Todays guest joining us on Join Up Dots, is a man who is tackling an issue that is in so many ways bigger than one man can tackle.
But that is not stopping him.
In fact the enormity seems to spur him on to greater and greater achievements.
From his home in Senegal Africa, he has founded R.I.S.E an organisation to help counter the unemployment issue that is affecting so many young adults and their families in his country.
He is trying to inspire and encourage a new generation of Young Africans to believe that they can become entrepreneurial and create their own incomes.
He is trying to change mind-sets, so the unemployed can start thinking of ways of creating their own economy and changing their own lives.
What makes this program so fascinating is how our guest brings together education, fitness, Language studies, inspiration and communication to give his students the greatest chance to achieve.
He builds a foundation of achievement before certifying the students as graduating his course and setting them off to go for their dreams..
So what was it that got the fires burning to start establishing these centres across Africa?
And how did he overcome those initial fears that stop so many great ideas from even finding their first faltering steps.
Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to sqtrt joining up dots with the one and only Mr Badou Kane

My guest today on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is Leslie Sann, a lady who has joined me in bed every night for the last few weeks.
No, not in the way that you are thinking, and probably not they way she is hopes its not either.
But she presented me with a copy of her new book “LIFE HAPPENS What Are YOU Going to Do About It?” and I have been reading a chapter a night, and it’s a great little book of stories, insights and exercises to take your life to where it wants to be.
And the main thing that the book rams home time and time again, is that life should be easy.
We should enjoy everyday and find better ways of doing stuff when life seems to hard for us to deal with.
She is the founder of Living by Design, an educational coaching organization, where for more than 25 years she has been helping people live a joyful life by showing them how to live by design rather than by default.
Make the right thing happens by conscious thought, and not just get pushed around by what life throws at you.
So did she get to a point in her own life when she thought “Enough is enough, its time to make life what I want it to be”
And does she see that most people can build the dream life, or is there a select special group of forward thinkers that get the dream?
Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Leslie Sann.

My guest today on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is, Nina Kaufman a lady who is on one hand a career focused business lady with a huge interest in law and on the other someone quite different..
Yes, she is the founding is a founding partner of Paltrowitz & Kaufman, and also a founder of Wise Counsel Press, which offers legal advice for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Seems pretty standard doesn’t it, and if you are like me you already have an image of who we are going to talk to today.
But then how about if we tell you that she was also a stand up comedian, and loves nothing more than bringing humour into her work as a business lawyer?
Yeah, now you are interested aren’t you!
Receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College (cum laude), her Master’s degree from the London School of Economics & Political Science, and her law degree from Boston University, she layered education on to the passions she had since a young girl to use the law to help change lives.
She saw the film “To Kill A Mocking Bird” and quite simply the passion for helping change occur became something that she couldn’t deny.
But it seems to me that a key part to what has made he who she is today occurred in her first role straight out of law school
As she says in her own words “I was working with a firm that had a revolving door of attorneys and support staff. Employee morale was low. The partners were often verbally abusive; they yelled a lot. My first experience was one where I realized I was going to have to fend for myself and that I couldn’t really rely on all the old assumptions that I had gone through much of law school with. It’s one of the reasons I became much more entrepreneurial in the way that I handled my practice and the clients I chose and what I’ve done with my J.D. since then.”
Another black dot actually became the keystone to future successes.
So why was she driven to go into stand up comedy when her life was built around serious issues and high level business stress?
And is she now where wants to be, or is their even more dots to join up on the way to to her final destination?
Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Nina Kaufman.

My guest today, on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is Tex Allen, a fascinating man, who has taken something so simple, and so common to us all and created something astonishing.
Our guest, wears a red nose everyday, one of the comic relief ones that most of us have had tucked away in a draw at home.
But he is not a clown, but a man using this item to break barriers, connect across the world, and open up conversations that would have otherwise remained closed.
This all started when he started getting annoyed by bumping into people in a local mall that had their noses glued to their phones and tablets.
Frustrated by the disconnection in the world, where even the cashiers who rang up his transactions seemed to have forgotten how to have an authentic, human interaction he too action.
And so on a whim, he decided to put on a clown nose he’d recently been gifted at a friend’s wedding before going into a Starbucks for a post-shopping coffee break.
He needed something to cheer him up and decided that since no one pays attention to each other anyway, he might as well do something fun.
And that has now lead him to creating a movement which is global, fun, and all about getting us connected again.
So did it have to be a nose, or could anything have done the trick?
And does he ever feel embarrassed by wearing this everyday, or does it actually make him feel truly authentic?
Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Tex Allen

My guest today on the Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who can call himself a global mindset coach, with clients across the world who seek him out to help them go to the next level.
From entrepreneurs, world champions, professional sports athletes, multi-millionaire business owners, TV and film producers, TV and stage actors, trauma survivors and even Royal Family have all benefited from his skills.
But what fascinates me, is coming from Liverpool he would have found himself surrounded with friends and families who are just looking to get by.
He would have been on a path like so many of us that is almost expected.
Study hard, leave school, get a job, start a family….you get the drift.
But our guest didn’t do that, instead he left everything behind and traveled to Sydney Australia, where he discovered Neuro Linguistic Programming in a sales and marketing environment.
Breaking multiple sales records whilst helping clients successfully structure and invest in real-estate and at the top of the business in Australia, he was head-hunted to New Zealand.
There he began to share his skills with CEO’s and again being in high demand was prospected to many companies, helping them develop their sales teams and set up internal departments.
At the age of only 26 he opened a company developing a project to build a 100 Million dollar resort in the Fiji Islands. After marketing the company over in Dubai along side multi billion dollar developments the global real-estate industry began to slow down and he had a decision to make.
After so much success would he batten down the hatches and go into survival mode?
Or would he do the unexpected and get bigger, opening his arms wide and screaming “Come on world its me, just watch what I can do!”
