I know it can be hard to open up about the things that trouble us, but I realized I needed to be honest with myself and say what was weighing on my mind.
Last week i saw a stranger commit suicide right in front of me and I needed to process it.
So this podcast is a quick audio diary of my journey back to a positive mindset after years struggling with the shock of this event over a few days.
The best way to not be afraid is to realize that the person who attempted suicide was suffering immensely in their head. Reprogramming the story in your mind will help you see the person who attempted suicide as a troubled human being, and not someone that is weak or crazy.
It also helps to know that for every one person that attempts suicide there are many more people who contemplate it. So if you are feeling down and out, try to remember this, because I truly believe that knowing this made me
