Entrepreneur Success Stories With Join Up Dots - Confidence, Motivation & Entertainment To Kick Start Your Online Career

My guest today, on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who is a top ranked boxing prospect and also Trinidad & Tobago’s boxing ambassador. He is also is a sought after model who has been photographed around the world since the age of 17. And when you see the photos ladies (and of course men too) that fact doesn’t come as a surprise What does come as a surprise though, is this guy, with a highly tuned competitive streak was so obviously looking for the non-obvious route that could fulfil his dreams. Growing up he was involved in a variety of sports. He loved soccer, basketball, football, baseball and swimming and at just 10 years old started playing basketball and continued playing throughout college. At 16 he was already a certified lifeguard and a highly recruited athlete in multiple sports. In his senior year of high school he was recruited to play basketball for several NCAA Division 1 and 2 schools. Now this is when one of the big twists occured in his life, or as we say he hit one of his big dots. College proved to be quite a defining time for him, he started as a Kinesiology major, but after just one single acting course, he found that he had discovered his love and passion for acting and switched his major to Theatre. It wasn’t long after this revelation that the acting gigs began pouring in. He landed his first commercial and this was quickly followed by a well-known television ad with Nike. Now he could have said “This is easy” and coasted a bit, but instead he set out to become the very best that he can be in this new found arena. He started defining his craft, by studying at The Second City and Groundlings, schools who boast of alumni including Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, Seth Rogan and Steve Carell. He added to his training by studying at The Ivana Chubbuck Studio that has trained Hollywood’s elite such as Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, Terence Howard and more. He knew if he was going to be the best he had to surround himself with the best that Hollywood can offer. And now away from the acting he is training for the Olympics, and once again surrounds himself with the best by fighting out of the world famous Wild Card Boxing Club, home to superstar world champions. So what has these diverse uses of his time and talents taught him, as he drives forwards with his ambitions? And is better to become very very good at one thing, or be diverse as he has been up to this point? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Daniel Hayes. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics with Daniel Hayes such as: How “The Revenant”is a truly boring film, no matter how many awards it gains across the film industry…..but why it has an amazing message for all entrepreneurs too! Why Mike Tyson would always get up at [4:00]am in the morning to go running, because all his competitors are asleep, and the reasons behind the decision to do this. Why being in the flow and present in the moment is the state that we must all aim for no matter what arena we put ourselves….it’s where the huge wins are found. And lastly…. Who he would choose to be in later years Mickey Rourke or Leo DiCaprio, and the reasons why he believes that both are masters of their art.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who may not be well known, but the situation that he found himself certainly is. He is an inspirational survivor, speaker, and author and part of the miracle that occurred back in 2009. When travelling back on a normal commuter flight for his job as an application sales manager for Oracle he found himself in a situation that most people would wish that they weren't in. However our guest reviewed it in a very different manner. When US Airways Flight 1549, or “The Miracle on the Hudson,” ditched into the Hudson River on January 15, 2009, he knew he was exactly where he was supposed to be. The last passenger off the back of the plane on that fateful day, he was largely responsible for the well-being and safety of others, risking his own life in frigid water to help other passengers off the plane. Despite the hazards to himself, he thought only of helping others and emerged from the wreckage with a mission: to encourage others to do the right thing. Today, he travels the globe sharing his inspirational and motivational leadership messages to help people make a difference in how they do business and live their lives. So of course the miracle was that every single person survived, so would he feel differently operating in this new field if the result was tragic against miraculous? And does he feel that the majority people in life need something to shake them from the routine and comfortable zones that we all live in to really get the future they deserve? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Dave Sanderson

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who seems is really hitting his stride and finding his thing in life. He is on a mission to show us all how we can create a better us by being aware of what we are putting into our bodies, and what actions we are taking on a daily basis. Now e have seen these fitness guys time and time again, bring to the world some new diet or fad which for many is very hard to maintain after the initial buzz of tacking something new. But our guest believes that we should do it a different way. And instead of forcing these principles in to our life and hope that they fit, we should look to tailor our life and go about it a very different way. As he says " Back in the day I was in a pretty bad shape. The truth is I never realised how bad I felt until I finally started to feel better and this is the unfortunate reality that so many people don’t even realise they are living in everyday. It wasn’t until I nearly lost my dad to cancer and saw the pain and suffering he went through during the treatment (including 25 days in ICU, having most of his bowel surgically removed, being placed on life support and kept alive through the use breathing machines on two separate occasions, as well has having a tracheostomy) that it dawned on me how much of an influence his lifestyle choices had on causing the disease. From a diet high in sugar and processed foods, to being a pack-a-day smoker who did no exercise, all combined with having an overwhelmingly stressful career, working 14-hour days, with a minimal amount of sleep, it’s no surprise it took a toll on his health. That’s why I made it my mission to help as many people as possible avoid going through what happened to my dad." And now with his Become A Better You Book flying of the shelves at Amazon and his brand new seven day challenge now filling up nicely there is never a better time to have him on the show to join up some dots. So was there are moment when he realised that physically he was improving at a rate of knots, or was it a gradual process over a period of time? And what can we all do today to start getting into the mindset of making 2017 our greatest year ever? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr. Byron Morrison

Today's guest, joining us on Join Up Dots, is Fab Giovanetti, a lady who has quite simply trod a path that so many of us tread at first when going after the dream. Setting to work building her dream, she slowly began instead to build a nightmare in its place. Unreasonably long hours, hunched over her laptop, she worked 3 jobs, saying goodbye to her friends and weekends and quite simply wondered "What was the point in doing this? But at the point of darkness, when things cant get any darker you have two choices Number one sit down and stay in the dark, or number two push on until the dark is replaced by light and you come blazing out into your sun filled future. Well that is what out guests did, and instead of remaining in the dark she realised that it was time to learn from the best. So she studied the best entrepreneurs, thought leaders and guys and ladies who looked like they were having a blast. And little by little she turned her life around and now this former PR and marketing strategist and Music editor inspires people across the world to consume passion like its going out of fashion. Become a passion junkie she literally shouts across the world, and live a life so great that others will wonder how you did it. Leave them wondering she says and in her own words "When life gives you lemons, make orange juice and leave the world wondering how you did it." So how did this lady from Italy, find herself inspiring the world? And do you need to be inspire yourself first and foremost, or is it others that light your own personal spark? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Fab Giovanetti.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a New Zealander who has lived in London for 10 years, She is an expert in business growth and entrepreneurship, and has overcome extreme personal trauma to become a leading expert in her field. Having become a mother in New Zealand 15 years ago, whilst supporting a client during their multi-billion dollar merger – she later experienced the trauma of multiple pregnancies (12 babies in total including conceiving triplets), sadly without giving birth to another child. Through a period of personal discovery, she successfully overcame the huge emotional trauma that this period in her life involved. She is now keen to use this experience to help others identify how they can use the vulnerability they have experienced, which could be fear, failure, grief, sadness or shame, and turn it into power - regaining control of their lives and becoming successful in business and in life as they define it. Heartbreaking and life changing information I'm sure you will agree. But her life now only seems to be going one way. Into a world leaping out of bed, excited by the possibilities that are coming her way. As she says "I passionately believe that entrepreneurs should not be a slave to their businesses, rather they need to control them, enabling the entrepreneur to enjoy a full personal and family life too. I hope that I lead by example, enjoying an entrepreneurial career while also participating in many other of my life's passions and personal interests." So what made her take on the bold decisions in life instead of crawling into a tight ball and letting the world pass her by? And has she ever been the classic entrepreneur checking her emails, and twitter feed five times a minute, or has she always seen the right way to do stuff? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Adele McLay

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is with a man who has had a fascinating and arduous journey to where he is today. He is the founder of The Executive JOY Institute, and specializes in teaching organizations, leaders, and individuals how to become even more successful through psychology, emotional intelligence, and mindfulness. Which if you have listened to episodes of Join Up Dots you will have heard similiar guests speak of such work. Where today's guest differs is by the age of thirty-five, he had founded three international software companies, played semi-professional basketball (yes, he’s really six-foot nine!), and partied at the Playboy Mansion which sounds pretty amazing life affirming stuff. But our guest didn't agree and knew that he wasn't happy. Hard drugs, alcohol, a divorce, and a nasty lawsuit brought him to a low point where he needed to ask himself the big questions in life. A quest for change included earning a master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology from the prestigious University of Santa Monica. And now he has taught leaders around the world, from Panama to the Philippines to Australia and Mexico, and has worked with a broad range of clients, including Microsoft and SAP So is he what he would consider to be happy now or still searching for something unattainable to him......simple contentment in life? And why does he think that we all set out on a path that appears to be wrong at the beginning even thouh the clues are all around us? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr R Michael Anderson

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady with a kind of bio that you don’t often see. As it says “What do you do when Alzheimers runs in your family and you fear you see early symptoms in yourself, too? She didn’t waste a single moment: She quit her job as a national award-winning teacher to pursue her lifelong dream to be a road comic. And her life has become one amazing adventure! She has entertained U.S. troops in Iraq & Kuwait; performed in comedy clubs in 40 states; and has been to Africa 4 times to perform for Ugandan audiences in two of their tribal languages, as well as going on an epic trek in search of wild mountain gorillas. What makes this so show so different is unlike so many of our guests who are escaping from a job they dont like, or guest loved her job she was trying to escape from something that went so much deeper than that. She realised due to the illnesses in her family that we are all living on borrowed time, and leaving something until tomorrow may well mean that it will never actually occur. Our buckets lists start overflowing with lost dreams, wishes and amazing experiences. And now with her book “A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO DEMENTIA: A Stand Up Comedian’s Race Against Time”, being published by Motivational Press does she look back and think “I should have done this earlier?” Or is life simply a series of dots that have to be crossed before you can truly find the thing that you want to do in life? Todays guest on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a fellow podcaster who has a great mission in life. He is a man who is an expert in helping couples find the spark in their once vibrant relationships. He helps build bridges where there are chasms to cross. He inspires conversation where there is simply silence. And he encourages bedroom passions, where there are just snores and sleeping. But if this sounds like a man who has lived a life of perfect relationships and harmonious connections then think again. As he says “Early in life, I learned about the heartache that comes when love doesn’t work. Coming into this world, I was fatherless, and the youngest of three. Life in Medellin, Colombia wasn’t easy. My Mother was 25 years old, addicted to cocaine, and didn’t have any interest in taking care of her three kids. When I was five years old my Mother was murdered. I was homeless for three years until I was finally adopted. My life was transformed! I had a Mother, Father, and was surrounded by a loving family in America. Soon after though, my adopted parents divorced. I was left confused and feeling like I couldn’t rely on love. I made up my mind that love doesn’t last and turned to spirituality for the connection I was seeking. For nearly a decade, I devoted my life to becoming a monk. My path into spirituality taught me a great deal—But no matter how much I learned there was something missing. That all changed when I met my first love. With her I found what I was searching for. I found someone I could be completely authentic and open with and someone who could see all of me. Falling in love was one of the most amazing experiences. It was much more than any meditation or spiritual experience could offer. Then she broke my heart and left.” So he has had some serious moments in his life, which could have left him saying “Why me?….What’s the point in loving?” But instead he has been left with “How can I help you?” Well let’s bring onto the show to start joining up dots, as we discuss the words of Steve Jobs in todays Free podcast, with the one and only Luis Congdon. Show Highlights During the show we discussed such weighty topics as: How he now feels that there is no such thing that can fall into the camp of impossible, and its simply up to him to find the way to achieve his dreams. How he loves that he can now surround himself with the movers and shakers of the world and is surprised by the skill he has for networking. How he had one really bad night with his peer group, which affected him to such a degree that his life was never going to be the same again. How he is very aware of trying to learn from the people who have developed their zone of genius by researching the work ethic that got them to where they want to be. And lastly…….. How Richard Branson has mastered the ability of separating himself from the processes that most entrepreneurs get caught up with, and brings his true value to the table everyday.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who seems to me was certainly born with the entrepreneurial genes.

Starting his first business at age 11, (even hiring his parents for logistics support), over the last quarter century he’s started and owned more than 30 different companies including an insurance agency, precious metals firms, a venture capital company, a coaching and consulting firm, and more than a dozen real estate investment and development companies.

He’s also the founder of Yokido ™, his own martial arts and holds 3 other black belts.

But it hasn’t all been plain sailing in his life, as by age 27  he became a millionaire, and then lost everything (including his Ferrari, girlfriend, and even his dog) before going again in a new direction.

But it seems to me that at his core he is a man who believes in personal control, and having the ability to show the world how we can free ourselves from the control that money worries have over our lives.

By learning the ways to simplify investments, and taking the mystery out how to make money work for us, we will all have a better standard of living, life and health too.

The life that most of us would say was the dream.

Today, he resides in Austin Texas and is the Founder and CEO of Total Control Financial, a company who are obsessed with Disrupting Wall Street & Empowering Main Street, and as we said showing the world the promised land.

So the big questions are, did he need to lose everything to be able to gain the clarity of financial knowledge that he now has?

And what is the number one mistake that people make when attempting to gain financial freedom

Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Damion Lupo.
