her being the Founder of Down Dog Wellness, as she craved a way to create a bridge between work stress and life, enlightening awareness daily. So did she always have the desire to create such a business, or was it in direct result of her four years working at New Breed Fighters, dealing with cage fighters and the entertainment industry. And is the right business a pleasant experience, or does it still have days when you want to stay in your bed and let someone else deal with everything? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Kerry Morgan

SEO

SEO is on the table today. And how to make SEO front and centre of every business. My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who seems to me has found his thing in life. The thing that makes him bounce out of bed with excitement and enthusiasm. He is the CEO of Kansas City Website Design, who work with clients across the world building websites that not only look great, but also operate brilliantly too. Alongside his team, they work hard to make sure that the SEO element which is so important to gain Google rankings is built into the design to ensure visibility. As he says “Internet marketing is a lot like NASCAR racing. You need a fast car and a talented driver to compete and win – you can’t have one without the other. I build high performance websites and drive them to the top of the major search engines for my clients with organic search engine optimization and pay per click advertising management services. My approach to web development is laser focused on return on investment. I have a Contrarian view of website design which many of our competitors find distasteful, perhaps even blasphemous: Great web design is a commodity.” As is his passion for the task. And that is one side of what makes this guy perfect for Join Up Dots, as although he is now performing in a way that looks like it was a master plan right from the beginning, im sure we will find that just wasn’t the case. As his journey has taken him all over the world, He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has lived and travelled extensively in Asia for over ten years, based in Taipei, Taiwan, with stints in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong and now lives in Overland Park, Kansas with his wife Vivian and twin sons, Ely and Ostyn. And my favourite fact that in a way shows so much about how the guy operates, but he may be the world’s most successful SEO Internet marketer that has never had an active Facebook account. Love that fact, as it proves that there are many different ways to go about building success, and more often than not the best way is to simply do your own thing and create your own path. So what is about the online world that makes him scream out “No No No, that is never going to work…come and speak to me!” And what is it about web design that excites him the most, the creative element or the behind the scenes mechanics of it all? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Phil Singleton Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Phil Singleton such as: Phil shares his story how it took a real miserable job for him to truly assess what he wanted to do in life. But now he considers it a true blessing to have that experience. Why the ability to control your own life and hours is so vitally important to Phil, and why he could never go back to working for someone else. Why so many people create scatter gun approach to SEO and marketing. However everything you do must find it’s way back to the central hub otherwise it dies for ever. and lastly…. Why Phil has to spend a lot of time focusing his clients time-frames and expectations re SEO. It’s not a quick fix, takes time to come to fruition, and takes money to achieve.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a a guy who it seems is a born entrepreneur with a fascinating story to boot. Which makes him a perfect guest for a show like Join Up Dots. Growing up on the Shetland Islands – the most northerly tip of the UK, his first taste of entrepreneurship was running a small Dropshipping business whilst still at school. At 14, he used to buy electronics from China and sold them on eBay whilst building his first ever website at 14 years old, which still gets sales to this day! Leaving the islands at aged 18, he knew University wasn’t for him and lucky enough to be accepted into the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy in Manchester. As he says “The academy was an incredible experience – one in which I was pushed out my comfort zone on a daily basis, whether that was pitching, networking or just having to work incredibly hard. Things that are now a normal every day thing for me now – but certainly weren’t back then! It was in Manchester I launched a corporate well-being company called Alba Fitness, where he used to place personal trainers into corporate environments (such as call centres) to run corporate fitness programmes. However it really started to come together for him, when he realised that the trainers were generally terrible at marketing themselves. Secondly, he was reading a book called the 7 Day Startup – a book all about (you guessed it) launching a business in 7 days. On June 21st 2015, he finished the book. On June 29th 2015, Blue Cliff Media was born. He offered social media and community management services at the beginning but eventually carved ourselves a nice wee niche in Facebook advertising. The business continues to grow and have some amazing clients all over the world. So looking back on his life on the Shetland Islands, was it a blessing or a hindrance to his entrepreneurial venture? And is he where he wants to be in his life or simply on the first rung of what he can now see is possible for him? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Gavin Bell Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Gavin Bell such as: How Gavin managed to get his business up and running as a small school boy even buying and selling belts on vacation Why networking and pitching his business is such a huge part of his business strategy. You have to get out from behind your pc! Gavin recalls the moment when he decided to pivot from his business Alba Fitness, and learn from what it had given him (or more often that not didn’t give him) Why FB ads are an amazing way to grow your business, but you have to let then run before seeing the results. Its all about data after all. and lastly…. Why it is so powerful to show your successes and failures to the world. Reality is today’s marketing strategy that works.

Digital Agencies have become big business for my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man with an amazingly unusual road to where he is today as a digital agency expert. Not least, as I discovered that his first job was a gravedigger at a Pet Cemetery, digging graves for Fido and Felix, and many other beloved pets who had used up their extended lifelines. But certainly his career might have seen dead and buried, but in fact it was just one of the big dots that has lead him to where he is today. Digging around the internet, spying on the competition and bringing the five steps of lead generation to life for his clients As the founder of Digital Agency School and the CEO of the marketing agency GoBeyond SEO, he believes that there are five stages that all businesses need if they want to floruish in their markets 1. Identify your ideal client 2. Research what works in your market (i.e. “spy” on your competition) 3. Craft a converting message and foot in the door offer 4. Build a funnel you can leverage 5. Analyze the data and optimize And this systems appears to be working wonders, as even though he started his agency with no experience, no marketing education or any connections in the industry he is certainly rocking and rolling. Now he wants to help other marketers launch their own agencies so they can build their ideal career & lifestyle and I suppose legacy. And isn't that what life is all about, helping as many people as you can to get their dream, and in the process getting your own one as a result. So how did he start Digital Agencies if he had no experience in it, and still make it a success? And does he look back at the time when he used to read the newspaper over the radio to blind people as useful in anyway to where he is now? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Brian Saemann Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Brian Saemann such as: Why the skill of anti-selling is such a powerful concept in business...and what is that? Quite simply the more that we tell someone that they can't have it the more they will want it. Brian tells how he had to work two jobs for a year and a half until he had the money and structure to start his new business (even after being pushed by his wife) Why Brian feels that all businesses, especially in the beginning should thrive on old school marketing techniques as these are so much easier to understand and will make money quicker. and lastly…. Brian shares the mistakes he has made both financially and timewise, which although disappointing, have led him to where he is today.

Money, money, money as Abba sung can be amazing. But what happens when it controls you instead? Today’s guest joining us on the Join Up Dots free podcast is a man who calls himself a rockstar, and with very good reason too. No he doesn’t strut around doing the Jon BonJovi return,or perhaps he does. Instead is he is a rockstar in regards to his methods for money management, and can help us all get out of debt, save money and therefore retire at a young age. As he says “I grew up in small town America and now live in the big city of Dallas, Texas. I’m an early retiree who gets to work because I want to, not because I have to. If one of your goals is to do the same, I’m here to help. My mission is to educate, empower, and entertain people from all walks of life by helping them experience real breakthroughs in their lives through hope and financial freedom. My goal is to create insightful, relevant content that you can put to work simply and immediately in your personal life. ” Now that all sounds amazing doesn’t it. And what makes it even more amazing is this guy wasn’t born with an inherent skill to make money, keep money and grow his stash of cash This guy was someone who as he says “I went from a money moron at age 22 to self-made millionaire 13 years later” He has made huge mistakes in his past, but has learnt from them. He has worked at filling in the gaps in his education to become a master of those mistakes. And now with his platform, and newly released Podcast “Financial Rockstar” he is rocking and rolling and loving life. So what was the moment when he realised that things couldn’t keep travelling on a one way journey to broke-ville? And is this something that can be done easily, or is it a case of sacrificing every bit of comfort and niceties in your life? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Scott Alan Turner Show Highlights During the show we discussed such indepth subjects with Scott Alan Turner such as: How Scott believes he could not have got to this point of success without the stumbles and falls he made financially as a young man. Why it is so important to work out where your money is going, so you can start to grow the areas where you have the greatest monthly shortfall. Why it is so important to work two jobs whilst you build at last six months of savings to ease into the world of entrepreneurial adventures. And lastly……… Why he sold his business for a handsome profit and knew within two days that it was time to get going again. A life sitting on a beach, sipping cocktails was not for him.

Online Income anyone? Well my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who went from delivering pizzas for $8 an hour to creating a full-time online income in 1996. As he says "I created my first web business online from scratch in 1996. Within just a few months I was earning a full-time online income and quit my last dead-end job of delivering pizzas for living. Within 2 years I was being asked to share at some of the earliest internet business conferences. This business was eventually sold in 2004. I retired for 18 months before the itch started again to help other entrepreneurs with their online funnels and systems." And now in the past 20 years, he has personally helped thousands of clients set-up profitable Internet Lifestyles in hundreds of different markets through both his private and group coaching programs. He has been called one of the grandfathers of Internet marketing and was one of the first online marketers to demonstrate the power of email, generating $96,250 from one email to his list in front of a live audience. Now he spends his time helping small business entrepreneurs attract high quality clients, spot conversion cracks on their websites, and earn a big income even from small email lists. As he says "Way too many business owners accept long hours and stressful work as the only way to make it. It doesn’t have to be that way. You can have a great income and have a full life as well. Being a workaholic isn’t required…and it’s not even healthy. My motto is Earn More, Work Less, and Enjoy Life!" So back in 1996 the internet was a shadow of what it is today, so is it easier to achieve success and earn online income now or harder because of these changes? And what does he think comes first "The amazing idea that will change the world" or simply to turn the computer on and start dabbling? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Terry Dean Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Terry Dean such as: Why Terry sees Confidence being as one of the first hurdles to overcome when growing a business. You have to believe that you can succeed before you ever get a glimpse of what you want to create. "I have this audience what can i sell them" should be the first thing that people ask before starting the process of product creation. However very few people actually do this. Don't ever be nervous about speaking to people online or offline. Feedback is vitally important to the success of a business so get out there and start talking. and lastly…. Why nothing should hold us back from creating a business. Use the tools that are available to us across the web and start trying. You wont get it right straight away, but you wont ever get it right if you don't start.

Entrepreneurship is in the blood of todays guest.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a young Creative Entrepreneur committed to changing how we talk about self-awareness.

After living through some intense trauma as he was growing up and a near death experience when he broke his neck playing sport, he became obsessed with healing himself and trying to understand why people hide from the world and from fear.

After dropping out of Med School to follow his dreams and build a business that teaches what he has learned to others, he is now running that business working with universities to train their lecturers, schools to train students and hubs to train their entrepreneurs.

He also works with people individually from trauma survivors who struggle to sleep right through to millionaires that don't love themselves and feel unworthy.

The process of is always the same but the unique perspective a person will take on that process is always different.

As a person he is dedicated to experiencing joy and helping create as much of it as he can in the world.

When he is not helping people eradicate suffering from their life and quitting their job to chase their dream, he can be found in the gym, reading about science and history, or talking for days about the NBA and human consciousness.

So did he need the rough times in his life to really blast big in his life, or was this just part of his journey?

And when did the big dot occur in his life, that really showed him the path that he is travelling on today?

Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only MJ Fitzpatrick

Self Esteem can hold anyone back, and my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who when you read his professional bio seems like so many others out there today He is an artist, entrepreneur, & CEO of a holistically focused, multi-million dollar software company called Simplero. He is passionate about helping online business owners do exactly what brings them most alive & is currently bringing all of his gifts—including music, spirituality and personal growth—into an exciting new video show called The Calvin Show. Similar stuff. But then read the personal from the heart stuff and you can see that this guy is very different in many ways. As he says "Fifteen years ago, I was completely shut down. I had really low self esteem, and a self worth at minus a billion. Every breath I took I felt like I was stealing the air from people who were more worthy than me. I felt like I always had to produce in order to stay above board. It was a never-ending struggle. I was emotionally completely shut down. My head was all that mattered. My feelings were just a nuisance that most of the time I had no connection to. To my mind, my body existed to ferry my brain around. I remember watching the movies once, and there was a very powerful scene about love and loss. I felt something that I recognized as tears pressing to come out. And even though I actually wanted to cry, I just couldn’t. That lasted until I was in my late thirties. Only then did I really start to open up. There came a time where I cried. A lot. It felt great. I had so many unfelt emotions stored up inside me. Meanwhile I was a struggling entrepreneur. Always wanting to be successful at any cost. If I weren’t successful I might as well kill myself. I thought about it many times. That balcony looked tempting. I remember getting into coaching and personal growth, and thinking “I want to do something with this some day”. But it was always about being successful first (at something else). Without the success I had no worth." So how has he crossed that bridge from trying everything with little success, to finding the things that work the best for him? And does he look back and think, "I could have done this so much quicker if I could only go back in time?" Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr. Calvin Correli Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Calvin Correli such as: Why men are so unwilling to show their emotions in their lives, and what a stupid premise of holding ourselves back from letting go. How he came about creating the company Simplero, and the steps he took to bring the company to fruition. Why he believes in a principle of surrendering to life and just allowing life to guide him to what he wants to do. and lastly…. Why Calvin takes the time to allow the space in his life to allow the good things happen. Limiting meetings and outside distractions to give the freedom to build success.

Today’s guest joining us on the Join Up Dots free business podcast interview, is a man where you think where do I start? This is a man with three distinct areas of his life, which he calls his key stories. One being an explorer, one being an adventurer, and one being the start of his entrepreneurial life. When he was in Berlin back in 2006, he was like all of us, and was in a bit of a funk. He was studying computer science, but had no idea how to make a living from the subject that he was learning. And we hear this time and time again from people across the world. You start in a world of confusion, unsure of anything, even what you are doing at that time, but that is ok. Even though throughout your life you may have times when you are lost and unsure of your next move you only have to do two things. Gain as much knowledge whilst you are in that position, as there are gifts in your confusion. And then secondly say “Yes” to things, to put yourself in new experiences where those learnings start to make sense. And that is what our guest did, as without a clue to his future, a friend phoned him one day and his life started to change forever As he says” I got a call from a friend who’s hobby it was to use an old press ID card to sneak into expensive conferences to network and eat free food. He said: “You need to come to the Hyatt Hotel, there is a Ruby on Rails conference and the food is amazing”. “Ruby on what??” he replied. It was a fairly new programming language back in 2006. Free food sounded good though, so an hour later he was standing at the buffet and filling my plate with heaps of tasty salmon. A recruiter standing next to him, who had paid $1000 be there, asked if he wanted a job – working with Ruby on Rails! He pretended to have some experience and accepted this offer. From that moment on, while studying, he worked 2 days a week programming in various startups as a freelancer, all thanks to his desire to eat fish.” And that is where we will start today’s episode of Join Up Dots, even though I have no idea myself where this conversation is going to go. So does he still have episodes of confusion in his life, or is it now a seamless journey of experiences and success, as he travels around the world inspiring others to create a life on their own terms? And does he look back at his life and now see gifts in the dark times when he didn’t have a clue, which powers the belief to keep moving forward in his life? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Fabian Dittrich.

And has over the last few years helped tens of thousands of individuals, entrepreneurs, and organizations effectively identify their unique purpose. Finding the thing that they do better than anyone else, and then bringing that value piece to the world. After building her education through the Life Of Hard Knocks, she understands what it takes to overcome insurmountable obstacles, in business and in life, while in pursuit of your purpose as anyone who knows our guest describes her as an experience. She is as close as a human being can ever be to a human doing. As she says "What I do is simple. I find an idea that's different and valuable, and then build it with a team. Swiftly, and relentlessly. I do this by a rare process of how to fit people together, that goes far beyond just connecting them. I have built several businesses since my early twenties and learned that in business and in life, “Relationships Are Everything." And now she has put this system all in a form that's easy to learn and apply: The People Catalysts And with her new podcast, her thriving coaching business, and of course her speaking profile soaring everyday....it certainly appears that as she says people are all around us so lets use them. Let's find the skills that we don't have. The passions for a task that we need. And see the results come in. So was this always part of her plan in life, who like most people did she stumble over this process several times before seeing it as the gold? Transformation is an amazing life changing concept, and my guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who has lived a life of transformation.

With an inspiring story of hardship, pain and an emergence as one of the best thought leaders in the world today After coming through tremendous challenges (including drug addiction, anorexia & depression), she became a recognized national leader in her field as a registered nurse, speaking at international health conferences, being nominated for a special regional health award for her national work in training doctors & nurses throughout New Zealand as powerful change agents & was a finalist for the New Zealand Emerging Speaker of the Year in 2013. She received high accolades for her work as a national project manager with her work being featured at national conferences. Which is all very powerful stuff, but doesn't excite me as much as the moment in her life when she felt she was on the wrong path. The ladder she had been climbing was on the wrong wall, as despite a thriving career, she then let it all go to pursue her life calling of empowering billions globally to wake up and deeply own their power. She founded GameChangerLive, her 2-day highly acclaimed transformational workshop which is run through Australasia & South East Asia, and her three month advanced breakthrough program, GameChanger High Performance. And now it seems that she can't stop pushing the bubble of comfort that she found herself in, in fact we all find ourselves, to take bolder and bigger actions. So does it all come down to the simple moment of responsibility? We realise that we are the only ones that are responsible for our own lives, so have to take the action? Or is there much more to making a life exciting and empowering? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Kate O'Brien Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Kate O'Brien such as: Why she was willing to post naked photos on her website and why social media is such a world of fake news nowadays Kate shares how she came to the realisation of what she wanted to do in life, and the steps she took to make it happen (even having her husband pound the streets in a suit and tie) How Kate can see that her early healthy issues have become such a huge positive in her life and actually showed her the way to where she is today. and lastly…. Why it makes so much sense to share risk around in your life. Yeah make things happen, but dont burn every bridge that you have to make them happen.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lifestyle portrait photographer and image content creator who works with high-level entrepreneurs and thought leaders of various industries to produce high-quality, highly-captionable images that present informational, entertaining and inspiring aspects of their brand to their followers. More than just a photographer, our guest sets his clients up for success beyond the portrait session by coaching them on how to best leverage their image content for their websites, social channels, blogs, publications, advertisements and various other needs. But you can certainly see a path that has joined the dots amazingly well, as after leaving New York-Hunter College with a BA in Media Studies, he freelanced as a Production assistant for HBO, whilst continuing his studies to gain an MFA in Television Production And then for over 17 years worked as a television producer, and as a portrait photographer expert on several NBC Universal daytime talk and reality shows. So the dots lined up for him to go out alone and create his own production company, which he did in 2014, as he says “While my business began as a full-service photo/video studio, drawing upon my 16 years of video production experience, I now focus solely on serving thought leaders and entrepreneurs by providing them versatile, high-volume, high-production value image content that can be used for all of their content needs. There’s a lot more to my sessions that simply taking pictures; before, during and after each session, I help direct my clients so that they can maximise value from our session. I help them identify their content needs, determine the types of images we must capture to fill those needs, and then execute the game plan.. Its nice to live the dream daily” So was this a passion he persused through education and career, or like so many of us, just started to doing something until the passion was found? And what is teh hardest part of building his business, the sales and lead generation, or acually the content production? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only John DeMato. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with John DeMato such as: How John recalls how he got to the point in his life where he found that his internal compass was pointing in the wrong direction, and the steps he took to getting it where he wanted to point. How John manages to draw out the real character and personality in a photo, and why he feels it so important to do that thing. Why John can now see that through his business clarity comes confidence, and with confidence comes value. Its a real circle of development that you have to go through. and lastly…. We find out why John talks about his life as being within the matrix and outside the matrix and why he would never go back to where he was.

Think you know fitness? Well todays guest is a lady with more energy, than the most energised person you can think off. Yep, think of the person you know the most who runs, leaps, and bounds out of bed earlier than anyone, and they will look like a couch potato compared to this lady. In the last few years she has completed the 3 Peaks Challenge, Adventure racing in Borneo, Cycled London to Paris in 24 hours, Cycled London to Amsterdam in 48 hours, Completed The 3 Peaks Cycle Challenge (cycling 430 miles and climbing the 3 highest peaks in the UK) in 3 days, Learnt how to become an alpine mountaineer, Climbed Mont Blanc And that is just some of the things that has challenged and pushed her onwards to greater and greater successes in her life. I got tired just reading the list out. But like most of us that end up doing amazing things, her life going into the adult working life was anything but remarkable. During college she performed many various tasks within an office environment and due to her boundless enthusiasm and passions for the tasks, moved through the ranks quickly impressing everyone that she met, wherever she worked. Focusing her talents on culture building, start-ups, marketing and being the best that she can be, she thrived in the corporate world. But it was when she moved away from the world of the grey suits, that she has expanded her impressive resume of doing the things least expected and doing them better than most As she says “I believe that it is through challenging ourselves that we stretch our limits, break down barriers and realise we can achieve far more than we think. We raise the bar of what we expect from ourselves, develop confidence, resilience and drive and go out to achieve more across all areas of life. This is what has happened to me and I’m on a mission to give you the inspiration and tools to be the very best you can be and get the most out of your life.” So how did she manage to overcome the fears that hold so many of us back as we look to having rich and fulfilling experiences in our lives? And how has she managed to become so supremely fit, in so many different areas, and still keep on having the passion for more? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, the one and only Sophie Radcliffe. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics such as: How as a child she always had a passion for being dirty, running around and wanting more than she was getting in her life. The fires were always burning within her. Why she states “That you have to make bold, inspired decisions, and have courage if you want to change your situation” Why she thinks it is madness that so many companies allow their most inspiring, motivational and driven members of staff to just quit and walk away…….and I am in total agreement of this. How we must allow ourselves downtime to recharge both the body and the mind to come back stronger. We are just human batteries after all. And lastly…… Why everything in life is simply a case of taking babysteps towards the future you want. If you do something everyday you will make progress.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who was one of the first people ever to join up dots with me on the show. Back on episode 11, we discussed his journey from a position where he was diagnosed as clinically depressed, overweight, with limited motivation, but knowing that he had to do something and do something fast. And at those points in ones life when big changes are needed, so the big questions were needed to be asked. Our guest did that by asking "Why Am I Here? and then started taking action. His professional life began flourishing, his personal life improved, and after creating his own company, publishing his first bestseller “SEO Secrets”, presenting to crowds of interested folk who flocked to hear his message, he knew it was time to reevaluate once more. He increased his focus on self development and happiness, and created his first “Life List” which quite simply he states “Was the best decision he ever made!” Setting himself a target to achieve 150 things by May 25th 2017, he set off on an adventure which is nothing short of inspiring. He lost 60 pounds, ran a marathon, sold/donated all his possessions until only owning less than 100 things, paid off all of his debts, became much more spiritual, visited all 7 continents, reconnected with friends and family and became happier than he had ever been before. And with items such as flying a plan, being on a chat show, seeing Mt Everest, getting a six pack, and living in the wilderness for a month, being just a few items on the list you can see it is a stretch of belief, as much as perseverance. But that is just one side of his story as his professional experience is also a wow too. His expertise as a SEO expert, has been cited in Time Magazine, NPR, NBC, PC World and has been translated into over 10 languages. He has spoken at Yale, the University of Washington and numerous conferences around the world. According to analytics data, his written work has been accessed in almost every country in the world. So where do we start...with the culmination of the bucket list adventure, or how he has gone from a demotivated guy, overweight and lost to a man who seems like he hits a home run every-time he swings. Well let’s just start by bringing onto the show to start joining up dots the one and only Danny Dover. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Danny Dover such as: Danny tells us how he has managed to find the time and money to achieve his life list, and you will discover it is more to do with subtraction and prioritising than anything else. Danny reveals the big wins from completing his Life List (and they certainly what I was expecting) but so valuable to all of us. We discover the big fact of how long it takes to get a six pack, and whether he has managed to cling onto it after achieving that aim. and lastly…. Why we should all consider the power of attempting monthly life-lists of small achievable things occurring locally. Breaking lifes routine can be the quickest way to a life that is a wow!

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is one of the most sought-after executive leadership coaches in the world. Her extensive cross-cultural expertise spans 14 countries, six languages and hundreds of companies. She has written thousands of articles, columns, speeches and presentations. She is the author of two books: Trust Inc and Thoughts Spoken from the heart, where she brings expertise to her work that is grounded in behavioral and psychological principles along with 30 years of experience. She has worked across a wide range of industries and organisations within corporate, nonprofit, government, and business development domains, encouraging, pushing and setting guidelines for achieving high and consistent performance And now after decades of coaching powerful executives around the world, our guest has observed that leaders rise to their positions relying on a specific set of values and traits. But in time, every executive reaches a point when their performance suffers and failure persists. Very few understand why or how to prevent it. And she has bound up all this knowledge within the covers of her new book “The Leadership Gap” what gets between you and your greatness which is coming out shortly. So of course its great to be great, but how do you push past those feeling of doubt and insecurity that all high achievers struggle with in their lives? And did she work to get to this point in her life, or as so many guests have revealed…it’s been a pleasant surprise to her, that her dots have led her to this point? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Lolly Daskal. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Lolly Daskal such as: Why we should realise that when things are hard, the more focus we put in the easier things will become. It may seem the harder route but will get us to where we want to be quicker. Lolly explains her theory that we all should just go for what feels right in your life, which is where success is waiting. Trust your gut to make the right decisions for you. Why so many people fail to reflect on their own lives due to their busy schedule, until someone reflects it back on them by their own failures and struggles. and lastly…. We discuss how the imposter syndrome can hold us back in our lives, unless we accept that perfection wont ever happen, just get on with it.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is lady who believe me we all need to spend time with. Whether it's to make more money in our lives, to convince our bosses that we should be working at home in our PJ's, or to get someone to climb out of their PJ's and Whey Hay!! then it's all about being persuasive. As she says " I have used the science of persuasion to get ludicrous discounts from suppliers over and over and over again. And I didn’t even have to take my clothes off ;) Bag giant-ass contracts that everyone in the company had given up on, because I knew exactly which buttons to press. Influence people through written word…emails, blog posts, pitches or break-up letters…I did all and won most. I am also the office go-to person for softening down or toughening up the tone of critical emails, negotiate better timings, better rates and better treatment… often without a precedent. Now the interesting thing is when she decided to start an online business in April 2014, she told no one. "I didn't want to tarnish my reputation as a consultant, even my husband just knew I was starting a site, he didn't know what it was. I didn't even use my full name in the beginning, because I had a respectable Google presence." "I was intrigued by this idea of making money online. Consulting is trading dollars for hours — you get paid for what you work on. I'd always wanted to try something different and if I want to travel to visit family or take a vacation or travel back home, with an online business I can take my work with me." So in just three years, and with a site that was less than finished, she has hit the ground running, and now can teach us all how to make money online with none of the icky sales stuff that most of us get hung up by. So was three years about right to get her to where she is today, or does she look back and see many corners that she could have cut off in the timeline? And when did she feel comfortable enough to slam her name all over her work, sprinkle typos, and talk about "Toilet stuff" more than anyone I have interviewed before? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with with one and only Bushra Azhar Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Bushra Azhar such as: Why flattery is so important in business, as it makes both people want to be involved in working towards something that is mutually beneficial. Why Bushra never pitches unless she is invited to pitch to the other people. You have to be accepted into the persons life before ever attempting that for it to work like magic. Why being relate-able is such an amazingly powerful statement to make, which so many people online fail to understand. Be like the person that you are attracting and you are half way there already. and lastly…. Why it is so exciting to get your first online money no matter how much it is. And the best thing of all....those seeds you planted just keep on working.

Entrepreneur is a word that so many people like to attach to themselves, but what does it really mean?

Todays guest, joining us on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a traveling entrepreneur who is making his own life everyday.

And what really makes me love hosting a show like Join Up Dots, as in his own way he is part of my story….my dots.

When I started getting the research together and reading about him, I thought “Wow, I know this man already. I have been telling his story to friends and colleagues for the last few years….he was one of my inspirations”

AJ Leon is a man who went against all the rules, when he found himself at a crossroads in life.

He had followed the path most expected, getting a good job, earning great money, and living a life that spelt Success with a capital S.

But just when things couldn’t get any better, and a big promotion was on the cards he turned full circle and went in a direction that is 100% him.

He took the first steps to finding his unique self.

And the rest as they say is history.

As he travels around the world with his entrepreneur wife, he applies his great philosophy to life, which also forms the name of his website “the Pursuit of Everything.”

He tries to live his life with intention, do work that truly matters, devote time working on projects that benefit those less fortunate than himself, and to give more than he gets.

Well let’s bring onto the show to start joining up dots, as we discuss the words of Steve Jobs in todays Free podcast, with the one and only AJ Leon.

Show Highlights

During the episode we discussed such weighty topics such as:

How in life you have to keep on swinging before you ever hope to hit a home run, and its the misses that fine tune for when you hit big!

How his wife to be wasn’t upset that he had quit his job three days before getting married, but instead was simply pleased to have him back. She had missed the man that she had fallen in love with.

How he wrote down a two year plan of how he wanted his life to be, and used it as the bible to how he would operate from that point onwards.

How he believes that many people could travel with freedom, but you have to decide on how much adventure you are able to deal with…he has a very high adventure level.

And lastly…..

How his career advisor told him that he shouldn’t think of going into business, as he should think about being a mechanic instead…nothing wrong with mechanics but shame on you Miss Mitchell!!!

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is an man who has been in sales and publication since back in 1990. Starting his career as the sales manager for Self Magazine he worked for nearly a decade, in the world of publishing and sales via stints in Elle magazine, W Magazine and other such works. And through this period of work, you can see the first steps towards where he is today, and more importantly want is taking up his time. He is known as the Pitch Whisperer, who helps business owners go from invisible to irresistible with an elevator pitch. He teaches individuals, businesses and conferences how to build the momentum in gaining sales What he does is translate the left brain, technical speak into right brain imagination speak (where all selling happens) so people can present their offerings with a new-found confidence. The result is that its easier for the right people to say,"Yes" and share their vision with the same excitement. He achieves this with the 3C’s, making sure... 1) Their CONFIDENCE is at a maximum via incredible preparation 2) They have emotional storytelling skills for CONNECTIONS that are memorable and compelling 3) They're asking for a COMMITMENT that is irresistible. So did he always have the belief and understanding that storytelling is such a powerful component of selling a product or service? And when he looks back at his earlier career in sales and publishing, was this the key to where he is today? Did he need to operate in this area to develop the skills that he has today? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Mr John Livesay Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with John Livesay such as: John tells the story of how his Dad took a risk in his life, leaving his job to follow his passions and what an inspiration that was to him. We discuss how it is so easy to be knocked off path by comparing yourself to the success of others. Just get your head down and do the work How he was told by many people to go off and build his own brand, but was reluctant until finally taking the plunge and never looking back and lastly…. Why John is a great believer in the slide of faith to build income whilst you are still in employment. Dont burn all your bridges, but just set it on fire once you are established.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who is on a mission to help the world dream big, dream bold and then go out and make it happen. As she says ” I’m a dreamer and a doer, and if you have a dream, it’s mine to help make yours come true. I love stories. The true ones are the best, because they’re more exciting than fiction. I love helping write the stories of women like you who want more out of life than feeling like you’re not living up to your potential as an entrepreneur.” And she is certainly living up to the mantle of a been there entrepreneur, as after studying Creative Writing at Oxford University, and then gaining an MA in Communication at Baylor University, who history is littered with startups and interesting business ideas. It’s not often that someone starts a business based around making natural home and cleaning products, before become a breeder of high quality Arabian horses, before helping others across the world live a life that is brights, full of passion and their own. And that is what she is doing now, as alongside her previous still running businesses she spends her days envisioning, going after and accomplishing her desires and helping others do the same. A helper by nature, she has dedicated her skills as a mentor and public speaker to help women live their dream of leaving their day jobs to start their own business. And with her online platform Life With Passion, she is surrounding herself with more and more success stories of ladies who have now done just that. So where do people go wrong? Not dreaming big enough, or simply not starting? And if she could go back in time and change any of her own entrepreneurial ventures would she? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Christine McAlister Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Christine McAlister such as: Why she was so aware of where she wanted to focus her passions as a young lady, and the steps she took to make sure her dreams came true, even though it took her further away from her initial dream. Why she almost let her passion for horses be taken from her in her twenties due to listening advice of others, which is a lesson that she holds true to today. Never let someone else’s ideas become the ones that you live by. Why Christine made the decision to hire a coach and how she then saw massive improvements in her life and the opportunities in her business. and lastly…. Why being Bossy is in so many ways a key part her story, even though for many years she fought against it.

Kavit Hara is todays guest on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is an entrepreneur grounded in the age-old marketing principles, but using the latest technology advances to help small businesses thrive online. I know that this sounds very impressive, but in a nutshell today’s guest is a master at helping people finding their passions and creating thriving businesses based on those passions. That’s the dream really isn’t it. But the fascinating thing about this guy is although he now provides the fast-track to business success, he has been on an amazing journey to find those skills himself. Over a decade ago, he was determined to become the worlds best tabla player. Now if you don’t know what this is, imagine an Indian musician kneeling before two, what I would call bongos, then that gives you an understanding of what he played. And he played them very well, even performing with legends such Sir Paul McCartney, Jimmy Page, and Donovan to name just three. But this is a very niche instrument to play, and as a tabla player, he went through the ups and downs of the typical struggling musicians life. For years he faced struggles to find opportunities to perform, create a band, record, gig and tour. And as he says “Not only was this an outer battle, it was an inner battle too. Struggling with self-confidence and a lack of marketing know-how, things never looked up.” And this is the key thing to everything. You can have the greatest product in the world, but if nobody finds out about it then you are dead in the water. So how did he decide that there was a gap in his knowledge, that probably wasn’t the most obvious gap for a table player to realise he needed to fill? And is there a common problem that he now sees time and time again with wannabe entrepreneurs? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Kavit Hara Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Kavit Haria such as: How as long as you are willing to get up and keep on going then there isn’t failure in life, everything is just learning. Why most people managing a virtual team should fix clear goals and deadlines, but remain focused on the personal side of the team. Why none of us should wait until its time for retirement before looking for the dream-life, instead let’s focus on a whole life of amazing experiences. Why you shouldn’t subscribe to every newsletter you can at the beginning of your business , instead stay focused on just one or two high profile experts. And lastly…. Why he feels that entrepreneurs are the true change creators in the world, not the politicians, and how he wants to make big change himself.

How many times in your life do you look for the excitement and adventure?

Perhaps on you vacations at Disney World you actively seek out the biggest roller coasters for the scary thrill.

But what about in your normal life?

Well if you are like most people then the last thing you do is try to shake things up and make things exciting and different.

Well just this week, I spent a lovely day travelling around my local seaside town with the family trying to complete a treasure hunt.

It was simple, it was cheap and it was a total break from the norm.

I could have said, "No I have work to do actually", "I could have said "I rather would not!"

But instead it was a "Yes, sounds good" and it was good.

I set out my stall to have a good time and I did.

And that is the key message to this show.

By jumping in feet first and doing stuff, without trying to make things perfect or fully realised we get a real gift in our lives.

As lets be honest, more often than not it won't ever be any better anyway.

Life is more often than not about preparing to make things perfect in our lives, but actually what we get is a mild, diluted version of the Mini Adventure of what occurs when we leap.

So in this episode we talk at depth about going for the quick gains in our life.

We talk about just saying "Yes" and doing your best in life.

And I promise you, you will be amazed at the results of that you get.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired business podcast Join Up Dots is a man whose official bio states as an "international business transformation expert who specializes in turning around manufacturing, technology and service business's. His ability to consistently and quickly drive triple-digit growth is the result of his unique leadership style, breadth of experience and expertise in Lean Manufacturing methodologies." Sounds great, but of course on Join Up Dots we want to know more about how he got himself into this position. Where did he poistion himself straight from school to start the journey to where he is today. And this is an interesting one, as unlike most people who appear on the show, he hasn't jumped from role to role building up experience for many different companies and employers. Instead our guest today has been with the same company for over 21 years. Since 1996 he has been a professional interim manager normally acting in the role of Ops Director or MD for the Business Turnaround Group. where he goes into manufacturing/technology & service businesses that are under performing and turns them around. And now his has joined with Norwegian Serial Entrepreneur Erlend Bakke to bring to the world his new book 90 days to profit, which brings about all his learning's that have worked wonders for companies across the world. So with a degree in Industrial Relations and Marketing following from a diploma in Production Engineering, was this a path that he always envisaged himself being on? And what would be the key thing that someone could to today to make their business start going in the right direction? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Steve Shoulder Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with such as: Why Steve spends so much of his time dealing with people in business who are unwilling to change, and what he does to overcome the objections. How Steve found his latest business partner, and the steps he took to make sure that it was a rewarding partnership that works Why Steve created the content for his new book to be as entertaining as it is educational, and why he thinks that this is the way that learning should always be. and lastly…. We bring to the world the amazing story of why a group of Northern Englishman felt the need to hang a monkey after believing that he was a french spy....yes seriously.

I went from being a divorcee living out of a suitcase with two small children, to now living a life of FINANCIAL FREEDOM and ABUNDANCE with the love of my LIFE. After 18 months of waiting for her family home to sell she left a tumultuous 7-year marriage with only her suitcases and her two little boys with over $50,000 worth of debt. She didn’t know where she was going to live or how she was going to eat. Meanwhile, she had started her company 18 months’ prior there was only small revenue coming in. Although, her new freedom felt empowering, she felt alone and scared about how she was going to take care of herself and her children. So how did she do it? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Janét Aizenstros Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Janét Aizenstros such as: Why the power of giving is such a big part of her life, and why it has always been the case even when things were tough for her financially. This is a magic episode for sure. If you listen to Join Up Dots on a daily basis then you will hear me wax lyrical when introducing a guest as I certainly like to do my research, but todays show is different. When my guest connected with us to request a place on the show, he hit me with this little tale and I didn’t think i could out do this little lot. So in his own words “On the day I turned 30 years old I looked around me and I knew things had to change. I looked up at the barbed wire toped concrete walls of the maximum security prison I had called home for the last 2 years and I wondered where everything had gone so wrong. Only a few years earlier life had been about fast cars, women and parties. I was born in England but schooled and grew up in Johannesburg in South Africa. I had a career in television that put me in peoples living rooms on a daily basis. I was a household name and people would ask me for my autograph when they saw me out and about. The choices I made led me to class A drug addiction and the results pulled the carpet from under my feet. Everything was gone within 3 months and I found myself living as a homeless man in one of the most dangerous cities in the world, Johannesburg. Drugs lead to crime and crime leads to prison. After 9 months awaiting trail I escaped from prison. Two weeks later I was re-arrested buying drugs on the street. I was sentenced as a security risk prisoner and given 3 years without parol in a maximum security prison. Today things look very different and I live a happy and peaceful life with my wife Colette and my daughter Kristen. I run a number of successful online businesses that pay my bills, I have authored a book due for release in June and I am able to enjoy a balance in life through my work as a psychotherapist. “ Wow , what a story, but believe me there is so much more to the guys tale, the we could literally go three or four episodes and still not touch the surface. So looking back on his life as a famous TV magician, did he find it easier to to get to the top, than he has since getting out of prison and changing direction? Or was that just the starting point to what he would call his “Sweetspot”…..has he now found the path that he would say was truly his to find? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Kenneth Kelly Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Kenneth Kelly such as: How he found the ability to perform magic in his early days was a great way of finding acceptance with his peer group, as he felt very isolated. How me and Kenneth both have to deal with social anxiety on a daily basis. and the steps we need to take to handle the issue allowing us to perform to our highest level. He shares with is the moment that his career was well and truly finished, standing at a window looking down on the pavement deciding to jump, and what stopped him. And lastly…. Why his parents loved the idea of him becoming a magician at the age of seven, but told him to get a real job when he told them the same at eighteen…. is this a common occurrence across the globe?? Yeah of course it is!

Time is a problem. Chances are good that, at some time in your life, you've taken a time management class, read about it in books, and tried to use an electronic or paper-based day planner to organize, prioritize and schedule your day. "Why, with this knowledge and these gadgets," you may ask, "do I still feel like I can't get everything done I need to?" The answer is simple. Everything you ever learned about managing time is a complete waste of time because it doesn't work. Before you can even begin to manage time, you must learn what time is. A dictionary defines time as "the point or period at which things occur." Put simply, time is when stuff happens. There are two types of time: clock time and real time. In clock time, there are 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year. All time passes equally. When someone turns 50, they are exactly 50 years old, no more or no less. In real time, all time is relative. Time flies or drags depending on what you're doing. Two hours at the Department of Motor Vehicles can feel like 12 years. And yet our 12-year-old children seem to have grown up in only two hours. Related: Looking for a New Payment Company? You're 'Due' for Some Good News. Which time describes the world in which you really live, real time or clock time? The reason time management gadgets and systems don't work is that these systems are designed to manage clock time. Clock time is irrelevant. You don't live in or even have access to clock time. You live in real time, a world in which all time flies when you are having fun or drags when you are doing your taxes. The good news is that real time is mental. It exists between your ears. You create it. Anything you create, you can manage. It's time to remove any self-sabotage or self-limitation you have around "not having enough time," or today not being "the right time" to start a business or manage your current business properly. There are only three ways to spend time: thoughts, conversations and actions. Regardless of the type of business you own, your work will be composed of those three items. As an entrepreneur, you may be frequently interrupted or pulled in different directions. While you cannot eliminate interruptions, you do get a say on how much time you will spend on them and how much time you will spend on the thoughts, conversations and actions that will lead you to success. Related: Tips for a More Productive Day Practice the following techniques to become the master of your own time: Carry a schedule and record all your thoughts, conversations and activities for a week. This will help you understand how much you can get done during the course of a day and where your precious moments are going. You'll see how much time is actually spent producing results and how much time is wasted on unproductive thoughts, conversations and actions. Any activity or conversation that's important to your success should have a time assigned to it. To-do lists get longer and longer to the point where they're unworkable. Appointment books work. Schedule appointments with yourself and create time blocks for high-priority thoughts, conversations, and actions. Schedule when they will begin and end. Have the discipline to keep these appointments. Plan to spend at least 50 percent of your time engaged in the thoughts, activities and conversations that produce most of your results. Schedule time for interruptions. Plan time to be pulled away from what you're doing. Take, for instance, the concept of having "office hours." Isn't "office hours" another way of saying "planned interruptions?" Take the first 30 minutes of every day to plan your day. Don't start your day until you complete your time plan. The most important time of your day is the time you schedule to schedule time. Take five minutes before every call and task to decide what result you want to attain. This will help you know what success looks like before you start. And it will also slow time down. Take five minutes after each call and activity to determine whether your desired result was achieved. If not, what was missing? How do you put what's missing in your next call or activity? Put up a "Do not disturb" sign when you absolutely have to get work done. Practice not answering the phone just because it's ringing and e-mails just because they show up. Disconnect instant messaging. Don't instantly give people your attention unless it's absolutely crucial in your business to offer an immediate human response. Instead, schedule a time to answer email and return phone calls. Block out other distractions like Facebook and other forms of social media unless you use these tools to generate business. Remember that it's impossible to get everything done. Also remember that odds are good that 20 percent of your thoughts, conversations and activities produce 80 percent of your results.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is with a lady who is on a mission to help the worlds entrepreneurs own their own successful business that can someday be run without the business owner pulling all the strings.

Along with her team she will push her clients towards the first step in the direction of business freedom, time abundance and the ability to
ultimately sell a business at a profit.

Sound good...you betcha.

But how has she developed herself to a position where she is rightly called the “Swiss Army Knife” for Business because of her knowledge of tools, automation and needs of the small business owner.

Her ability to create the perfect solution to any challenge in the most cost effective way for the small business owner that is struggling with the business behind the business.

Well she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising and Public Relations with an emphasis in Marketing and Event Planning from Grand Valley State
University in 3 years, but it was when she struggled with the waste she experienced at the corporate level in large companies that the first steps to where she is today became to be realized.

And due to the fact that most people only understand what they know, and unfortunately 80% of running a successful small business is NOT their trade knowledge, it seems as if she has a never ending conveyor belt lining up to work with her.

So what is the hardest part of growing a service based company like her own?

And does she look back at her history and think "Man if only I knew what I know now then we would have been rocking in record time!"

Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Brook Borup.

Show Highlights

During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Brook Borup such as:

Why she is so focused on building a team around her that will free her even more from her business, to tackle the things that fall within her own personal super talent.

Why Brook believes that it is so important to spend as much money as you can possibly on hiring a VA. If you go cheap, you get cheap results.

Why a great way to start a business is to simply look around at the people you already know, and ask them "How can I help you?"

and lastly….

Brooke reveals her worst client ever....and you will be surprised to know exactly who she said.....i was for sure :)

My guest today, on the confidence boosting Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who only recently appeared on the show, back on episode 675 And why is he back so quickly I hear you cry, when there are so many guests desperate to get on the show to start joining up dots. Well, during the recording it was obvious to me that there were so many stories needing to be told, which we just didn't get near to discovering and will be so useful for all of us, as we learn to trust ourselves and go for the gold in our lives. Well, after an unfulfilling first semester of college that resulted in major stress, anxiety and unhappiness, he knew that he needed to make a change. Although doing well academically, he had no passion for what he was doing. He realized that going to school and getting a degree might not be the right path for him - at least at that point in my life. So he decided to take a chance, leaving school behind to follow his heart and explore other ways of life. With just a backpack and on a shoe-string budget, he spent 4 months traveling through Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica without a phone, yearning to disconnect from the widespread dominance of social media. From living in the jungle and teaching English to poverty stricken kids, to meeting inspirational people from around the world, his quest took him to remote and exotic destinations throughout Central America. And now with an amazing book Off The Beaten Trail doing well, and his speaking career taking off it quite simply seems to me that this is a man that we need to keep our eye on. Which is why, we have him back on the show already. So when he decided to go down to South America, what was he hoping to achieve? Disconnection or actual connection with his real self. And was there anytime when he felt that he had bitten off more than he could hope to chew, but still managed to overcome? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Jake Heilbrunn Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Jake Heilbrunn such as: Why Jake knew that he needed to maintain a lifestyle that would protect his balance of $4,000 travel funds, so found a way of volunteering to gain food and board Why the power of story telling was so important to Jake through his travels, and why he feels that people should embrace this age old tradition more than they do today. and lastly…. Why the world is full of amazing people, who come into your life just when you need them most and will help you out when times are tough. So dont be worried about what could happen. You have support everywhere.

Todays guest is a man who for over a decade chased the Hollywood Dream. Hustling like mad as a writer to get that breakthrough that would make everything possible in his life However he hit a crisis point on New Year’s Eve of The Millennium when he became terrified that 5+ years of driving a taxi to survive would be irreversible career suicide. He quit writing, dove into an intense transformational period of self-help and personal development work, and focussed on making money for the next 8 years, becoming fat and happy. Obese, actually. As the economy collapsed in 2008, Clint was at a men’s self-help meeting when the shaman pointed at Clint across the yellow and orange crackling flames of the camp-fire and said, “You don’t know it yet, but you’re already dead.” Well that is one of those comments that you can either take two ways. One….”What the hell is this man talking about, its quite obvious that I’m not dead!” Or two………what our guest today did. He took it as inspiration to change his life like never before and in 2009, he made sure that he was going to live as if it was going to be his last year on earth He lost 40-lbs, built a factory which allowed his business to thrive during The Great Recession and beyond, wrote his first bestseller and revived his crumbling marriage. But rest assured this is not a story about a man who simply got lucky. This is a story about a man who took courgagoues decisions, and consistent action which led to a remarkable life. So does he see the turn round as simply a change in mindset, or is it much more than that? And does he look back and think, if only I started earlier, or did he need to go through the rough times, to get to the true waiting path? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Clint Arthur. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics as: How becoming a celebrity can fill out your bank account, buy you nice cars, but can never fill up a hole in your heart. How he recalls the moment that he burnt all his own writings and screenplays, and took control of his life, burning all his bridges in the process. How the first question he was presented with on the Today Show, lead to him finding the title of his second book. You never know when inspiration will occur. Why it is so important to ensure that you look the way that people expect you look when you are performing the role. And lastly…….. How he can now see his big dot as the moment that he stopped smoking marijuana, and he has never looked back since he tool the decision to quit.

Today’s Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a listeners question and answers session where your host discusses the quickest way to get a pay-rise in your life. So many people think that they have to work harder. They have to go cap in hand to your bosses begging for more money from the pots that they swear are holding nothing other than spiders and dust. But more often than not this is the last thing to do, as you aren’t in control of the results. But looking at what you are spending each day in your household your are one hundred percent in control off. So here is the question……….. Dear David, this question probably doesn’t fall into what you would normally answer, but here’s hoping for some great advice as I really don’t know what to do for the best. I am looking to start a new business (I haven’t got to the planning stage yet so have no idea what I would like to do) I just know that I can’t work for my company anymore as I dont get paid enough to live like I want. I do love my job but all pay increases have been stopped for the last five years, so I don’t imagine that I could just simply ask for more money as this will not be received well I’m sure. I am working as a hospital administrator dealing with appointments and cancellations in a hospital in North Dakota, and the team are great, the work although boring to do is what I want to do, as I leave everyday with an empty workload. Which is what I love more than anything, as my own personal time means everything to me. Sorry to ramble, but can you suggest anything as I know from listening to your show that you have been on both sides of the fence. Kind Regards Eileen Vocilla

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who first appeared on Join Up Dots back on episode 103. When the show was just a baby compared to what it is today. Back then we discussed the unusual concept that sales is in fact a honorable profession. Wait I hear you say…surely I didn’t hear the words Sales and honourable in the same sentence? But our guest waxed lyrical about why he felt that it was in fact true, and why since 2000 he had focused his time, passions and energy’s in the world of Insurance Brokerage, coming out the other end hardened by the work that he was performing. As he said he was bloodied, bruised, kicked in the teeth, chewed-up, and spit-out. But instead of becoming cynical to this work, he instead developed a passion for helping others learn from his successes, mistakes and backstory. Focusing on four main areas, Sales training, Attitude, Connections and Loyalty he worked tirelessly to create success in his life. And now he has managed to take these concepts and turn them into a personal branding encompassing coaching, training, and keynote presentations across America. He is a man on fire, and certainly from my perspective seems to be in control of what he is doing, where perhaps the last time he was on the show wasn't quite the case. So how has he done this and still juggled the issues that comes with being a family man. And is he where he wants to be in his life, or now is he aiming for bigger and bigger things that he just couldn't have dreamt possible back in the early days. Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Brent Kelly. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Brent Kelly such as: Why there is a comfort level across the world, which has led to so many people to simply follow what everyone else is doing, which is a huge mistake. Follow the crowd and see your prospects diminish massively. Go your own way and get the rewards. Why Brent realises that their was a confidence issue in his life, which lead him to not fully grasp the value he could bring to the world. When this came together for him then everything became so much easier. Why the world is more and more looking for the "how long it is going to take" answer, whilst they should actually be looking at "How can I become good?" and lastly…. Why you shouldn't be worried about the comparisons that you see online today even though there are so many. Just get your head down and do the work.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is man with quite an usual journey to where he is today. But as we see every-time on Join Up Dots, if you look close enough you can see how the dots join up everytime. He has led two companies from $1 million to more than $10 million, and one from $1 million to $0. And now trains entrepreneurs who don’t realize they’re the VP of Sales and also individual sales people how to 10 X their revenues in a step-by-step sales formula . But starting his career as a graphic design intern, he was a million miles away from the sales king he is today. He did four four months only, before then joining Uncle Sam in the US Marine Corp where he provided visual information support, by way of photos, videos, and graphics, to enhance the combat readiness and training support needs of the Marines. Who would have thought...eh?? And then he went through a series of roles quickly as he developed his skills, gained successes, learnt from his mistakes and made his way to where he is today. As the owner of the Sandler Training DTB, a consulting and training firm dedicated to helping clients significantly improve the performance of their revenue engine. And it looks like he is loving it! So when did he realise that sales was the environment that truly made him come alive? And why does so many people struggle with this part of the business, when in truth we are all in sales every day of our lives? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Jim Brown. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Jim Brown such as: Why so many people in the world refuse to dream big enough in their lives, and how the bigger you can dream the more chance you have to succeed. Jim shares how he grew up poor in Indiana, and why although he has never lost the awareness of the value of moneym he is so willing to take risks as he grows his own business. Why even after starting seven businesses Jim shares how none of them have lasted more than three years, and why he is so happy that is the case. and lastly…. Why you simply have to go back and listen to episode 82 of Join Up Dots, to hear the most amazing story you will ever experience

Today’s guest joining us on the Join Up Dots podcast is a man who has been on a terrible journey to get to where he is today. At least in my perspective it looks that way, but perhaps in classic Join Up Dots fashion perhaps it was all these things that were needed to be experienced to make him who he is now. As he says in his own words ” As a small boy I had been violently and repeatedly raped from the age of three to around eight years old. Which left me feeling completely empty. So full of shame, it was incredibly difficult for me to feel safe or trust anybody at all. In fact, to deal with this trauma, my brain almost split into multiple personalities so that I could detach and protect myself when I was being seriously abused. As you might imagine, I turned to drugs and alcohol to mask the pain, trying drugs as early as seven years old.” By his late teens and early 20’s, it had gotten so bad that he was in and out of jails, institutions, halfway houses and he ended up homeless, and living on the streets. He was failing at everything, his entire life was a mess and after all he’d been through, he had every reason to hate the world. But he finally realized if he didn’t change, he was going to die. This is when he developed a simple mindset shift that changed everything. He realized that for a long time it was his mindset that had been the biggest problem he faced. In that one moment, he changed his very identity, and what happened next was incredible. And that is where we will begin today’s episode, and this is going to be a great one, as today’s guy has since seen incredible success, and is literally changing the world everyday. So does he see that the things he spends his days doing were always in him, or was it because of his history that he found the skills that he loves sharing? And does he feel that the mindset people have is the number one reason why so many keep themselves small? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Rob Scott. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Rob Scott such as: Why hitting rock bottom in your life can quite often be classed as a huge gift in your life. The madness of the human race and why we are fixed on fighting against ourselves instead of making the world as perfect as we can. Why Rob loves treating life as a game to allow the mistakes to happen and the creativity to flood in. How to find the purpose within the passion. How to develop a life that lights you up but also makes you feel good everyday too. And lastly……. Why suffering is a choice that we make, whereby pain is something we have to endure. It’s your choice which one you embrace.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who quite simply is astonishing. Why do I feel that? Well at the age of twenty years old he is already on his way to defining his life, whilst the rest of the world are scrabbling around screaming "I don't know what I want to do...show me someone, show me!!" He is a youth speaker, author of the book "Off The Beaten Trail" and driven to show the world how everything can start if you are willing to ask a simple question. As he says "My extraordinary adventure began with one simple question: What if the biggest risk is not taking any risk at all? After an fulfilling first semester of college that resulted in major stress, anxiety and unhappiness, I knew that I needed to make a change. Although doing well academically, I had no passion for what I was doing. I realized that going to school and getting a degree might not be the right path for me - at least at this point in my life. I decided to take a chance, leaving school behind to follow my heart and explore other ways of life. From living in the jungle and teaching English to poverty stricken kids, to meeting inspirational people from around the world, my quest took me to remote and exotic destinations throughout Central America." And now he is joining up his dots on today's show. So why did he feel so unfulfilled at an age, when I certainly didn't have the awareness of knowing whether i was unfilled or not? And looking back on his journey through South America, does he see it know as riskier than was needed, or actually a stroll through the countryside? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Jake Heilbrunn Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Jake Heilbrunn such as: Jake tells a story of how he was breaking out in hives every morning, until finally realising that stress and anxiety was the cause of the issue and what he had to do to deal with it. How going for your big dreams is never an easy option as you have to untangle yourself from so many factors that surround you everyday of your life. People, parents and finances all try to keep you in one place. Why social media is such a double edged sword, hugely entertaining but also deeply depressing due to the constant comparison we are allowed by glimpsing in other peoples lives. and lastly…. Why he loves getting up in front of youngsters across America, inspiring them to take risks and challenging the personal status quo. My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man with a background in finance but a future that is 100% entrepreneurial. As a young man you could see that he was destined for a life dealing with numbers, but not where he has ended up. Leaving the University Of Florida after studying Economics he took a position with the accurate Advisory Group providing retirees and those planning their retirement with a range of financial planning services. He presented to countless families at presentation workshops on Social Security, 401k strategies, the In’s and Out’s of the brokerage world as well as many other related topics for individuals around the Tampa Bay Area for over 9 years until he decided to Found a side business “My Tax Reduction Blueprint” As he says “We don’t want our clients to incur any risk, so we perform all our work on a contingency basis. That means we only get paid if we are able to find savings and/or settlements for you! While most CPA’s are stuck looking at the rear-view mirror of your business, we focus on your windshield, creating current and future tax savings for you.” Now for many people this may sound like boring stuff that they trey to hide from as much as possible, but this show will be anything but. This will be a show about a man finding his path, by finding a solution to others problems. This will be a show about a man going it alone, and little by little building his company into a team of motivated financial advisers. This will be a show about a man, who no doubt will have struggled with the financial aspects of building his business as all entrepreneurs do. So why did he decide that this was what he wanted to do in his life, and is he as enthused about it now or can he see bigger goals to achieve? And is there one bit of simple advice that all our listeners to take on board that can make such a huge difference in their lives, when it comes to finance? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Travis Jennings.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man with a similar career path to myself. And a man who also has a desire to see the world flourish, and help individuals across the globe to grow exponentially, becoming their greatest versions. But of course to get to that point, you truly have to go through a journey of discovery yourself, to find your inner skills that make you unique and valuable to everyone. And it would be fair to say that just a few years ago, our guest was many many steps away from discovering their purpose in life. He was working in a restaurant in Notting Hill as a waiter, as he had been doing since the age of 15, and had certain mental restrictions should we say, that were holding him back from creating his dream life. He didn’t have a degree and his level of English was not quite enough to understand the self development literature that he was starting to immerse himself in. As he says, “Just three years ago I was facing a very difficult moment of my life. I knew I had to change but I didn’t know what to do. I felt lost, like wondering in a circle in a dark room with no exit sign and this wasn’t me!! I have always been the uber-positive-hyper-charged person that was able to lift up the energy of an entire room!! Where was that me? Where did it go? I wanted to find him and bring him back! So he took the plunge and signed up for an extensive two day coaching course in London, even though he had nowhere to live, and started working on himself everyday. He built that personal belief that he had inside him what was required to create a succesful business and little by little saw his life and his finances change. He first set up his coaching company Your Power to Shine Ltd and then a personal development events company, GTeX and was on his way. And now with a flourishing public speaking, coaching and development, and didgeridoo business (well the last one isn’t a business but is very impressive) he seems to be having the time of his life. So when did he truly switch the switch of belief and start making the bold decisions that make such a difference moving forward? And does he look back at himself and think “You were always ready to find the power to shine” you just had to start? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only, or as they say in Italy la sola e unica, Simone Vicenzi Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with such as: How he recalls being held back by his personal self image at the very beginning and battled as he felt he was being made to conform to the normal. How he went from being the youngest manager in a Michelin Star Restaurant, to creating his coaching business in just three years. And it was all down to building his network! Why he believes that it is a great learning experience to handle everything in the early stages of creating a business, but start handing things off as soon you can to focus on what you do best. and lastly…. The strangest stories involving body waxing, organic vegetables, ex-girlfriends, hitchhiking, and how to get free rent in London that you will ever hear.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is with a lady who connected with me with the words if you like the cut of my jib" as we say in Ireland. And it was job done, get her on the show. You see not only is she being hugely authentic and not talking the way that businesses try to conduct themselves, she is speaking the language of the receiver and that is so important. So it's with little surprise that I find myself today interviewing a master on Social Media who started her online journey back in the days of the internet being powered by a donkey on a treadmill. Yes, when she started in 1999 there was no Google, No Facebook, not even a tweet or a twit to be seem. She was certainly ahead of the curve, and now has positioned herself as the go to expert for anything social media In fact she is sharing all her expertise with her new online program, “Learn Social Media Like a Pro”, where not only will she give you a step by step process to achieve the traction you want, but you also get lifetime access to the Private Facebook Group where she, along with all the other social media bods will be sharing best practise and helpful support on events as they happen. So why did a lady from Ireland first start her internet career down in Sydney Australia, and was it by complete chance or simply a step on the master-plan of life? And does she agree that the best way to use social media correctly is to make it more about YOU, YOU, YOU and less about ME, ME, ME? Well let's find out as bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Maryrose Lyons Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Maryrose Lyons such as: Why the world of business is changing from B2B to B2H - Business to human, and how Maryrose is making the most of dealing with this change. Why you shouldn't be everywhere on Social Media but you should focus on reducing the amount of content but increasing the quality of the work you do. Why Maryrose finds being a parent as a real advantage to keeping her hours at a premium, as you can often get caught up with work, work, work which is just not good. Why not having a plan is ok, as you find the real gold when you are wiling to work within the cracks of life more than where everyone walks. and lastly…. Why three is the magic number in so many regards to building a business, especially in regards to choosing a customer. Maryrose shares how she works - and this is gold.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who had a rather profound realization when only small. When she was a young girl she remembers telling her parents that sometimes "I feel as if I can leave my body and experience the world from a bird’s eye perspective." As she says "Sometimes I’d feel crazy for feeling other people’s pain and sometimes I had visions that not many took seriously – maybe not even myself." This was of course an amazing talent to have but for a small child and one growing up lead to constant turmoil within her. After a time of rebellion, she found that these feelings needed an adults perspective to really form who she is and over the past years she has developed a successful business by travelling all over to share her enlightening message of creating a powerful relationship with your true self and of trusting your own intuition. Her passion is to support young adults create, live and transform their lives by understanding the scientific and spiritual connections between their heart and brain, by discovering their unique and magical gifts hidden within and by knowing how we connect with others. She not only Joins up the dots between people, but also the dots that lie within....truly powerful stuff. So is this a talent that most of us have although we either disregard it, or let it fall into disrepair as we grow? And is it a simple as saying "Be Aware of your feelings and emotions as this is where the dots truly start to show themselves? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Isabel Hundt. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Isabel Hundt such as: Why so many of us have the power of empathy in our lives as young kids, and why we are programmed to feel so disconnected from these feelings. Isabel shares how the ability to leave her body, took up so much energy and how she learnt to manage this to positive effect. Why she heard so many people telling her that she shouldn't or couldn't be doing these things in her life.... and managed to keep the belief to keep on going. Why we should never work towards getting the breakthrough in life, as more often than not the breakthrough will come when we least expect it. Just do the work. and lastly…. How she had a dream as a twelve year old which showed her that she needed to move to the US and what she was going to do in her adult life.....and that vision lead her to where she is today.

Ignite Your Potential is so hard to do. So many people in life, feel that what they do, is what they will do for the rest of their lives. They go into jobs that might inspire at the beginning, but over time, little by little start to become a drag. Every minute feels like an hour, everyday feels like a month. But they put up with it until its time for retirement, when they are free to mow the lawn, walk the dog, and have nice little naps in the afternoon. Well today’s guest joining us on Join Up Dots is a former senior Derby police officer, who since 1985 when he joined the force “saw the darkest side of humanity” as he says, while dealing with horrific murders and acts of violence. He retired at the rank of Superintendent on New Year’s Eve and, just the following day, picked up his first client after taking courses on hypnotherapy and life-coaching skills. In just short of a year, he has expanded his fledgling business and now has clients across the globe, who he helps via Skype. He says “In less than a year I have built up a client base that stretches to Australia, the USA, Europe and the Middle East and I have helped all ranges of people including chocoholics, nail biters and alcoholics. One of my earliest clients was a man who had suffered with a stutter for more than 30 years. Through hypnotherapy and life skills I have learned, we stripped back his problem to when he first started stuttering as a ten-year-old and within a short space of time I have helped him stop. He has since thanked me as it has given him a huge amount of confidence and enabled him to get a promotion at work. I am loving what I am doing, and my confidence has never been higher.” And this is a key part to what makes a business begin to flourish, its not the skills, its not the global reach, but it is certainly the personal confidence. The moment you truly begin to believe in yourself is when the world says “Right we think you can handle what we are going to give you, so make this into a success” So did he struggle with the “Oh god, this is my first client, I’m not ready for this” mentality after quitting the police force?” And now seeing the future forming in front him, would he have stayed in full-time employment as long if he had the chance to go back and change things?” Well lets find out as we bring onto the show, to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr. Kul Mahay Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Kul Mahay such as: Why he feels that the ability to change the world through the transformation of people is the most powerful statement that he can make, and why he takes it so seriously. How he recalls being scared of earning money in the early days of his business, and how he worked through those issues to find his true value. Why it is such a strange phenomenon across the world. how when you offer free tickets and huge value to the world people dont use it. There always has to be skin in the game. and lastly…. Why you have to be ruthless in regards to the people that you surround yourself with, as they will dip into your “energy wallet”. Protect the contents with your life.

My guest today, on the confidence boosting Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who has been on one hell of a transformation after realising that his life was not going the way that he wanted it to go.....and then doing something about it. As he says "In the past I had been successful in a variety of ventures. I worked for large corporations as well as being a small business owner wearing every hat imaginable. In 2010, I realized those hats did not fit very well. I finally looked myself in the mirror and realized I needed to change. I’m a father, a son, a travel junkie, a dog lover, a pilot, a golfer and a lot of other things. And at that point I began a total makeover of my life, both inside and out. Since 2010, I’ve visited 32 countries, circumnavigated the globe twice, sold a business, sold an airplane, placed all my belongings in storage and became a nomad." But the key thing is since that moment of epiphany in 2010, he has realized that many people are afraid to own their greatness and enjoy every ounce they can out of their lives. Fears, worries, and obstacles prevent all of us from moving forward in certain ways and he decided that he wanted to help others step into their greatness so that they can live the life of their dreams. And now he challenges people across the world, to become the biggest version of themselves that they can be. He challenges them to ask the important questions that we all bury deep down inside ourselves. Those questions that we need to desperately ask if we ever want to stand out from the crowd and live the lives of our dreams. And in the process his work is allowing him to enjoy more and more of his life too. So why did it take a leap in New Zealand to finally realize, that everything we want in life starts with a decision to "Go" And where does he see the biggest issue with people today, a lack of belief that they can match up to what they are seeing the world doing, or simply dreaming big enough. Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Dan Simon

My guest today, on the confidence boosting Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who I was happy to spend an hour with when being interviewed on his successful online show Discover Your Talent. So you know that he is a podcaster. But as you will see he is so much more than that too. After leaving the army as a young man with an honorable discharge, he attended Emory University graduating with a BA in Russian Language and Literature, before taking the first steps on a path that so many of us find ourselves on. Being directed by the ideals of his father, and very little imput by what our guest truly wanted himself, he begain studying to become a dentist. Which was a false step in the wrong direction, as without a doubt at his core he is an entrepreneur born and bred, and a very good one at that. Since 1972 he has founded a new business every few years ranging from publishing to advertising and most things in between. As he now says ” As it has turned out, my experiences as entrepreneur, inventor, writer and coach in advertising, publishing and career planning is the perfect foundation of skills, passion and talent to excel in the meteoric rise of podcasting worldwide. Add to that the disturbing statistic that 87% of people worldwide do NOT enjoy the work they do every day and this podcast channel truly is an idea whose time has come…. For me and for the people who listen to it around the world.” So there we have it. At his core he is a man who needs to love his work, feel inspired everyday and make a difference to everyone that he meets. It doesn’t matter what environment he finds himself in….the work has to be classed as a passion for him to truly discover his talent So does he wish that he could go back in time and start his podcast even earlier than he did? And with that shocking stat of 87% not enjoying their work, what does he truly believe he can do to make a difference to the world? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Don Hutchenson

Show Highlights

During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Don Hutcheson such as: Don shares why he feels some of the things that he invented in his life, which didn’t make any money, were simply created before their time. They sometime need the right time to grow and be the things he hoped they would be. Why we all need the quiet time in our lives to really assess what we want to achieve. We need to block out the noise and feel the emotions that are leading us. Why upskilling is so important in our lives, no matter what level we find ourselves on. Stop and look where we need to go and let knowledge help ease the way. and lastly…. Why Don believes that “Knowing Your Why” is actually the second question that we should be asking ourselves. Instead we should be focusing on “The Who”……do you trust yourself and know yourself?

My guest today, on the confidence inspiring Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who at his core understands that true business success is built by making the experience that customers feel, as good as humanly possible. Take a look at all the big boys, Amazon, Apple, Virgin to name just three, all have a background on providing what will make the customer truly satisfied (even if the customer doesn't know they want it at first.) He is the owner of Triple R Marketing, where with over 20 years’ experience in Marketing and Sales, he has helped small local businesses and brand-name Fortune 500 companies alike become leaders in their industry. He has worked alongside world-renowned author and sales expert Jeffrey Gitomer, and has helped businesses promote their products at high-profile events such as the Sport Emmy Awards, although never once losing sight of the small things that make such a big difference to his customers. Such as the astonishing tale of buying a complete caramel shop from closing for business, simply because his customers loved the handmade caramel packs that had quickly became a key part of his business. When he got word that the store was closing, the entrepreneur in him kicked in. He knew he had to reach an agreement with Fischer to keep the caramels available for everyone and in January of 2016 he took over as the new owner of Joan’s Caramels. And if that isn't enough on his plate, he developed an app called Fanvious that allows food and merchandise to be delivered to your seat while at a sporting event or concert. And with the success of the app he has been featured on the weekly television program Inside Indiana and also spoke at the IAVM 2015 Arena Management Conference on the ‘New Technology for Improved Fan Engagement.’ So what is it that excites him most invention, or satisfaction? Is it the creation or how his customers respond to his work that gets him out of bed with a spring in his step? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr. Matt Rudelinger. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Matt Ruedlinger such as: Why he feels it is so important to allow free-time within his business to be there for his family, which is a core value of starting his entrepreneurial route in the first place. Why being satisfied by the service that we receive as a customer is now the absolute minimum that we should expect from a business. Which makes it harder and harder to create viral word of mouth support. Why Matt loves the metaphor that there is a reason why the front windscreen to a car is a lot bigger than the rear. As it's only what's in front that truly matters in life. and lastly…. If you are going to close down your business then always think "How will my customers react to this" and if you think they wont be happy, then find another way of operating.

It’s with great delight that I get to speak to Candace Rose Rardon, a lady, who was first introduced me to a guest who appeared way back on episode 15 of the show Mike Sowden. After the show without hesitation he told me, you have to get this lady on the show “as she is having an affair!” Well actually, I don’t know if he did say that, but they are the first words that you see on her website “The Great Affair” But what does this mean? Well let’s tell you more about her, as you will see this lady is seriously in love with life, travel and her art, and experiencing life not just living it. She is an writer, sketch artist, and illustrator, and now calls the world her muse. She travels with a passion to capture not just the images, and architecture of the world, but also the flavour and emotions too. This makes her unique in my view. She is someone that shows us through her words and also her amazing sketches how she sees the world. Her character and personality shines out through her work, like no photograph can ever capture. So how did this all start, well we find out during the show. But like my own life has been changed by the Steve Jobs “Join Up Dots” speech, it there to see that hers was changed by the words of Joseph Campbell who once said “We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” And now in her own words, “Seven years ago, I hesitantly took Campbell’s advice. I let go of the life I had planned and opened myself to the myriad possibilities the world has to offer. While stepping off the edge of my safe existence into the unknown was a terrifying prospect, I also had a feeling that something incredible awaited me if I could take that initial leap of faith. Life has been a crazy adventure ever since.” So what is it about travel that lights her up, and is it all plain sailing or are their times that she longs for a cubicle in a grey office somewhere? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Candace Rose Rardon Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Candace Rose Rardon such as: How she will never lose the appeal of having movement in her life, but realises that now its the movement of energy and passion that is the most important. How she had to build up her confidence levels to travel the world by first travelling to England and New Zealand…close enough to America but different enough to appeal. The moment when her big dot appeared and a single conversation changed her life forever. How she finds it so surreal that she has found a thing in her life that people will pay for, and will never lose that wonderment each time income is earned. And lastly…. You will find out what she misses most during her travel in her life – the pillow or the bed….and that is a deep question.

Any suggestions? - Don McKenzie, Seattle USA 2: Hi David, many of your guests talk about being in the state of flow. My guest today, on the confidence boosting Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who a few years back was disappointed with the current mental health care solutions he was offered after suffering from stress in the workplace. So like so many guests, he didn't accept what he saw and decided to take action, turning to alternative therapies which got him through and beyond this temporary stress. These solutions began forming into a business idea which led him to creating Stressbox in Jan 2014, and he took these learnings into the corporate environment to help with de-stressing in companies everywhere. As they say "We are an up and coming mental wellness fitness brand with a social purpose to support the epidemic of work related stress. We succeed in this by creating innovative holistic fitness workshops, in-house talks on preventing stress and performing our epic yet different fitness class….StressBox. Our powerful class combines Boxing fitness with Mindfulness all to wonderful music to inspire and enlighten you within our 1 hour experience. We create magic moments in our bespoke classes to suit your busy schedule, at StressBox we understand that time in this hectic world is valuable so we combined Holistic health with musical fitness to have greater impact on your mindset not just your body." To succeed in this new business, he researched stress in society for 2 years via practical innovative coaching and academically using Neuroscience, the science of meditation and positive psychology. And rapidly this knowledge became a cult hit at a popular gym in Birmingham, England with teachers, doctors, entrepreneurs, and teenagers becoming fanatics with his alternative style. So why if he had an issue with stress did he then decide to build a business around it, and not run to live stress free on a hot tropical island somewhere full of bikini wearing beauties? And is this as a real life issue, or do so many people just use the word as a badge of honour nowadays? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only, Mr Liam Joe Blackwood. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Liam Joe Blackwood such as: Why so many people find themselves in situations in their lives which doesn't naturally match their skills and talents - which can obviously lead to the kind of stress which can be avoided. Why the power of visualisation is such a powerful process in building success in a persons life, and the steps that we should take everyday to bring these visions to life. Liam Joe recalls the battles he overcome in the early days to get his vision out to the world, and the steps he took to get there. Why we should never overthink anything in our lives, but simply look to do the best we can in the most relaxed method possible. That is always the best way. and lastly…. Why Liam Joe allowed himself to feel creative and playful in his life which was a complete gamechanger and turned his life around forever.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who I'll be honest with I stumbled across on the web. And every now and again you see something on a website or about page that you think "Yeah that is spot on in every-way" Well today's guest had a line about how she operated in her business at the beginning which said "I pretended to have my shit together in a life-coach imposter kind of way" Wow, let's think about this. This is a lady who was happy to say, look guys I am working at this everyday of the week. I have good days and bad, and sometimes very bad. But I keep on coming back to it, as it's what I wanted to do. And aren't we glad she did, as now she is rocking and rolling as a relationship coach from her base in Canada, where she coaches clients across the world in how to build the strongest relationships in the world. She is a TEDx alumni, international trainer, coach and writer, and with a BA in Sociology and as a certified Life Coach, she has provided guidance to people from every walk of life and income bracket to improve and empower their lives for over 25 years. As they say "She has a knack for simplifying the most complex problems into small doable steps that create lasting change." So did she always want to be in the relationship business and deal with peoples problems in such an intimate and powerful way? And where does she see this all going? Is she on the hot spot of her timeline or still working towards something in her life? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Beth Hanishewski Show Highlights. During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Beth Hanishewski such as: Beth admits that she is a tragic marketer, but is always blown away that people can find her online, which will always come down to being good at what she does!. Why she feels that she became a relationship coach by accident, and explains how she now loves being paid for doing something that she loves...but that wasn't always the case. and lastly…. Why it is so important to live through real world relationships and experiences and get something from every stage you encounter.

Todays guest entrepreneur joining us on the top rated podcast inter Join Up Dots is a slight departure from what we have seen recently. Elizabeth grew up in New York State, where she sang pop songs by Madonna around the house and started writing her own pop songs at an early age. Then when she was nine years old her school music teacher told her she had the voice of an opera singer, and took her to see her first opera. Her great-grandfather was a virtuoso musician who signed with Victor Records in the 1890’s, but no one else in her family ever listened to classical music. Which is a really interesting position to find yourself in. Most people will struggle with fighting their way to a new future even if they are surrounded by people that have the same passion as them. But find yourself in a world, where very few people understand what is going on inside you then it comes down to a huge amount of hustle muscle, and personal belief. And so she worked at her talent, found the right people to work with and a few years later sang her first classical piece, and has never looked back. But even more interesting is her refusal to do things any other way than her own, and is blending many different styles into her repertoire, even comedy with an off the wall version of “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer. So with all the avenues in front of her to travel, how does she make the decisions that will be right for her own career, and not dilute her natural born talent? And does she embrace the hustle that it takes to build a career, or would she like to just get up there and belt them out? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Elizabeth Tyron. Today's show is a coaching based episode whereby David Ralph, the host of Join Up Dots, and founder of Dream Starters Academy Coaching talks about his week and how he has come to the realisation that everybody needs more confidence in their lives. After talking to a couple of listeners this week, discussing their businesses and their lives it become evident that the number one thing that was holding them back is the belief that the results that they will get may not be good. They are unwilling to put themselves into a situation where the work they are doing behind the scenes could turn out to be not as good as they hope it will be. They are unwilling to test out the perfection they feel that have in their hands. And that is the problem with perfection...we want to cherish and protect to keep that perfection real in our mind. But that is not the way that life is, and its certainly not the way that we should be operating. What is the point in having something beautiful in our lives if we aren't allowing the world to see that beauty? There is no point at all. So in this episode of Join Up Dots, your host David Ralph gives you his view on what makes confidence and how we can take small actions everyday to grow that much needed belief system in ourselves. He also tells a story about one of the biggest listeners that Join Up Dots has Mr Mike Buckerfield from Wales, and the life-changing battle with Welsh Ninjas that he had this week. And of course we hit part three of the Gargle Game, the online phenomenon that is taking the world of podcasting by storm

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who first appeared back on the show on episode 433. On the show we followed his journey from a small boy born with asthma, but instead of his parents giving him medicine when he needed it and keeping him away from sport and exertion, they instead encouraged him at the age of four to go skiing. On the mountain tops, where the air is thinner would seem a strange place to send an asthmatic child, but actually they laid the first dot in his life…the love of doing things differently and a desire for adventure. As he said when asked about his desire to be a true adventurer “The notion of being an adventurer is great, the more adventurers we have in the world, the more nature will be respected. By getting closer to the environment – at 3000 metres watching the sunset, or being underwater with a clownfish, seeing the difference between corals that are alive and corals that are dying, we better understand the world around us. We, as humans, need to touch or see things for ourselves otherwise we can’t fully relate to them. If you don’t see something, you don’t feel it. I think that can be extended to everything. The more people that ride bikes around the world, the more people that climb mountains, the more people that get close to nature in any form, the more advocates we have for conservation.” And now with an additional passion of creating sustainability in mobility, he is travelling the world inspiring everyone he meets to get out there bicycles and pedal happily, with a serious message behind it all. Bicycles are simple, sustainable transportation and an essential element in disaster assistance and poverty relief. They fulfil basic needs by providing access to healthcare, education, and economic development. The mission, to provide access to independence and livelihood through the power of the bike. All interesting stuff I'm sure you'll agree. So of course we have all used bicycles for years as a form of fun and exercise, so why should we have a campaign like this when the world should be saying "Yeah, been doing it for years!" And where does he see this heading for him, into more campaigning and perhaps political aspirations? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr. Manuel Bustelo Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Manuel Bustelo such as: Why being an adventurer is such an amazing life, although it doesn't remove the financial difficulties that plagues most businesses like you might think How he was inspired to enter into the world of sustainable mobility after seeing the terrible oil spill in the Caribbean, and felt driven to tackle it head on. Why Cities like Amsterdam are taking the lead in sustainability, which proves that it can be done with the right mindset. and lastly…. How to connect with him directly to find out more information regarding this subject and where it can lead.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who has been building her entrepreneurial business since she was a young twelve year old girl interested in computers. And as we show you on the introduction and the show, a career is built by many different steps. Many different phases until you get to what looks like the natural place. The thing that you were born to do. Back in 2002 she launched her first website, a manga scanlation site (translating comics from Japanese & English into Polish) and grew it to 40K views in under 5 months and even managed a virtual staff of people who volunteered to support the growth. Jump on seven years, and she was then running a successful photography business, and this was her life for seven years, before stepping back into the corporate world when....as she she says in her own words "I worked my tail off in the marketing agency world, including a stint at a corporate ad agency as community manager and social media/email marketing strategist. This is when I got really obsessed with branding, business development, list-building and all the ways biz owners can create consistent revenue without losing their shit." The first dots had been well and truly placed, and now it was a case of joining them up with the creation of her own self named Digital Marketing Agency. This is a successful digital marketing consulting & education company where she helps modern businesses and entrepreneurs to grow their presence, make more money, and truly blow up online so they can become leaders in their field. And once again as she says "I freaking LOVE it!" So did she always know that she was gently placing the foundations in place as she went, or was each phase in her life supposed to be her legacy work? And what does she find is the hardest part of growing a business? The sales, marketing, or the hours that it takes to get it off the ground? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Kamila Gornia Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Kamila Gornia such as: We discuss the reasons why she loves marketing more than anything, and why she feels this is now a big part of her life that she couldn't leave behind. Why using your super talent and personal energy to attract clients in the world is such an amazing method of finding the abundance in your life. The ability to have persistence in your business and simply turning up everyday is such an amazing way to overcome the obstacles that life throws at us. and lastly…. How freaking weird it was that she was able to run a business as a twelve year old, a fact she now looks back on and is amazed at herself.

Todays guest entrepreneur, joining us on the Steve Jobs inspired business podcast is a man whose name came up in conversation on a previous episode of Join Up Dots. And not in a "there's this man that I know", kind of way but like "Wow, there is this amazing man who is brilliant at what he does" kind of way. And so I sought him out and I am delighted that he agreed to come on the show and start joining up his dots. Hefirst found the motivation to begin working on building his careers, as a 14 year old, in his hometown Pittsburgh, when he was hired to do a community news column for "The Signal Item," a weekly newspaper. And his life has been intertwined with both the written and spoken word ever since. He received dual degrees in Journalism and Radio-TV-Motion Pictures at the University of North Carolina and also served as news editor and anchorman which meant that by the time he graduated from the University, he had already logged over 1,000 live television broadcasts. And this all occurred before joining the military as still a young man, and tackling another big dot in his life, serving his country. Although much happened in his life leading today, you can now find him tutoring speakers, in the nuances of voice control and speech writing, or presenting keynote presentations across America and enjoying himself. He has found the freedom to create his path in his life that plays to his natural talents, and brings enjoyment to himself and everyone that he comes in contact with. And that of course is the best way to build success in your life. So what is it about being a wordsmith that appeals to him on a daily basis? And is there a thrill to performing live that he doesn't get anywhere else in his life? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only expert wordsmith todays entrepreneur Lou Heckler

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is an only twenty seven years old, but he seems to have packed in several decades of work and hustle in such a short period of time. He has been an entrepreneur in the eCommerce industry since 2009 and has grown into a leading expert in the field with experience managing multi-million dollar businesses. But of course we are most interested in what he is doing today. What is getting him excited everyday when he jumps out of bed? Well he is the Founder and CEO of FreeeUp a company that he started 2015 after spending 7+ years interviewing, hiring, and training remote workers. He decided that there must be a better way for eCommerce companies to hire remote workers without having to spend hours interviewing and finding the most reliable people. A year later and FreeeUp is a rapidly growing company interviewing hundreds of worker applicants each week and providing remote workers for hundreds of clients. He has found a gap in the market place and filled it with his experience and passion allowing it to flourish. And with his extensive knowledge in creating business systems and processes, personnel management, hiring remote workers, the Amazon Marketplace, and advanced sales tactics this is going to get bigger and bigger. But does he see this as his legacy work, or simply something that is moving him closer and closer towards his goals? And what does he enjoy the most in his work….the creation, or the customer satisfaction? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr. Nathan Hirsch Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Nathan Hirsch such as: How Nathan has developed the abilities to bounce back from every failure that has hit him, ensuring that he has learnt from those hard-times before moving forward. The story of the trip to Myrtle Beach, where he suffered a huge client loss and identity fraud all within a few hours…tipping his world on its axis. Why you should always look to start hiring as soon as you can in your business, to allow yourself free time to do the stuff that you are best at. and lastly…. Why he has set up his company to have three levels of staff, to boost the quality of the work, and to maintain greater control on standards and systems..very wise decision indeed.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is with a lady who I am pleased to say in a very short time has become a very good friend to me. She is without a doubt a bit mad, has bright purple hair (and you dont say that very often unless you live on Sesame Street) and is the most passionate person I have ever met in regards to making people shine as guests on a podcast. Living in Ontario Canada, she is on a mission to help the world grow organic traffic in the most personal way possible – direct into the ears of customers across the world. What is more inspiring is how she managed to find herself in a job that quite simply shocked me when I found out and then decide that it wasn’t for her and transitioned to become who she is today. A few years ago she was a prison guard, not perhaps with bright purple hair, and had very much lost her mojo. She wanted more than what she was experiencing She wanted more of her life to be under her own control and so went after it big-time? But that’s easy to say, but very different when you actually decide to go after something new. So how do you make that transition when everything is within the routine of normal life? How do you look around and decide that what you have you don’t want, and what you don’t have is what you do want…and then make it happen? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Nicole Holland.

Todays guest on Join Up Dots, is a teacher, a mom, student of life, a speaker, bestselling author, eTV host, former radio host, executive coach, and mentor. But before you think that this is a lady who mentors you by helping you find the “Inner Self” that is just waiting for you to tap into, then think again. She isn’t one those ladies that help find your inner potential and whoosh like a rocket ship, you will shoot your way to your true future. The kind of future that you deserve. Our guest instead has found that you can live your Ultimate Success, by studying the consistencies or repetitions in history, the reasons behind “what happened”. What are the patterns that occur time and time again that can send us on the slippery slope to despair and failure, and what are the ones that will lead us onto success. With her proven 5-step program, she helps all of us identify our consistencies and which of those consistencies require our attention as they may be those patterns that prevent you from having all the success you can have. As she says “After all, if we keep doing the same thing, how can we expect different outcomes?” Now this seems to me to be an amazingly common sense approach to me, so why do we not a focus in on the power of patterns in our own lives? And can she see a time in her life, when this wasn’t something that she was aware off too? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Dr Natalie Forest Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics such as: Why she feels it so important to be able to disconnect from technology to give 100% attention to the people of the world. How she always remembers having a desire to be a teacher, or a mentor in her life, even as a very small child. How you can start to assess your own history, by looking at the things that make you happy, and what causes your stress levels to occur. How she has now got to the point of not excepting societies “Yes” and “No” and will make the big decisions better than ever before And lastly….. How she can’t wait to buy a BMW motor bike, and drive fast down the freeways of Baltimore loving being 100% herself.
