Every weekend we go back in time and dip into the Join Up Dots vaults to find a show that could well be hidden from your ears. And why do we do this? Well, you success junkies desperate for the golden ticket have been asking "With so many episodes of Join Up Dots out there now, which ones should we listen to first? And its a difficult question to answer as everyone of them has motivation and inspiration flooding out of every pore. So we have simply decided to grab an entrepreneur at random, and share with you not only their journey, but also ours. We think we are getting better at this podcasting lark, but what do you think? Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know. Thanks as always for listening to the show, and enjoy todays entrepreneurial business chat. Todays guest is one of those guests that might seem easy to pigeonhole when you first look at him. But once you start digging down, you realise that there is so much more to him than most other artists operating within his creative area. A native of Virginia and a devoted family man, he first started making the world sit up and take notice of him when he jumped into the music world in 1996, and made his professional debut to rave reviews with the New York City Opera as Ralph Rackstraw in H.M.S. Pinafore. And although he certainly has got a set of pipes on him, that can belt out the huge opera numbers that you might be aware of, he unsually allows his voice to demonstrate many other types of music from pop, to Buble, stage musicals, to the Rat Pack. He believes that the music is only half of what he brings to the audience. Its the whole show that sets him apart from the stand in one spot and belt out the song type of performers. And now alongside his family, who are also amazing singers, he is taking his talent to the world. He was named “Best Male Recording Artist” of the year in 2001, 2004, and 2006 by the FCMA and has been released three solo recordings on the Shadow Mountain Label “Wondrous Love”, “Then Sings My Soul” and “A New Song” all of which have received numerous accolades and awards, including several Pearl awards So what is it about himself, that unlike so many people who would class family as the thing that stops their dreams, made him willing to give it ago? And has been surprised at how brutal the music industry is, now he is fully established in its world? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only George Dyer.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a lady who came to the show in an unusal way.
A kind of joining up the dots scenario if I ever saw one.
First of all, I started getting told of this remarkable book "How Big Is Your But?" which my coaching group were raving about time and time again.
"You have to get this lady on the show David" they cried.
And then maybe another five times her name popped up in front of me screaming "What are you waiting for....get her on the show!"...and so I did.
But who is she, you are screaming at me?
Who is this lady
She is a Certified Clinical and Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, and the Director and Instructor of the Orlando Florida Externship Program for The Institute of Interpersonal Hypnotherapy.
She is passionate about teaching because she knows the power of this work, personally and professionally and the importance of training qualified practitioners.
She has worked in ICU, Trauma/ER and Recovery Room. so as she says "It was a natural transition to pursue a career as a Hypnotherapist,as becuase of this experience, I was inspired by the powerful mind / body connection and how self–awareness and reframing negative thoughts helps us heal emotionally and physically."
And now with her book flying on the shelves, she is bringing these learnings to an ever increasing client base, who are stuck in their own lives and need her help.
So how is it that some people can find the way through to where they want to be, whilst others just keep going around and around in circles?
And is it easy to do, if we only stop and ask the right questions. The questions that lead us to look
Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Rene Brent

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who was introduced to the show by a previous guest and personal friend of mine Laura Steward.
She said to me “David, why the hell have I not introduced you to this amazing guest before?”
And I said “I dont know Laura, only you know the answer to that!”
Well, introduced us she did, and aren’t I glad that he is now here, as he is a man who is doing things in a very different way to many people that I have spoken to on the show.
He has worked in the high technology and software industries since 1978 as a programmer, salesman, field sales engineer and marketer and has joined up many dots that has now allowed him to start living a life full of passion.
He is the author of Selling Steve Jobs’ Liver?” which is a bizarre title for a book, but seems a perfect one for Join Up Dots once you start reading it.
And he is also the author of “In Search of Stupidity: Over 20 Years of High-Tech Marketing Disasters,” too.
But that is just one side of how he also juggles his time and passions, as away from the typewriter he is also the editor of Softletter, and happens to also be the COO of a new SaaS startup too.
So has writing about startups and entrepreneurial legends given him the secret steps that guarantee success?
And does he see an explosion of entrepreneurs coming our way due to the success of shows like this, where quite frankly they should stay as far away as they can from being the next startup?
Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Rick Chapman.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a successful entrepreneur, an online marketing consultant with over a decade of experience, and a nationally award-winning website designer.
He has worked with clients around the United States and internationally— ranging from tech startups to some of the largest manufacturing and construction companies and now brings his knowledge as he now teaches Online Marketing Made Easy .
Now this is all interesting stuff, but the main thing that sets this guy apart is the ability to take action. To step up to the plate and swing, even when most people would have said “Just want a few more months until you are graduated” for example. You see when he was still studying at the University of Pittsburgh, working on getting a degree in Information Science and a minor in Computer Science he launched his first business. Kashurba Multi Media was launched to the world, and eventually he turned this into a business and started taking on clients. As his web design business grew he went from building $300 websites to crafting $30,000 websites and managing enormous advertising budgets. He now leads a virtual team with clients around the world. and now advises and mentors freelance web designers and digital agency owners on how to develop and scale their businesses. So what makes him a man who screams to the world “I can’t wait and I won’t wait”? And is it as simple to say that the ones that start the quickest have the best chance to surivie the startup and flourish? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Joe Kashurba

Todays show is a weekend rewind of a guest on Join Up Dots who was first introduced to the show by the brilliant Cathy O'Dowd who appeared on the show way back on episode 88. Now this episode is going to get us all thinking about what is possible in life. And what we are capable of achieving, as the first thing that appeared when I checked her website out were these great words " Life is a journey to find out what you are capable of, yet it is one that people often shy away from" She is an explorer and lover of the big challenges in life. But life didn't start in such a grand fashion, as like most of us she started her career in a corporate gig, and worked for British Gas. Although it is true to say that even within an environment like this, she was out to prove a few things and became one the youngest employees ever to reach a Senior Management Role within the organisation. But it was when made the decision to spend 3 moths in Kenya on her first expedition that her life truly changed forever It was then she could start to see the first footsteps on the path that she has traveled ever since, and developed her belief that she was capable of more than she imagined possible.. In 2013, she celebrated twenty five years since she made her that first expedition to Kenya, And since then she became the first British woman to ski to the Magnetic North Pole, which led onto expeditions to Antarctica, the Geographical North Pole and skiing with an international team across the Greenland Ice Cap. These expeditions taught her the realities of leadership, managing change and maintaining motivation, which she now helps business leaders put into practice today through corporate coaching and keynote presentations. So why did she decide to do that first three months in Kenya, and did she have to quit her job to do it, or did she have lovely bosses that allowed such a huge amount of annual leave? And as we find time and time again on Join Up Dots, is it the true hardships that we learn from most, or do they just point us to the direction we should be moving? Well let's find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Sue Stockdale.

Today's episode of Join Up Dots poses a very big question. And that question is "Is My Relationship Holding Me Back?" You see so many listeners of join up dots are inspired on a daily basis to create their dream life, and take big bold actions after listening to our episodes. We fan the flames to take the kind of actions that will increase your income, boost your love life, and allow you to have the kind of amazing experiences that are a wow. And then they get home and it's back into the humdrum life that they have created for themselves. They tell their partners about what they want to achieve in their lives, but instead of getting a "Go for it, I will support you!" they get something quite different. "Why do you want to do this?" "We are great as we are already aren't we?" The kind of responses that root you to the spot, and makes momentum building almost impossible. So what do you need to do when you want to change direction, but the relationship that you are in is not interested? Well in today's episode of Join Up Dots we give you five steps to take in your own time, to assess what needs to be done in your life. Big questions are required to be answered in your life and they start here. Thanks so much for listening to this episode of Join Up Dots and we look forward to answering all your questions. Just drop us a line to email@example.com and we will get your message onto the show. Thanks

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who for many people across the world needs no introduction.
He is one of the worlds best selling authors, a musician and one of the most popular and powerful copywriters from the past 25 years and expert in the Law of Attraction.
Born on December 29th 1953, in Nile, Ohio our guest was raised in a household like millions across America.
It was a household that was hardworking but didnt have a lot of money to spend on luxuries.
But there was support, and love, and a roof over his head.
Step on a few years, and our guests life had turned on its head, leaving him at a position that many people would have struggled to overcome.
He found himself homeless, broke and alone in Dallas, far from home.
He lost his entire savings, about $1000, to a company promising overseas pipeline work.
But instead of getting himself back to place he called home, he was was too embarrassed to return to Ohio.
Instead he survived the streets of Dallas, sleeping at the bus station, on the steps of a post office and in church pews.
However instead of playing the victom, he focused 100% on the vision that he wanted in his life. To be an author of inspirational books.
And little by little he held firm to this vision and changed his circumstances, to become the inspiration to millions that he is today.
So when he was at his darkest points, were they really dark or just a moment that helped point the way to the future he wanted.
And with his every increasing awards, and accolades, and of course wealth occuring everyday could he go back with the confidence that he could repeat the journey once more?
Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Dr Joe Vitale

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who as soon as he connected with me I thought "I need to have him on the show" First he is British, and you can't fail to love a bit of British can you? Secondly his email subject was simply "An Entrepreneur Who Lost His Mind" You can't fail to love a bit of Insane British can you? As he says "I’ve spent most of my life feeling sort of… broken. Especially in the brain department. As a teenager and young adult, I was secretly crippled with social anxiety. Going into any social situation involving anyone I wasn’t super close to would, to put it technically, cause an internal shit storm. At one point I couldn’t even leave the house without getting embarrassing sweat stains under the arms, even in the dead of winter. After managing to bury all this deep inside me (cos that's what a 'real man' does), I tried to somewhat get on with a normal adult life. I went to university, got a job, quit, got qualified as a personal trainer and embarked on a career in health and fitness that ended up with me owning my own studio. Then I hit a brick wall. Despite finally having a growing business that I’d worked my balls off for, I was miserable, overworked and monumentally lonely. In fact, I was depressed. So I gave up on what I thought was my dream business. I sold the equipment, referred all my lovely clients to other trainers and even sold my car and many other possessions. And I embarked on a journey to discover what the hell was going on in my head and heart that was preventing me from being that seemingly elusive combination of happy and successful. And when you listen to his podcast "The Enlightened Entrepreneurial Badasses" Podcast" episode one you can see that this is a guy who realises that you start with whats in your heart. And then program your brain to be able to achieve it. A quick two step, that is ready to be taken, is so simple, but so complicated at the same time. So when you hear this guy talk about the hustle he has taken to get his own business. The long hours it took. Was he always on a path to losing his mind, or could he have done something so different? And is he truly happy where he is, or is he still on the path to losing his mind, just in a different setting? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Michael Glover

Jack Canfield knows a bit about creating success in his life, with book sales in the millions. So its a delight as we do every weekend, to go back in time and dip into the Join Up Dots vaults to find a show that could well be hidden from your ears in this case Mr Jack Canfield.
Today’s guest quite simply needs no introduction, but hey what kind of host would I be if I didn’t build him up for the big entrance?
Well lets start with saying its rare that you will see a bookshelf or a library that doesn’t have one of his publications sitting amongst their ranks.
He is the author of the astonishingly successful series of books, that are the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series, that has been sold the world over, and counts sales as somewhere beyond 500 million copies worldwide.
And the fact that Oprah can hardly state three words without speaking about her love for this book, then you know he has created something special.
But his life hasn’t always been one of success, and with three marriages under his belt and a less than spectacular start to his professional life, he knows both sides of what makes a fully realised life.
He has worked for a living as a psychotherapist, an educational consultant, and a trainer to name a few, but it was when he met Mr Mark Victor Hansen co-author of the Chicken Soup Series that things started to move in the direction that he visualised for himself.
And through those life experiences, or up and downs, successes and failures, he learnt the Success Principles, that he found were the key to create the life that you want.
And now ten years later from it first being released, he is re-publishing it, with greater insights as to what can make an amazing life, he is a man on a vision.
So does he see the up and downs are actually the key points to what gives a life success, are they the foundations to maintain the momentum gained?
And does he get told by every waiter in the world “Ah Mr Canfield, I expect you want to have the Chicken Soup tonight, ho ho ho!”
Well let’s find out as its with delight, that we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Jack Canfield.

My guest today, on the Steve Jobs inspired Join Up Dots free podcast interview is a man who I’ll be honest I should have had on the show along time ago. As he is someone that quite simply can put me in my place, and show us all how to create a podcast, a podcast movement and still have his own hair and teeth in the process. Nobody said it was easy after all! Starting his career back in 1995 on Tunbridge Wells Hospital Radio, it was obvious that he had set out on a path that was always going to be his own. One linked to his love for radio, and one that was linked with his passion for content creation. Then in 1997 things started to get serious, as he started seeking out work experience with many of the household names that make up national UK radio, and it’s more localised stations. He worked for BBC World Service, Capital Radio, TalkSPORT, Sunrise radio, 101.1 Rock Radio in Manchester, and even Kool FM, before he realised that in all likely hood he was going to end up building someone else’s dream if he didn’t take the leap and go for it on his own. And this he did by launching Music Radio Creative, a company that provides jingles, voice over talent, and script editing for anyone with a desire to create a podcast or radio programme too. Radio stations to your humble podcasters, have saught out his knowledge of everything sound related, and positioned him very much front and centre of the UK podcasting scene. And now with his wife Izabella, and his ever expanding family, he has taken this profile and launched the UK Podcasters Community and The New Media Europe Conference too. He is nothing but busy I can tell you. So with so many career jumps in his life, was he always on the path to where he is today, or is it one that is totally unexpected? And does he feel that being an entrepreneur in 2016, especially in the world of New Media is still wild west time, or just a walk on the golden sands of life? Well let’s find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots, with the one and only Mr Mike Russell.
