Todays guest started in business at quite a tender age.Yes,at the age of five,he was already on the look out for money making activities, when he negotiated with his mother a salary to lick the stamps for her flyers.Im not sure that I would have been so keen to do that, but hey as he says 0.01 per two stamps that’s a lot of money when you are five years old.But of course you cant just lick stamps for a living, but funnily enough the power of his mouth is what has taken him to where he is today. He was always fascinated by speakers, and those that would get up and say profound things, or simply just to help people improve their lot.And growing up he had a lot of professional speakers stay over at house as guests of his parents, and was given a first hand look at what it takes to work within the speaking profession. And how his internet marketing consultancy “Red Beard Consultancy” is helping those very same people who inspired him as a child with their marketing challenges. So lets bring on the show, as we start Joining Up Dots with the one and only Mr Brian Keith.

JD Bloodstone: A Man Who Has Grown Balls, Shared Them With The World Three Times, And Still Wants More
Todays guest has the biggest balls you can imagine. Well I better rephrase that really,it doesn't sound the best way to start an introduction after all.So lets go with, our guest today has three hugely successful books all based around the theme of being Ballsy in life Think and Grow Balls,Awaken The Balls Within, and 2014's addition to the balls family "The Ten Habits Of Highly Ballsy People".Highly influenced by the classic "Think And Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill our guest has brought the book and its content up to date, and added a rich vein of humour, anecdotes and well.....himself to the pages. All of them are fun, readable and hugely powerful guides to taking control of your life, shaking off the fear that roots us to the spot, and moving forward with more momentum than you could hope for.But believe me, behind the words of the book we have a man with a personal story that has been challenging and difficult, which has allowed him to roadtest the words he has given to the world. So what makes a man take the leap of faith and attempt to change the world. And what makes a man think that he can bring something different to Hill, Robbins, and Canfields of the world? So now without further ado lets bring onto the show to starting joining up dots the one and only JD Bloodstone.

Liz Cortes: The Californian Girl Shows Us How Fitness, & Nutrition Can Be Taken From The Classroom To The PC & Across The Globe!
Todays guest has a story that the dots can be connected all the way back to being a child.
Starting with her love for gymnastics, she excelled at flips, tumbles, and all the other things that I can't even do one off, until one day her gymnastics coach failed to turn up for a session.
Instead of doing what most kids would do when the teacher is suddenly not around, and mess around, chat, and generally savour the fact that there are no adults in the room, our guest had other ideas.
Jumping up she decided to take over the session herself and for the next seven years coached 2 year olds up to adults.
And that is the beauty of life spent joining up the dots, as most of the time there is a big dot that takes you off on a path that you couldn't have predicted when the dot first appears.
Most of the time you don't even know that it appeared at all.
But her love for coaching was born, and after a series of injuries curtailed her continued participation in competitive athletics, she quickly developed a new passion for personal training, nutrition coaching, and teaching group exercise classes.
And the rest as they say is history.....but not so fast.
As although this seems like a normal story of a lady finding her path in life and following it through to success, it was far from that, as once she started to get serious and create her own fitness business, whilst her clients were getting healthier and fitter the complete opposite was true of our guest today.
Starting a new business, paying all her bills, was making her so stressed out, that it slowly started taking a toll on her body.
6 months later her body shut down. Shut down as in can’t train clients, can’t teach classes, constant pain, and she can barely stay awake.
So what does she do?
How does she recover her mojo, her fitness and her business, and take it to greater and greater levels of success.
Well lets find out as I bring on to the show the lovely and uber fit Liz Cortez

Turner Barr: A Man Who Is Going Around The World In 80 Jobs..Now He Can Add Podcast Guest To The List Too!
Todays guest can only be described as the new Jules Vern, or for younger listeners Michael Palin, as he is the creator of the site Around the world in 80 jobs whereby he crosses the globe, working in various positions of employment and of course sharing with us his successes, failures and crazy stories of a life on the road.
Back in 2007,after graduating from UC Berkeley our guest set out on the open road for a year of adventure.
With no clear plan. No fixed direction. And nothing more than a vague feeling of doing something memorable it was a path very different from where he is now.
And looking back from where he is now, it seems almost unbelievable that he didn’t immediately start blogging, creating content, or attempting to montize his wanderings across the globe.
But that is the beauty of a show like Join Up Dots, as many times a persons true path in life only becomes visible to them when hitting a crossroads.
And in this case it was an economic crossroads that made him decide on what he wanted to do in life.
The economy had tanked in 2008, and the prospect of getting straight back into employment when returning to the US suddenly seemed a distant dream.
And was it a dream that our guest was…..well dreaming about anyway?
Lets find out as we add another job on the list as podcast guest (although Im not going to pay him…just keep that to ourselves) the amazing, Mr Turner Barr.

Christopher Mance II: From The Military To The Online World Our Guest Knows The Power Of Connection And Is Making It Viral
Todays guest is someone who considers himself a life long student. And in the online environment he quite simply has submerged himself in the world of websites, traffic production, and content creation since an early age.He first learnt to write software when he was just a youthful 14 years old, and started his first company at the age of 20.But these were all stepping stones, or dots as we call them on the show, because no matter how well your site, vision and content look you are dead in the water without visiting traffic. And he first achieved this while he was graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point. All freshman were allowed to use the computers, and our guest decided to create a site on his love of Hip Hop music, which slowly but steadily became the go to place for lovers of that genre of music. So buoyed by his success and confident in his abilities, and after several false starts in 2011, he founded Nichevertising, an online business that helps business in a similar niches join forces to grow their business, and make their content hopefully go viral.Said in a different way our guest is trying to connect businesses with the same demographics so they can work together to help each others advertising campaigns go viral. Multiple businesses can join a campaign together and help each other gain huge exposure online. A real win-win for all parties, not least our guest. So the key questions are I suppose, how did he come up with this idea? Why did he persist with working online, and developing his entrepreneurial muscles when simply "getting a job" would have been the easier option? And where did he find the courage, support and faith in his abilities to push through the hard times to gain the success he deserves. So let me find out as much as I can whilst I have the chance to talk, and of course join up Dots with the one and only Christopher Mance II

Bobby Gill: A Man Who Starts Everyday On One Weetabix, But Fuels The World With His Passion For Apps And Everything Mobile
Todays guest is a man who since 2001 has had a fascination with coding and technology.Starting work as a QA Engineer for a company, which he quite readily admits that I cant find the right words that could do any justice to my time here.5 or 10 lines of blank text should more than suffice.he moved steadily though a series of positions that filled his days with programming, and more than a bit of messing around. One company paid him, whilst he joined a gang of eager programmers and developers to work on a slime basketball game….ok they didn’t know they were paying him to do this, but hey more fool them, they should have managed a little bit closer I think. But when Microsoft took a chance on him, then things started getting serious, and he realised that the time of playing was coming to an end.Whizz forward a few years, and he is now the founder of Blue Label Labs, a New York based mobile design and development lab for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. So how has he done this? How did he take the leap of faith that allowed him to leave the corporate environment as an employee, and build his own business (one not focused on slime basketball I can only imagine)Well lets find out as we invite onto the show to start joining up the dots of his life, the one and only Bobby Gill.

Todays guest is a lady who has really turned the corner in her life, due to focus, motivation and pure strength of will to achieve huge success. It wasnt always a given that she would end up where she is today as a number one Best Selling Author,an international speaker, championship motorcycle racer, accomplished business leader, musician and vocalist who has earned more than 50 podium placements in male-dominated motorcycle competitions. Now if that seems like a wildly adventurous and fun life to have,it wasn't always like that.As a young woman our guest was in a dark place in her life.Dark enough to consider suicide, but as we said by taking a determined approach to stride boldly into the light, she undertook in 1999 a course of personal and spiritual development at The Institute for Personal Growth in Quebec, Canada. In 2001, she bought herself a motorcycle for pleasure, and two years later started motorcycle racing for sport. In 2007, she secured a Third-place finish at Daytona Raceway, against 75 men and scored 9th overall in the WERA National Championship in the USA.But really this is just the beginning of her success and now with her books, coaching, and presentations teaching us to take control of our lives and Win the race of life at 180 mph then there is no better time to start joining up dots with the one and only Nadine Lajoie.
Mon, 23 June 2014
Todays guest is the type of person that can only really be described as a serial entrepreneur. He has been founding and co founding businesses since he was 14 years old, when he started his first business a comics book rental company. And since then he has navigated the world of the 9 – 5 with, lets say wariness.Being somebody who readily describes himself as a round peg in a square hole, the life in corporate land was something that never really fitted. In fact he considers working in a cubicle or other standard position as jail, and has since 2009 been inspiring folks across the globe to escape and find their own futures, through the Breaking The 9 To 5 Jail programme. And that passion has led him to become a public speaker of note with keynotes and workshops driving home the message of “Consistent action taking.”Using his life incidents, client stories, experiences, fun observations, and a unique story telling approach, he has inspired, informed, and entertained audiences of all ages and abilities. He strongly believes that one can be over-educated however, one can never be over-inspired and inspiration is the most important element of each success story. So how does he do this? And how does he find the courage to take such huge action everyday, as he changes not just his life, but that of 1000′s of others too?Well lets find out as we start joining up dots with the one and only Divesh Dwivedi

Eldonna Lewis Fernandez: How A Look In The Mirror Changed Her Life, And Why The Military Started Her True Path
Todays guest is a lady who has had a career that can be split into two clearly defined
halves. The first half was based firmly in the military, as over 23 years she was employed by the air force as a negotiator and contracts expert. The air force used her to negotiate contracts from $1 to over $100 million both stateside and internationally.
She was deployed to the Middle East after 911, has worked in the White House, and
even holds a Top Secret security clearance and has been a trusted agent of the U.S.
Government for 30 years. But upon leaving the military, our guest didn't just consider the skills that she had honed, to be only useful in her past life, but has taken those very same skills and brought them into the corporate world.
She now specializes in training people how to think like a negotiator by creating win
win results and understanding the pitfalls to avoid. Now if that isn't enough, she is also an international award winning speaker and an award winning author of two books "Think Like A Negotiator, 50 Ways to Create Win Win Results by Understanding the Pitfalls to Avoid" and "GoPINK Rules of Engagement 5 Foundational Principles for Taking Control of the Handlebars of Your Life."
So lets bring onto the show, to start joining up the dots of her life, the one and
only, Harly Davidson riding, Eldonna Lewis Fernandez.

Todays guest entrepreneur joining us on the Steve Jobs inspired business interview is officially the youngest person that I have had on the show...but wow what an entrepreneur he is.
When he was 12 years old instead of asking for a Xbox, or bike like most kids his age, he instead asked for a beehive.
You see he had learnt about Colony Collapse Disorder from a beekeeper and wanted to make a difference.
Yes, he did grow up on a farm, but that is still something that lets be honest is a strange thing to ask for even from such a well grounded and well raised lad.
So he started selling honey by the side of the road to raise money and from that one beehive, our guest found the motivation to create an industry that is now present in stores across the United States of America.
Like all the best ideas its a simple one.
Having too much honey for his family to consume he started experimenting with the substance by adding spices...and BAM he created Henrys Humdingers.
But how did he do it?
How did he at such an early age continue his education whilst taking on the business world and win?
What made him so caring to the plight of an insect that for many of us, we just flip away with our hands whenever they come near?
Well lets find out as we start Joining Up Dots in todays interview with the inspirational teenage entrepreneur himself Mr Henry Miller
Fri, 20 June 2014
My guest entrepreneur joining us on todays interview, is a man who has driven himself to the top of his business as a coach, productivity expert, and author, and is quite simply the guy to turn to if you want to make your best even better. He has earned two Master's degrees after studying US History and Spanish Literature, and then went on to earn another in Education to understand how to teach.Add another
masters in Psychology and then you really have an intoxicating and powerful mix that can look into the core of all of us, and help us raise our game.As an executive coach, he provides practical methods to achieve quality work/life balance.
You can say he is the lifestyle king. Allowing for amazing career success whilst also having the freedom to enjoy the income he earns.
He has worked with leaders and executives for over 14 years in the business and education sectors, with his focus on creating
ideas that matter and implementing solutions that are valuable to the organization he has been very busy indeed. While traveling worldwide, he trains and competes regularly as an age-group triathlete too.Now if all that eduction seeking and performance enhancing would make me you like me, want to throw yourself down on the nearest sofa, with a huge tub of Ben and Jerry's and take it easy, he is not like that at all.Our guest seems to have a limlitless amount of energy.Since 2003, he has completed four 1/2 Ironman distance races, several half-
marathons and several smaller triathlons around the United States, he consistently places in the top 10% of his age group in both 5K and 10K races. So without further ado, whilst we have him sitting I guess in one spot, lets start Joining Up Dots with the one and only supe entrepreneur and author Jason W. Womack

Todays guest entrepreneur is a lady who found her thing in life, it seems to me by chance.
But it was a chance occurrence that like so many people who come onto the Join Up Dots podcast interview, she grasped with both hands and ran with it.
The founder of Solamente55.com a company that specialises in making unique and boutique t-shirts highlighting the niche areas of your life and town or city has been a great success.
So if you want a funky, t-shirt that probably none of your mates are wearing then this is the place to come.
But her story isn't just about marketing products, as since starting on her professional life she has literally submerged herself in cultures across the globe.
Working in Croatia, Holland, Africa and the United States, she has become multicultural and has an outlook that can only take her to the very top of her game.
But what is her game?
Where does she see her future and unique self to be heading?
Is it into corporate land, where she has so much experience, or to have the freedom to take her clothing company into every shopping mall, and high street across the globe.
Well lets find out as we start Joining Up Dots with the one and only fashion expert herself Amy Shifflette.

Todays guest freedom seeker is an entreprneur who is really getting out there and making a difference to the world.
And if you are a podcaster, or consumer of online content then you will have heard this mans work without knowing the name most probably.
He has loose lips that were born to communicate, and golden tones made for inspirational comment.
And that is why he is the inspirational voice that introduces so many of the shows out there at the moment.
But that is not all he does well, as it seems to me that he was born to be an entrepreneur, and motivational force to many, as well as....your going to find out during the show.
So lets listen to the wisdom, and experience of a man who has been through the corporate route, and is now living firmly on his own terms.
Creating a lifestyle that is pure and simple to what he wants
He is a husband, father, grower of an amazing beard (which I will have to discuss) and the co-host of Love Your Leap with the legend that is John Lee Dumas.
So now is time to start Joining Up Dots as we interview the one and only golden voice over man himself.....Mr Tim Paige!
Tue, 17 June 2014
Todays guest is a man who was introduced to me by Tom Trush who appeared on Episode 17 of the show.He said to me"David you have to have this guy on he has an amazing story".I think that was selling it a bit short when you realize that this guy started his first business at the age of 4 when he sold artwork to his neighbors. That certainly needs discussing. His business ventures have ranged from establishing a bathroom tollbooth at his parents home (which they shockingly agreed to play along with) to creating an angel-financed pet health insurance company to a multimillion-dollar real estate development company–and many others.Today, his advice has appeared in media throughout the world including Fox Business,Inc.,Forbes, and Business Insider, plus he has spoken to both domestic and international audiences. He was selected as one of The American Genius Beat’s “Top 50 Influencers.” On occasion, his kids even take his advice. But hang on a bit how about the fact that as a child, he was diagnosed as having one of the worst cases of ADHD (along with a litany of other learning disabilities)the doctor had ever seen, yet refused medication and alternative education and taught himself how to succeed amidst those challenges! Oh and he is a three times wrestling state champion, and well….we could go on and on.But where to start is the problem……so lets just get on with introducing you to a man who I am so pleased agreed to Join Up the Dots of his life….Mr Charles Gaudet

Bev Vines-Haines & Charlotte Clary: The Two Grannies Show The World How To Build An Empire From Your Garage!
Our guests today have been close friends since the middle of the 80's, when due to doing what most mums do, they met whilst ferrying their kids to school and back.
And that simple connection lead them on an entrepreneurial journey that perhaps they wouldn't have imagined as possible at the very beginning.
Starting in the garage looking at money making ideas and projects, these two mums started researching home remedies, studied herbal properties and used their families as guinea pigs for numerous concoctions.
Over the years, they have acquired a file filled with business cards they created for one idea after another. They have run a newspaper, produced original Murder Mystery Dinner events, operated an advertising and PR firm and generally sizzled with endless ideas.
And I took this phrase directly from their website as I loved it, had never heard it before, but it seems so apt for a show like this.
"Even a blind pig eventually finds an acorn."
And due to the ever expanding production line of grandchildren they decided they wanted to find candy, or sweets as we call them in the UK, that they would be happy with their loved ones eating.
And it seems that so many people wanted the same thing, and that blind pig had found its acorn.
And that pig started running, and running it was quite an excited pig it seems, and now these two amazing ladies have a company called Ice Chips Candy, which led to them being contestants on the American Version of the UK Show "Dragons Den" which is called "Shark Tank".
So did it work for them?
Did they gain the investment that they sought?
Are they pleased that they tried so many things on their way to finding their thing in life?
Well lets find out as we discuss Ice Chips Candy, the Shark Tank, and of course joining up dots with the amazing powerhouse couple that are...Bev Vines-Haines and Charlotte Clary

Todays guest is a lady who has such a tale to tell she is absolutely perfect for a show like Join Up Dots.
Known as someone who laughs a lot, she actually says in her own words "That I don't look like what I have been through"
And she has certainly been through a lot, not least becoming a survivor of breast cancer.
Living in New York, she has spent the majority of the last 30 years working in higher education, and it is obvious that she is a lady who believes in empowerment, and inspiring others to reach for their dreams.
With her weekly radio show, her blogs, podcast, and myriad of media platforms she has set out on a path that is uniquely her and 100% giving to others.
So how did she get here?
How did she find that path, and more importantly know that it was the one that would light her up inside?
Well lets not delay anymore and bring on the show the amazingly inspirational and motivational Dr Fay M Butler.

Todays guest entrepreneur is creating an amazing lifestyle for himself due to being a content marketing machine.
H has been in the business one way or another since way back in the early 2000s.
Technology seems to be something that brings him to life, and when you look at his career it has taken him in directions that like everyone who spends time with me to Join Up Dots could not have been perceived at the very beginning.
He loves to code and write programs, and this love allowed him to start creating his own IPhone apps. His very first one hitting the number 8 position under Educational Games in iTunes.I
’m not sure if this is good or not, but I am certainly going to find out during the discussion.
He has contributed to major publications including Lifehack, Social Media Examiner, iPhoneLife, Unbounce, Kissmetrics, and many more and even now hosts his own podcast focused on guess what mobile apps.So how does he come up with areas of focus for his business?
And how does he decide the direction to go into, with so many areas that must make him to want to jump in all directions at once.
He describes himself as 60% marketer, 30% developer, 10% designer and 100% hustler. And fortunately for us he isn’t very good at maths, as I would sling in 100% conversationalist too.So lets get down to business and start joining up the dots with the one and only, 200%’r…… Mr Steve Young.

Todays guest is a man who over the last few years, after leaving college has taken a huge amount of action. He knew he wanted to have his own business, he knew that he didn't want to work the nine to five, but other than that dream he had no idea at all.So setting himself a deadline of five years to start and run his own business he set off on a path that he could never have dreamt at the beginning.Flexing his hustle muscle he has done many things, in a timeframe that seems almost too audacious.Managing to keep working a regular gig at nights, he has started the Billionsuccess blog and podcast, who goal is help all of us create our own successful start-ups by sharing inspiring stories of success and I suppose failures too.He is the Co-Founder of Triplefy an online service that allows businesses to sell their own “deals” (similar to Groupon) without the substantial cost and potential inconvenience having to go through a third-party company. And if that is not enough, he still works the for a security company, and has the time restraints that a father, and husband has day to day.So how has he done all this, and remained sane and youthful looking?Well lets find out as we introduce to you the one and only Herby Fabius.
Thu, 12 June 2014
If you think that you need to start your journey of discovery and fulfilment from a privileged position or its never going to work then think again.
Todays guest started his journey and I guess life in quite an unusual place, and it certainly was with no entitlement.
Born in Vietnam, he was then taken to live in a refuge camp in Indonesia, before moving again to Australia, where he resides today.
He has overcome challenges both financially and physically, with incredible persistence and commitment.
He has played Rugby at the National Championship in Canada, competed in Thai Boxing at International level, worked as a Professional Chef at a 5-Star Hotel, and even run a small food business.
He has completed a Bachelor of Humanities degree from The College At Southwestern in Fort Worth, Texas and is currently doing a Masters Degree.
If that isn't impressive enough, then this man who seems to be born with an inherent talent to take action, has created his own website entitled the Wantrepreneur journey.com, where he encourages his readers and listeners to strive to find their unique self.
As he says in his own words "I believe that everything you do in life is either an expression of who you truly are or a distraction from who you truly are. Discovering who you truly are is the burning question in everyone’s soul."
So let's find out today, how he found his unique self as I start joining up dots with the inspirational Thai Nguyen.
Wed, 11 June 2014
Todays' guest entrepreneur is a man who quite literally was born to be a voice on the mic.
And so its no surprise that he is now creating career freedom by creating his own online podcast.
He has been in radio one way or another since getting his first job way back at the tender age of 14, when he quite simply hustled his way into the producers chair.
And that flexing of his "Hustle Muscle" appears to be an inherent part of his character, as since then he has worked and flourished in a myriad of positions...even spending sometime working with a huge mouse as his boss.
Yep, Old Mickey paid his salary for a while whilst he worked for Walt Disney Radio (I had no idea that Disney had a radio station!)
So what takes a natural talent behind the mic, to step away from the radio business, and create his own podcasts, and his own future with the The Go For It Show the latest motivational powerhouse to hit the ears of the world.
Is it just a case of a guy who tired of the corporate gig, and needed to spread his own wings?
Or is it someone who has a passion for a subject that he felt wasn't being provided to the world?
Well lets find out as we start Joining Up Dots with the one and only, golden voice himself the podcasting entrepreneur Mr Tysen Webb.

Todays guest entrepeneur looking to join us on todays inspiring interview, is a man who upon reading his About page I thought "Man we have something in common"
He quit his 9-5 job in September 2013, and has since embarked on a daily mission to create an income producing production line, whilst inspiring motivating and empowering one million people.
Our guest wants to put a plan in place to help one million people leave their corporate job by building a business they love so they can live life on their own terms.
Total freedom of choice and freedon of time.
Well that is something that I am all ears for, and have my pen and paper at the ready.
He has worked with major companies and smaller businesses, including top professional sports teams, Fortune 500 companies, industry leading entrepreneurs and even local businesses as he helps everyone develop their mobile marketing strategy.
But how has he done it?
How has he since September 2013, found the courage to quit his job, sell his house, get married, start his own blog, podcast and coaching business whilst still retaining control of his own destiny.
Well lets find out as we start joining up dots with the one and only Mobile master Mr entrepreneur himself Greg Hickman
Mon, 9 June 2014
Todays guest is a lady that I first connected with on LinkedIn, as I simply loved the message she was putting outto the world.
She is a campaigner against I suppose corporate contentment, where so many of us work in jobs that do not fulfil us simply due to our belief that this is the safest route to take in life.
The paycheck is the most important thing, but our guest today believes otherwise.
In 2011, she couldn't suppress this desire anymore to find her authentic self and she left a 12 year career in a Fortune 100 company to go it alone.
And quite simply it appears to me that she hasn't looked back, although that is exactly what I am going to be asking her to do today.
Now with her company Prolific Living Inc. she is a professional blogger, author, speaker, business coach and an expert green juicer.
She is passionate about showing her readers and clients how to define their own freedom in their health and their careers.
So how can we learn from her?
How can we find the methods, skills, and passion to create a future that is all our own, and delights us on a daily basis.
Well there is no better time than today, so let me introduce to you the lovely, inspiring and of course conversational Farnoosh Brock.
Sun, 8 June 2014
Todays guest is a man who literally swims amongst the sharks on a daily basis.
The host and founder of the brilliant Shark Tank Podcast, he has found a way of combining his love for producing top notch online content, with his interest in entrepreneurs and of course the programme Shark Tank.
If you are in the UK, then think "Dragons Den" and you will have the idea of what his show is all about.
So how has he managed to create an audience that want to listen to stories, that in their own way have been told before?
How has he managed to hook a stream of contestants on the show that are ready for his grilling (There were a couple of top notch fish jokes in there just in case you missed them!)
Well he has done it with passion, charisma, perseverance and a belief in his product.
He says that he is just a regular guy who married an amazing woman, and has two boys that are his life.
So when he is not being romantic to this wonderful woman, playing and inspiring his boys, or wandering around Phoenix in Arizona, then you can find him playing soccer whilst dreaming of playing for Arsenal FC from the United Kingdom.
It seems he has a lot on his plate, so I am grateful that he has found the time to come on the show and join up some dots with me today.
Let me introduce to you the Host of Shark Tank Podcast Mr TJ Hale.

Leslie Samuel: An Entrepreneur Who Has Made Education Fun And Profitable For Students Across The Globe
Todays guest entrepreneur is someone who when you were at school you would have loved to have as your teacher.
He makes learning cool, and fun, and has a desire to teach in new and exciting ways.
So what makes him unique at least to my awareness of such folk, and brings him on to a show like Join Up Dots?
Well, unlike many of the people around the world that specialize in education and particularly biology, today’s guest has gone online and created a world that can bring his passions to the widest audience ever.
Having the freedom to use state of the art video, and podcasting equipment he inspires and educates from a far.
Many of the visitors to his site, comment that he has taught them more in a hour than weeks in a stuffy old classroom.
So how has it done it, and created a career that is now so successful?
How has this man from the island of St Maarteen in the Caribbean created an income and career that is built purely on his passions.
And why the hell did he leave St Maarteen?
Come on beach, sand, laptop what more can you want? So let me introduce to you as we discuss his life, failures and success, and of course Join Up some Dots with the one and only classroom entrepreneur Leslie Samuel.
Fri, 6 June 2014
Todays guest has for many, many years preached the benefits of bringing creativity into all forms of our lives, through his keynote addresses, coaching sessions, appearances all over the media, and through the 40 plus books he has written.
He was born in the Bronx, New York, where he lived until the age of 5, but grew up in the Brooklyn area of New York City.
Education and the desire to learn and develop seems to be an inherent part of his personality as after 1968, after a three year stint in the military, unlike many people who have had enough of education as children he returned once again to the classroom.
He attended Oregon State University and the University of Oregon, where he received a B.S. in philosophy.
After this he earned a master’s degree in creative writing from San Francisco State University while ghost-writing mysteries and nonfiction and self-publishing fiction.
And then if this wasn't enough in the ’80s he returned to school and earned a second bachelor’s degree in psychology, a second master’s degree in counselling, and a doctorate in counselling psychology.
So what is creative coaching?
And can we all bring this into our lives, if so many of us are in fulltime employment, and generally feel that we have little time for anything else?
Well lets find out as we start Joining Up Dots with the one and only Eric Maisel.

Todays guest quite simply appears to have stumbled onto something and then like all great ideas ran with it.
From starting a business from his bedroom as a bit of a joke "and those are his words" he has created a business which is now thriving.
With an office, employees and a lot of late nights, alongside his partner Lena the two have developed "Xero Shoes" a lightweight sandal, which gives the feeling of running barefoot, whilst protecting your precious toes from stones, injury inducing objects...and I suppose dog mess too.
That last one is worth the price of a pair of these shoes alone!
But its not all business, as with a few different content producing websites online (one that I have to discuss called the Anti Guru blog), a company that helps budding scriptwriters create the next American masterpiece, and being a published author of "Scriptwriting Secrets - Writing Your Million Dollar Story. " he fills his spare time with go-kart racing, miniature golf, bowling and on the 1st of January each year cracking open the ice and jumping into the Boulder Reservoir.
So is this man a creative action taker, or simply a lunatic.....come on the 1st of January going swimming!
Added to that he is also one of the fastest over 50 year olds in the whole of America too!
So how has it done it?
How did he do what so many people dream off, and create a future that is not only financially promising, but sounds like a lot of fun too?
Well lets find out as we introduce to you the one and only, Steven Sashen.

Scott Barlow & Mark Sieverkropp: Building Their Passions Around Careers, Early Mornings And Unicorns!
Our guests today are the powerhouses behind my favourite podcast Happen To Your Career.
However in this case, the podcast is just a small part of what is a passion filled centre of resource for all of us who are looking for a change in our career.
They quite simply believe that it is our their unique path in life to ensure that we all fill our days with work that delights us.
So how have they done this?
Well of course, they have a passion for the task, and they also have been in jobs and positions that have filled them with dread.
Coming home exhausted, hating their bosses and seeing very little of their families they knew that they had to do something.
And we are glad that they have because without guys like this in the world, providing support and encouragement, helping with decisions so many of us would be in similar daily situations.
So lets bring onto the show to start joining up the dots of their lives, Mr Scott Barlow and Mr Mark Sieverkropp.

Our guest today is the author of the book What Just Happened? How to Bounce Back in Life So You Can Do More, Have More, and Be More.
Being an eternal optimist, he has overcome many difficulties in his business and personal life which would have stopped others in their tracks.
Financial difficulties which he quite openly describes as extreme, physical difficulties, and of course like many of us have experienced over the years the one thing that generally suffers when we are under stress like this…..relationship issues too
But it certainly hasn't always been doom and gloom, as he has enjoyed his share of business success including building three different companies that have achieved revenues in excess of a million dollars.
So with all these ups and downs and to coin a phrase which I'm not sure I should use but it sounds right being an expert in “Bouncebackability” he has taken all these life lessons, and within the pages of his book teaches us how to turn stumbling blocks into stepping stones in seven steps.
He has been married to his beautiful wife Tasha for sixteen years and has three kids including teenage daughters Libby and Logan, and a six year old son Fisher.
So now its time to welcome to the show…...Jimmy Burgess.

Todays guest has a fascinating story, which touches on many areas of physical and emotional heartache and obstacles.
When he was just five, our guest fell over 30 feet off a bridge and spent over three weeks in a coma.
Fortunately the only damage he received from this fall was a loss of hearing in his ear.
Because of the relearning he had to do, including walking, he was always picked last for sports, and picked on the most.
You would have thought at this point he would have lashed out and fought back with resentment, but that would have been nowhere near the truth of what happened.
Instead, he enrolled in karate and in a very short time achieved black belt status, to became a teacher.
In his words he says “Looking back, while I taught the mechanics of kicking and punching, what really excited me was helping the students understand their inner strength and believe in themselves again.”
He had found his path in life, but now just had to find a way of channelling his passion.
And that is where his wife and business partner comes in and with a fascinating journey of her own, taking her from a childhood growing up in China, to the culture shock of a life in America.
In the states she pursued education with a passion, and studied to become a dentist, finally owning her own very successful practice.
And that for many would have been job done, but like her husband she felt something was missing.
She felt drawn to creating a better world for others.
And so together this powerhouse of a married team, have taken it on themselves to create their own business built around coaching, podcasting, writing and being hugely positive to create a future that is 100% percent unique to themselves.
So there is no better time than today to bring onto the show and start joining up the dots with the one and only Joel Boggess.

Our guest today is the author of Three Simple Steps, a masterclass publication that can show the majority of people how to escape their present situation, and reclaim their future. And the author certainly knows a thing or two about reclaiming his future. He openly admits he was not afforded the most luxurious of upbringings, in fact being born into a life of poverty. But he always had an inherent knack for seeing an opportunity to make money, and therefore change his situation.Whether it was selling sweets to his classmates on the schoolbus, or developing multi-million pound businesses on a shoestring, his fingers crossed many areas of business with apparent ease. His successes have been frequent, and financially lucrative leading him to a life that many would say was a dream existence. But he is so much more than a wealthy businessman enjoying a life of hard earned luxuries. His belief that life should not be a struggle and is one that should be enjoyed, has been one that unfortunately he has been unable to deliver to countless people he has encountered over the years.People who are trapped, unable to realize the dreams that they hold in their hearts. So with an audience waiting to hear how they too can achieve a future they deserve, I would like to introduce to the show, the one and only Trevor Blake.
